06/08/2025: Sono una cliente storica del ristorante. Questa sera a cena ho trovato tutto il personale nuovo. Ho ordinato le lasagne e mi è arrivato un piatto pieno di sugo con una fetta da meno di mezza porzione. I prezzi sono aumentati, la qualità del cibo è diminuita, il servizio scadente è poco attento. Tempi di attesa molto più lunghi che in passato. Come distruggere il mito di una trattoria in una cena... Assolutamente sconsigliato.

06/08/2025: Cena domenica d'agosto. Serata fresca, ambiente esterno piacevole. Due primi di buona qualità, quindi morbide scaloppine e croccante coniglio fritto. Per non farci mancare niente un bel tiramisù. Acqua vinodella casa e caffè , conto poco più di 70 euro. Servizio attento e cordiale. Bella serata

05/01/2026: Located in the heart of the historic center, yet conveniently located just a 3-minute walk away, with ample parking available free at night. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel has a terrace overlooking the main square, where breakfast is served during the season, available for an additional fee. For the price paid in December, it's a very good value. It's a shame that, after a perfect night's sleep, at 7:10 a.m., a loud ticking sound from a pump behind our room (number 4) interrupted the perfect silence.

29/12/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a short weekend in Florence, during our visit to the Uffizi Gallery, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, with immaculately clean and welcoming spaces. The staff is extremely kind, polite, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with quality products and a variety that demonstrates the attention paid to guests: even the wasa were included, a detail that truly makes a difference for those who appreciate a more complete and healthy choice. The superior room we were assigned was very beautiful, tastefully decorated in a classic style with antique furniture. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. We also appreciated the selection of wines and personal care products; we, in particular, purchased two excellent bottles. In short, everything was excellent: comfort, service, quality, and customer care. A stay we recommend without hesitation.

07/03/2026: Family dinner, nice and welcoming place, booked through The Fork, well-cooked dishes but very small quantities for the price paid and also the The Fork discount was not applied unless requested.

01/03/2026: We booked through TheFork, 30% off for six people, for lunch. The food was excellent. The Florentine steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta lacked salt, but it was passable. The bill was a bit steep, but we're right in the center of Florence.

25/09/2025: A wonderful place nestled in the Tuscan hills. The restaurant was decorated with care and attention to detail. We felt welcomed and pampered. The service was excellent. We tried excellent dishes with appropriate wine pairings. Everything was perfect. Definitely worth repeating. The prices were in line with the amount consumed.

13/03/2026: The dinner was very good, the service was quick and friendly. I recommend it for a quick break if you're nearby. I enjoyed the traditional fried pork chop with a thick bone, and the seafood was delicious, even for people who've never tried it before. I recommend it.

18/02/2026: A rustic trattoria offering a wide and varied selection of traditional dishes for a tasteful journey through home-style Tuscan cuisine. The owner is a real character, engaging and entertaining, explaining the dishes in a colorful manner with classic Tuscan flair, which blew us away. Excellent food, amazing flavors. What more can we say... EXCITING

01/03/2026: Beautiful place, unfortunately, expectations didn't match reality. 1. Wait times were excessively long 2. The much-vaunted roast was sold out 3. Ossobuco was nothing special, even tough 4. The peposo was not good 5. The steak was excellent, as were the potatoes and artichokes. 6. The quality/price ratio was exaggerated.

07/06/2025: Io sono trooooppo affezionato a questo posto. Ogni qualvolta mi trovo a Firenze è tappa fissa. Cibo autentico e buonissimo. Qualità prezzo top. Ma ciò che fa la differenza, lasciatemelo dire, è la gente che porta avanti questa splendida “bottega”. Massimiliano, gabry e tutta la squadra….Mio posto del cuore a Firenze.

05/05/2025: Allá Vecchia Bettola está fuera de la trampa turística en Florencia - vale la pena dejar el centro y salir aquí. Nos encantó todo y la oportunidad de visitar otras partes de Florencia. La comida es maravillosa - el servicio y el ambiente también. Si tuviéramos la oportunidad y nos quedamos más tiempo en la zona, sin duda habríamos vuelto para otra cena o almuerzo.

04/03/2026: The place was deserted for dinner on a Friday night at 9:00 PM, with only one waiter listening to videos loudly on his phone. The dishes arrived in about 2 minutes, still cold; perhaps the microwave wasn't working properly. Extremely negative experience.

27/02/2026: Terrible. Pappa al pomodoro, so to speak, sour and practically breadless. Ribollita with peppercorns. Boiled artichokes that you can easily make at home, let alone meatballs. The name is no guarantee. I repeat, a terrible experience.

09/03/2026: We dined here on a recommendation from an Aussi bar tender..... Whenever we hear of anyone visiting Florence this place is a priority. We're returning to Florence 18/19th July, so I'm hoping we can get a table and relive a treasured experience

29/12/2025: I stayed at this property for one night at the end of December 2025. When I called, they told me they were closed but that they would give me the room anyway. Someone would be there to greet me and give me the room keys at my arrival time. That's what happened; I was given the keys and had to find the room myself because the girl had no idea what floor it was on. When I checked into my room at 6:30 PM, I immediately noticed that the two radiators were freezing. I called and was told that they were working during the day and would be turned on around 7:00 PM. I went out to dinner, and at 8:30 PM, the radiators were still cold. I left a message, which never received a response. The next morning, since I had the keys to the door and the exit shutter, I didn't know who to leave them with. I tried calling both numbers, but one was unavailable, and the other rang unanswered. So, I left a message. I never received a call back and no one ever responded to my message.

13/03/2026: Went here in March of 2025, food was delicious but took a while to come. The service was fine but they also were very spread out and a tad bit slow. But not terrible. Would recommend the Ragu tagatelli.

17/11/2025: We went with friends for a birthday lunch. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was perfect (honorable mention for the tagliata), and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!

27/07/2025: Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo preso antipasto misto per tutti , 1 bistecca x 3 (1,500 Kg. circa), 1 filetto al pepe verde, funghi porcini di contorno, 2 dolci, vino della casa (tot. 185€). Il personale è cortese e il prezzo è nella media, niente da eccepire. Sinceramente però, da un locale blasonato come questo mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Cioè, ho mangiato una bistecca come molte altre, buona, ma niente di speciale. Bello il posto fuori che hanno sul retro.

27/07/2025: La trattoria Sanesi è stata una bella esperienza culinaria. Abbiamo preso le pappardelle al cinghiale:sugo molto buono e papardelle artigianali; un buon piatto. Per secondo un misto griglia:piccione,rostinciana e groppa;la rostinciana solo per gola,buona ma niente di che il piccione e la groppa buonissimi la groppa saporita e tenerissima con il giusto grasso che la rendeva succulenta il piccione buono e ben cotto. Avevano una vasta varietà di dolci ma noi abbiamo preso i classici cantuccini con vin santo..un buon vinsanto e anche i cantuccini buoni. La cameriera è stata molto cortese,gentile e accogliente attenta ad ogni nostra necessità. Il locale nonostante fosse pieno di clienti ha una bella atmosfera dove non si avverte confusione. Il prezzo è stato giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. I parcheggi non mancano tutti gratis nelle vicinanze. consigliatissimo. Per chi non è di Lastra a signa poi,essendo la trattoria proprio nel centro del paese, si può fare una bella passeggiata per visitare questo piccolo centro storico.
