22/04/2026: Went to Buca Mario because it was one of the tik tok brain rot restaurants that came across my feed. My bill was absolutely insane for two people, in total it was about $250. The food tasted fine compared to other restaurants in the area, my only issue is that the Florentine gave me food poisoning. I sat for dinner last night at 8PM, it’s noon time now the day after and I’m sick to my stomach vomiting with diarrhea. Supposed to check out of my hotel in twenty minutes and I can’t even get off of the bathroom floor. I feel like I was literally ruined by this place, if that is a risk your willing to take this place is it.

22/04/2026: Excellent food! Especially the lasagna. The desserts are all delicious, too. Reservations are essential! The service was quick, friendly, and accommodating. 100% recommendation.

28/03/2026: A charming place with a welcoming local staff. Food was great, we tried the stew and the ossbuko (veal) it was rich and just perfect.

28/03/2026: An excellent osteria, serving traditional flavors in a traditional Tuscan osteria setting. The menu is extensive and everything is worth trying. The ingredients are excellent, and the value is excellent. We'll definitely return.

15/03/2026: Very welcoming place. The first courses were good (not exceptionally good), including the wild boar pici, the truffle pici, and the tagliatelle with tomato sauce. The large platter was just adequate. Prices are in line with the location. Definitely recommended, but room for improvement.

05/03/2026: Our intuition led us to this village, which seemed to beckon from the road, inviting us to climb up and explore it. It seemed even more special when we saw it, and the Osenna cantina (Omar) was truly special. The young man who served us was a wonderful person, and the places and people there made our visit even more memorable. Without a doubt, it was an extraordinary experience, and I'll take away wonderful memories.

26/01/2026: I organized a surprise dinner for my wife's birthday. Luca immediately made himself available to organize and manage the guests' various allergies and dietary needs. We easily agreed on the menu, wine, and table settings, and every need was met. During the evening, everything ran perfectly: the beautiful location in the vaulted brick room was reserved exclusively for us, and the attention and service were excellent. The food was enjoyed by everyone, and the food issues were handled with excellence. Expectations were not only met but definitely exceeded. Thank you and congratulations! We will definitely be back this spring to enjoy the outdoor seating. P.S.: The ricotta and spinach tortellacci with oil, pepper, and pecorino cheese were EXTREMELY EXCELLENT!!!

24/10/2025: Food was well prepared and wel proportioned, our waiter was very kind and attentive. And the view is out of this world. Highly recommended. Just don't trust Google maps if you're coming in from the south because it wants to send you down a 5 km tractor path. It's not suitable for even tractors. I turned around about a 100 ft in and found a different route.

22/10/2025: A special thank you to Jerry for a wonderful evening. We decided at short notice to have dinner at La Forra. Even though we didn't have a reservation, a table was quickly prepared for us. As on a previous visit, the food was excellent. The duck breast and the beef (from our own farm) are highly recommended. As a side dish, I highly recommend the roasted cauliflower with almonds and berries. A fantastic experience. The service that evening was absolutely perfect. Attentive and extremely friendly. An excellent grappa and a pleasant conversation with our host rounded off the evening. Thank you very much!

07/04/2026: We went on Easter Monday, and despite the large number of tables and people, we ate divinely and drank even better, with excellent value. The appetizers, first courses, and meat were excellent. We discovered they have a strong focus on fish, and we'll be back to try the seafood. The owner was incredibly kind, and the waiters were quick and friendly. And all of this in the enchanting setting of San Gimignano. Breathtaking.

06/04/2026: Everything was very good. Pici crostini with black cabbage and lard. Mixed fried chicken, rabbit, and vegetables. Wine prices were a little above average. The vacuum cleaner wasn't working properly and soaked my clothes. Otherwise, everything was fine.

28/02/2026: Located in Croci di Calenzano, about 6-7 minutes from the Barberino outlet. Nicely decorated, warm welcome, and great service. The scamorza and truffle crostoni, the cacio pepe and truffle pici, the pici with duck sauce, the fillet and sliced ​​fried potatoes, and the excellent quality/price ratio are excellent. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. We returned to try the fritto misto, tortelli with duck white sauce, and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious. Congratulations. 08/04/2026: Amazing dinner! We ordered the pici ragù, spaghetti with shallots and asparagus, steak with peppercorns and had tiramisu for dessert! Not to mention a great bottle of wine! We brought our 2 month old son in his stroller and the staff was very accommodating. Absolutely recommend.

01/04/2026: It has a higher Google rating than it deserves, at least in my opinion. If you're hungry as you leave the cathedral, you'll want to go in, but the food is just okay, bordering on poor. The prices are average, but after spending a few days in Tuscany, you appreciate the quality you can get for the same price. You don't get that quality here.

09/03/2026: I wasn't familiar with this place, but the pictures immediately piqued my interest. The location is truly charming, surrounded by greenery and boasting a breathtaking view. Not to mention the food: the house antipasto, pici with ragù and truffle, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and, of course, we couldn't miss the meat, with a 1.3 kg buttera. Everything was delicious and a truly excellent value.
