01/06/2025: Wow - extraordinary dining experience in Florence. As a group of four, we did the sampler menu and loved it - great quality, variety and everything was expertly prepared. Highlights were the beef and especially the sauces, tapenade, charcuterie plate and especially the risotto. We all thought the prices were very reasonable for the food quality, service and ambiance. Highly recommended

31/05/2025: The food was fine, not exceptional. I don't know if the owner or manager took care of our party, but WOW was he rude! Impatient, slamming the food on the table, getting mad when one of our party had trouble making a menu choice and at the end of dinner rushing us out, saying they were busy. There are literally 100s of other lovely places in Florence to spend your money on a much better experience and food - skip this place.

06/04/2025: Passing through Empoli for an away match, following our favorite team - from Sardi we needed to eat Tuscan cuisine - we found the right place... traditional location! They welcomed us very well - we immediately felt at ease - we had an appetizer of Tuscan cured meats accompanied by panzanella.. First of all, pappardelle rigate with wild boar ragù - spectacular!! To end on a high note we wanted meat - the very kind manager offered us a nice 1.3kg Florentine steak accompanied by baked potatoes... cooked with expert hands, it was a poem!! All very good!! Highly recommended for those who want to savor excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine!!

08/05/2025: Everything was excellent, she was very kind and professional. The food is spectacular. The risotto and fillet are recommended. The latter melts in your mouth!! The fried foods also tasted good. I highly recommend and will return if possible

27/04/2025: A simple little place as we like it, we had a great meal, the spectacular first courses, the wonderful Florentine to fly away, delicious side dishes and top desserts. Not to mention the kindness, friendliness and delicacy of the owners. The chef with background music was top notch. We recommend it super and we will be back as soon as possible. Had 1 lunch and 1 dinner on holiday with the family. Quality, excellent price.

11/05/2025: We ordered takeout several times and the bags were not sealed and totally open every time. We even called the store to tell them that at least the bag should be closed. The male waiter who answered the phone was very impatient and said that they would seal the bags. Even then, when the delivery delivered, the bags were still completely open. 😅😅😅The food was not fresh and all cold. We ordered a lot but they didn't give us any tableware. This restaurant is a complete scam. The prices are exactly the same and they are a scam in the scenic area. The prices are much higher than the commodity prices. The food is completely different. The pasta and cheese are the saltiest we’ve ever eat that you can't eat them at all. This whole restaurant is a big minefield. The attitude of the waiters is really really bad and extremely rude, perfunctory. This is a terrible restaurant. You'd better not come here. It's a minefield.

06/05/2025: The sessions are nice, the food is delicious, they added a lot to the bill without asking. We paid attention to it and they brought it. The pizza and lasagna are delicious, but the mozzarella balls are not nice, even though I saw they were praised in the comments, but they are normal and a little plastic.

27/05/2025: We were there tonight in four people, it's been a long time since I've been there and I don't think I'll go back again... the food was good but the dishes were poor... we took a Bella Ciao platter for three people (3+3 croutons 3 slices of ham 3 slices of salami 3 meatballs and a bit of tripe) Eur 42.00 a steal for what there was...... in fact we asked if anything was missing but we were told that everything was there (?). 2 good pizzas but these too at a gourmet price. A first course 18.00 tasteless truffle platter and a fried dish 18.00 with two pieces of meat and then all vegetables plus a dessert 7.00 per person total 160.00 - 40.00 Eur per person. (For this price I can eat fish in another restaurant first course, second course and dessert coffee and after-dinner drink). I remembered something different. A nice big cross......! And I certainly won't recommend going there.

26/05/2025: The first courses were excellent, the grill was very good and the price was fair. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff was friendly. I would gladly return.

