17/05/2026: We were recommended this restaurant from our abnb. It didn't dissapoint. We ordered a spread of tripe, steak, and pasta dishes. This was the best we've ever had and would come again. The service went above and beyond. Not only were they attentative and quick when we ordered but they helped us out when we were in trouble returning home. Truly one of the best group of people and food of Florence.

26/03/2026: Dishes that are definitely not typical, commercial cheeses and cured meats and definitely not Tuscan, they brought the bill without even asking for it, practically as if to say go away, I wouldn't put it in typical Tuscan trattorias but in tourist trattorias

13/07/2026: First of all, you should know that it's not a touristy place. Most of the staff don't speak English. If you want to taste real Italian cuisine, you should definitely go. I'm not usually picky about food, but even though I couldn't finish a huge plate and left it for my boyfriend, I'm giving it a perfect score because it was entirely my fault for making the wrong choices. The tiramisu was the best tiramisu I've ever had. Simply amazing. The mushroom and meat dish was also fantastic, but the stars of the night were definitely the Brûlee pecorino cheese and the deep-fried zucchini flowers. Just for those two and the tiramisu alone, you'd definitely wait in line for minutes.

The Tuscan dishes are very well prepared, including the fried cobwebs, which are delicious, as are the cappellacci al peposo, which are also delicious! We also had the snails, which were delicious! 10/07/2026: A hidden gem in the heart of Florence! Finding a corner of true peace and quiet in the center of Florence seems almost a miracle, but this trattoria managed it perfectly. Located in a secluded area, pleasantly sheltered from the tourist bustle, it welcomes guests in an intimate, charming, and relaxed atmosphere. The real highlight of the evening, however, was Stefano. A delightful and exceptionally kind person, he literally took us under his wing from the first moment until our final goodbyes. With his attentive yet unobtrusive welcome, he made us feel not just like customers, but like special guests in the home of friends. And the food? Simply amazing. Traditional dishes expertly cooked, rich in flavor, and prepared with the highest-quality ingredients. The prices are absolutely in line with the city average for the quality offered, without any "tourist trap" markups. An impeccable experience in every way. We'll definitely be back, even just for the pleasure of experiencing Stefano's wonderful hospitality! Highly recommended!

10/07/2026: had an amazing dinner here! Staff were so lovely, the food was immaculate - like nothing else. Highly recommend the beef steak, and their famous pasta! Even had a unexpected beautiful opera singer who was eating dinner serenade us. Will be coming back.

16/06/2026: Passing by on my way to the Tesla Supercharger. The price was fair (€12) for generous portions. The chicken and potatoes were unremarkable, dry, and the potatoes were cold.

06/06/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. The sausage and potatoes were good, but unfortunately the linguine with mushrooms was bland, but I assume that's normal in Tuscany, considering the bread. I'd opt for meat instead.

13/06/2026: A catastrophic experience. We waited a full hour and a half for two embarrassing appetizers and two first courses, both of which were a complete insult to Tuscan tradition. The two tartares were extremely poor quality, warm, and of the lowest possible quality: a real stomach ache. The absolute worst part is the total violation of hygiene and HACCP standards, and the appalling handling of the desserts, visible to all. As if that weren't enough, despite booking with The Fork at a 50% discount, they presented us with a very high bill, disproportionate for such terrible quality. I wouldn't go back.

11/06/2026: A very good bistecca fiorentina at a reasonable price. Service is friendly and fast. The location is a bit off the beaten path, so it's quiet and not crowded. Excellent value for money, and I'd gladly return.

01/06/2026: Wonderful place! Truly. A truly beautiful location! Enough! Extremely salty food. Service: three times they wanted to take away our dishes while we still had to finish, just because we were talking among ourselves... three times I had to point it out, the first time politely, the second time a little annoyed, the third time really bored, and there was no one there, which goes without saying they were in a hurry to rotate the tables... there was no one!!!! Cost? Well... according to the calculations, it was €50 for two, I remember the prices off by heart... wine? Without a menu, they recommended a Verdicchio... a good, underrated wine... it arrived warm in a cooler... in the end, a €34 accident!?!?! No comment. We didn't complain, we paid, and in the end I politely complained! I think they knew because right before paying they asked me if I wanted to speak to the owner, I wasn't interested. We paid, complained, and left. We won't be returning, but the place is wonderful!

23/04/2026: I had to eat in this restaurant 3 times for work reasons. I've come to the conclusion that the work-related indifference has now arrived. On the first day I ordered bruschetta, I was given four with a thinly sliced ​​bread probably exhumed from the bread basket, poor seasoning and small portions for the price. Furthermore, the fried fish which fit in one hand is 20 euros too much, especially because there were no vegetables and they added French fries. Second day, crostini, not crostone, given the small size of the burrata and mushrooms, a bit too salty and for the absolutely exorbitant price. Then I ordered baked potatoes that weren't salted enough and probably not even blanched, so much so that they were boiled in the oven with their skins boiled and not even crispy. I'll take the skins on myself. Then I ordered ravioli mugellani with white ragù, the ragù tasted like nothing. The tortelloni, the same, neither the potato nor the cheese, were completely anonymous. I ordered 5 of them, probably homemade given the irregularity of the dough, but low-quality products. Excellent point about putting the cheese separately. Finally, the pizza was burnt and with the French fries collected from the bottom of the fryer full of oil and crushed on the pizza... what were you trying to make with a French fry crumble? The result, you imagine, was salty and full of oil. Also, if we agree on a time, it has to be respected, not prepared when I arrive and made the customer wait. They were very kind about the ordering.

05/04/2026: Today for lunch on Easter day we ate in nine people, the food was super excellent, all fish, plenty of dishes, three people wanted the meat menu, everything ok, all the staff were available, I thank everyone and I recommend you go in large numbers, it's really worth it, thanks again, see you soon

15/06/2026: I've had lunch at the restaurant twice; the food is very good. The only downside is that they're a little slow to bring the order—you have to wait a while—but the great taste makes up for it. I can't comment on the rooms because I haven't stayed there.

17/07/2026: I can't rate the food because I didn't even get to it - we walked with my family, the restaurant was the only one in the area, not even half of the tables were occupied, the staff asked if we had a reservation - we didn't have one, but the restaurant was half empty - they told us they were full and couldn't seat any of us, you can't even order takeaway - the staff doesn't speak English and pretends to be Greek - terrible.

29/06/2026: I booked a table for four for dinner on June 28th. I arrived an hour early to allow an elderly person with me to spend some time outside, where there was an open space. I asked a young man behind the adjoining bar, which belongs to the same owner as the restaurant, for a bottle of water, which I paid for immediately. I also politely asked if I could take two free plastic chairs from among the many available, before going to the dinner table, for the elderly person with me and one of her daughters. I had brought two more chairs with me. The aforementioned individual categorically refused to let me use them for a while, even though I had a reservation for dinner shortly thereafter. For years, I frequented that place, which had other, much kinder and more understanding owners, and they always let me take the chairs, and I always returned them. I must say that since the change of ownership, the attitude has definitely deteriorated. I then canceled the dinner as well, and I don't think I'll ever set foot in there again. The young man who displayed such a lack of understanding not only displayed a lack of kindness, but also a complete lack of empathy and kindness.
