The atmosphere is pleasant. I ate the osso buco and the penne alla fiorentina. And for dessert, the tiramisu. They were all wonderful.

The food portions are a bit small for the price, but it's tasty. It's not amazing, at least not what I ordered, but the service is very good. They charge a cover charge, I think, and well, I don't know, I mean, yes, but something was missing. If you're in the area, it's good, but not extraordinary.

Best meal I have tried yet in Florence and we absolutely loved our server Kamilla! She was so funny, organized and in charge- she made it very simple for our large group of 8 to eat dinner and order separately. The place was packed by 9pm. I tried the special - Spaghetti Allo Scoglio with mussels and clams, a light tomato and garlic sauce- it was so delicious- I licked my bowl clean. The Florentine steak, eggplant pasta and Cacio I Pepe was also wonderful. This is a family owned and operated authentic restaurant off the beaten path of the touristy places more towards the center of Florence. I highly recommend! Thanks Kamilla for the great evening!!

Typical restaurant serving excellent Florentine cuisine with top-quality products. The staff is fantastic and the owners are very friendly. Pippo is great. Very good prices.

Small, welcoming, and well-run. Excellent products and very tasty dishes. Tonight they even served warm bread, which was spectacular with the cold cuts, and the pappardelle were excellent.

We hadn’t booked and were found the last table by a friendly staff member, maybe the manager? Lovely food and ambience, but the evening was spoiled somewhat by the rude server we had at our table. It obviously wasn’t personal, as we overheard the same attitude on either side of our table. Managed to overcome the desire to walk out by making light of it with a friendly couple sat next to us, that had a similar experience. Shame, as wouldn’t return, and could have been a much better visit.

06/05/2026: A small trattoria away from the tourist crowds, offering traditional Tuscan cuisine. The ingredients are excellent and the portions are generous. The service is fast and friendly, making you feel right at home. Excellent value. We'll definitely return for our next trip to Florence!
05/05/2026: Had the penne bolognese! Best dish I had after a month in Europe. It's a tiny place with great service and an amazing atmosphere. Don't miss this spot!