10/03/2025: Salve, piatti buoni e ben serviti. Antipasto buono ma povero per quantità abbiamo preso 2 taglieri di crostini verdi e sono arrivati una fetta di pane tagliata a metà con funghi e una con verdure tritate, ossia 4 mezze fette per tagliere. Altri due taglieri misti di affettati, dove c'era solo una mezza fetta di fegatini e mezza ai funghi per tagliere, molto poco direi. I primi molto buoni e con porzioni nella media. Abbondante il piatto di pollo fritto.

02/03/2025: Locale tradizionale. Abbiamo pranzato ieri ordinando un tagliere di affettati(4,50€)e crostini(3,50€) e cinque primi tra tortelli di patate(10€), pappardelle alle lepre (12€), gnocchi al gorgonzola (10€) e pappa al pomodoro (8,50€). I primi sono stati tutti apprezzati per qualità e quantità. Ottimi anche i dolci (4€). Servizio cortese e rapido.

24/05/2025: A place immersed in greenery just below Piazzale Michelangelo. The environment is very reminiscent of a garden and the atmosphere is suitable for both large tables and more special and intimate dinners. The staff is competent and always very kind, much appreciated the fact that they explain the dishes you ordered.

19/05/2025: Ho cenato in questo posto da sola e mi sono trovata benissimo. Il ristorante è in una zona a traffico limitato con pochi parcheggi, ma poco prima della ZTL ci sono molte zone dove parcheggiare. AMBIENTE : ristorante che sa di vera trattoria, semplice ma molto pulito. Zona d'ingresso con il bancone e la cassa e poi si accede all'ampia sala con molti tavolini adeguatamente distanziati. La cucina non è a vista ma si intravede dalla sala da pranzo. Nonostante questo non c'è odore di mangiare in sale. In un angolo, ben distante dai tavoli, c'è il bagno, anch'esso pulito. SERVIZIO : il personale è stato gentilissimo. CIBO: essendo sola non ho fatto grandi assaggi, ma la ribollita era fantastica!!! Ed il filetto con le patate cotto al punto giusto, al sangue, senza che la parte interna fosse fredda. Assolutamente soddisfatta !!!prima di uscire ho fatto i complimenti in cucina. RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO : assolutamente ottimo GIUDIZIO COMPLESSIVO : Ci tornerei oggi stesso. Forse non ci farei un banchetto nuziale, ma una cena aziendale sì (ovviamente se non si lavora per una grande maison)

15/05/2025: Small restaurant, simple and well-kept furnishings, kind and knowledgeable staff. Fast service. Typical Florentine cuisine, the real one, not the touristy one! Excellent raw materials, I ate the groppa al pecorino and fried artichokes ... excellent. Honest prices. Highly recommended!

30/04/2025: Selezione di salumi squisiti e deliziosi fiori di zucca fritti, ottimi i pici al ragù di chianina e da menzione speciale i ravioli verdi, fatti a mano, ripieni di fave, menta e ricotta su fonduta di pecorino di grotta, delicati ma con gusto grazie alla fonduta. Locale caratteristico con arredamento in arte povera d'effetto. Servizio cortese e il gestore si è dimostrato attento e anche molto simpatico.

05/05/2025: Report after 3 evenings in which we ate here: - high prices for a restaurant; - absolutely unprofessional staff, given that almost every evening they got the order for our table wrong; - rude and chauvinist elderly waiter, luckily he was only there one evening, but that evening he looked and spoke all the time only with my boyfriend, he didn't consider me in the slightest... is this how we behave in 2025?

28/02/2025: Excellent takeaway pizza! I ordered a margherita and a diavola, both delicious. The dough is light and crunchy, and although it was takeaway, it arrived hot and perfect.

The crust was perfectly crunchy, but at the same time soft at the right point, with an authentic flavor that immediately recalled tradition. Fresh, high-quality ingredients enhanced every bite, from the stringy mozzarella to the rich, delicately flavored tomato sauce. The combination of toppings was balanced and well thought out, making each piece irresistible. If you are a pizza lover, this is definitely an option not to be missed. An authentic delight that will make you want to come back immediately!
