05/11/2025: We celebrated our daughter's confirmation because we'd been there before and always enjoyed it. Excellent value for money, attentive and welcoming service. The place is also worth a visit during the day, with a beautiful view of the valley and a small adjacent village perfect for a stroll.

20/10/2025: I had the mixed grill, excellent! Not just for show, but truly exceptional quality. The place is beautiful, the owners are friendly, I highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: Super cute patio dining with lights in a little piazza. We happened on this place on a little stroll across the Ponte Vecchio. We had pasta with pear and the best filet of steak I have ever had in my life. It wasn’t bistec fiorentina but it was still suuuuuper rare, which I love!!! Melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. I will dream about for weeks! I will, without a doubt, return for that steak.

03/11/2025: Excellent location in the center. I recommend the Florentine steak, excellent meat, and you could smell the aroma of the grill, perfectly cooked. Prices are typical of a local restaurant in the center. Friendly staff.

31/10/2025: The food was good, perhaps a tad pricey for my taste. It's the only option if you're running late in Lucca because it closes very late. Even so, their pasta is excellent.

29/08/2025: Absolutely amazing experience. The waitstaff were incredibly professional and the level of detail with every step of their process was impeccable. The wine list is fantastic. Many underrated wineries on there, and the food was homely but faultless.

20/08/2025: The food was great!! Love the location. They were pretty short staffed when we were there hence the lowered stars in service.

17/10/2025: Very noisy environment. There's a lot of hype surrounding the restaurant, but it doesn't deliver on its promises. The ingredients are of good quality, but the preparation lacks care and sensitivity. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was flavorless. The steak tartare came completely unseasoned—I've never had it like that. Furthermore, if you ask for olive oil or cheese, the servers pour it directly onto your plate and then scoop it away, making it impossible to help yourself. I certainly don't recommend it and won't be back.

16/10/2025: An absolutely perfect place! Delicious food, a lovely owner, and a great atmosphere. Every dish was perfectly composed and beautifully presented. This is how a Michelin-starred restaurant experience should be, and La Bucaccia fully deserves it.

31/10/2025: A delightful, small, and quaint place, a great place to eat. I had a mixed antipasto, delicious Lucchese ravioli with ragù, and a fried egg with truffle. The waiters were very kind and always smiling. Always a pleasure to dine here during Comics, highly recommended.

28/10/2025: An intimate place full of details to observe and notice. Both the chef and the waiter are truly friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it. They have a dedicated menu page for their mushroom dishes, which are super delicious.

01/11/2025: Everything we ate was delicious...the young employee who served us was excellent, friendly, and always smiling. The owners, on the other hand, were less cheerful and empathetic.

22/10/2025: A lovely atmosphere in this restaurant specializing in wines, with tastings available. The meal is authentic; we recommend the wild boar pasta! A very pleasant and authentic experience. The server was very helpful and friendly.

11/11/2025: The T-bone steak was delicious, too! The truffle pasta was also good. I ordered the T-bone steak well-done so I could share it with my child. The waiter at AMMAR also served tiramisu, which was delicious. We came here after the Korean Chuseok holiday, so there weren't many people, and we had a leisurely meal. There wasn't any particular discrimination or hospitality, but I didn't mind. We're making good memories. You can also get a 20% discount if you book through the fork app.

10/11/2025: The restaurant is so pretty and the atmosphere is wonderful. The T-bone steak was absolutely delicious. It was the best steak I've had since coming to Italy! Our host, Xhuljono, was so pleasant and kind. Thanks to him, I had a wonderful experience. Thank you!

27/10/2025: A very characteristic restaurant in Sant'Ambrogio, serving traditional cuisine, excellent in its simplicity. What makes the difference is the warm welcome and the atmosphere created by the owner. Signora Gilda, elegant and refined, manages to put you at ease and make you feel at home even though you're far from home. A must-visit in Florence, I recommend it 100%. P.S. The tagliatelle are amazing.

05/04/2025: In questa osteria trovi il cibo genuino come una volta, il tortello mugellano di qualità eccellente, porzioni generose e attenzione verso il cliente. I prezzi sono veramente onesti, come non si trovano più da nessuna parte. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile con i nostri figli, ci ha persino regalato un pezzo di crostata a testa per far fare loro merenda! Se ci troveremo nuovamente nella zona ci fermeremo senza ombra di dubbio! Super consigliato!

17/11/2025: We ordered both the meat and fish courses separately. I think I ate six plates for over two hours, and they were so abundant that I wondered when they would end. The amuse-bouche was incredibly salty, but the other dishes were delicious. I also tried pigeon for the first time, and the sauce smelled a bit off-putting, but it was okay. The tiramisu was truly delicious. They asked for a tip when paying, which was a bit much, and since we live in a country where tipping isn't a culture, I felt a little bad about it.

10/11/2025: Upon entering the restaurant, the entrance has an amazing walkway of fairy lights that make for an amazing photo. Once through, the dining room abruptly starts and you are left standing there confused until one of the waiters acknowledges you to seat you. On the night we went, there were only two other tables and we were placed next to the entrance such that we couldn't see into the kitchen. That night, they were training a waiter so we had a weird experience of one waiter with amazing service and attentiveness and another where you would not expect for fine dining (Not pouring water for you, not explaining the dishes, not cleaning up the plates and table after each dish etc.). Apart from that, food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed each meal. We opted to select one meat and one seafood course so that we could try one of each dish. Each course brilliantly highlights the local Tuscan cuisine so you won't miss out whatever you choose. Given the restaurant is of such a high calibre, we were expecting both the service and food to be perfect. This was probably a once-off issue but unfortunately was our experience coming all the way from Australia looking forward to fine dining in Italy!

10/11/2025: Excellent value. Small and quiet place just a few meters from Piazza dei Cavalieri and a 5-minute walk from the tower.
