20/03/2026: Excellent food, impeccable service!!! The best is the dessert... THE BABÀ is not a dessert but an emotion!!! For me it is a spectacle!!!!! Well done, keep it up!

14/03/2026: Italian Americans from NYC here; we fell in love with Torrione and the family that owns it. In our 5 days in Tuscany staying at Palazzo San Lorenzo we came here 3 times. It is by far the most reasonably priced restaurant in the area, and we had a life-changing pizza (it had fresh mozz di búfala, Tuscan sausage & fried eggplant). Ignore the dumb things people said in other reviews, if you like good home cooking at a good price come here.

02/01/2026: We went for New Year's Eve dinner. We ate à la carte. The fried cod appetizer cost €16. It was 3/4 of an artichoke and 2 pieces of fish so small they didn't even need cutting. The first courses were very good, both the spaghetti and the risotto. The Milanese cutlet was pathetic, salty, dry, and tasteless. The cheek was very good, as was the fish, although I don't know what kind of fish it was. The zuppa inglese should be renamed; it was a two-tone pudding that had nothing to do with zuppa inglese. The worst coffee I've had in 50 years. The wine was very good, the service excellent, and the tables were well spaced for privacy. Nice atmosphere.

01/01/2026: Dinner for December 31st was simply exceptional, delicious, seafood-based, and everything was excellent. Best wishes to everyone. It was a very pleasant surprise. We'll be back without a doubt. 🎊🌲🎊🥳🎉 The service, the quality of the food, and everything else were top marks. Both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. Thank you for everything, truly from the heart ❤️.

22/12/2025: This year, we decided to celebrate our son's birthday at the club again, and we were impressed by the quality of the services and the facilities. The club boasts multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, available depending on the type of event, and an excellent catering service, attentive and able to provide alternatives based on any food intolerances and/or allergies. The club also boasts playing fields (tennis, paddle tennis, and five-a-side football) that can be rented, as was the case with our five-a-side football field, for a birthday party. The professionalism of all the staff and the quality of the services offered were appreciated by our guests, so much so that they have chosen the club for future birthday parties. 08/02/2026: Saturday evening dinner at 7:30 PM. A historic establishment, documented since 1760. The welcoming rooms are like a true trattoria, with wood-burning fireplaces. Typical Lucca cuisine. We enjoyed excellent tortelli and tasty rovelline, as well as sautéed rapini, which smelled like home. The apple tart with two creams was excellent. Recommended. I've attached the menu, which unfortunately shows the price increase compared to two years ago (example: tortelli from €10 to €14!) that has affected all restaurants.

10/01/2026: We were passing through and stopped at this restaurant for lunch. We were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. The restaurant is charming, quaint, rustic, yet well-maintained. We ate very well: homemade, traditional dishes, all very good at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it; there are few places like this left these days!

18/03/2026: Excellent pizza, the two girls were very kind, but I was alone, so they should take the extra covers away; the huge bathroom is worth a visit. The ham and coke pizza cost €13.50. Unfortunately, the lighting is terrible: a very bright, cold light practically above your heads, not only is it annoying and counter to any romantic moment, but it's downright dazzling. It also clashes with the beautiful wooden furnishings.

20/01/2026: A lovely place for a meal with friends, with a wide and varied menu and impeccable service. Prices are reasonable. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

29/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant and the experience was truly excellent in every way. The place is beautiful, welcoming, and well-kept, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was simply excellent: we started with a charcuterie board and crostini, both of great quality and truly delicious. For our first course, we chose ravioli stuffed with Pienza pecorino cheese and creamed spinach, which were exceptional, delicate, creamy, and rich in flavor—probably the dish that impressed us the most for its balance and deliciousness. The rosemary tagliata, tender and flavorful, was equally impeccable. To conclude, an excellent tiramisu. A restaurant we absolutely recommend and will gladly return to.

12/04/2026: Here's a more polished and clear version of your review, maintaining the critical tone but with a more structured approach: — I'm giving it three stars mainly because of the presentation and because, overall, the food was tasty. However, in terms of value for money, it leaves much to be desired. The dishes arrived cold, and the portions were very small: my companion ordered pappardelle and they only served five pieces, which is insufficient. Furthermore, the service was extremely slow, as there was apparently only one person serving the entire restaurant. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing.

10/04/2026: Entered empty terrace to get a drink, told we had to sit away from the view watching staff eat a sandwich, so left strange choice to turn down customers I would avoid this place personally. Nice view though.
