05/08/2025: Pochi piatti ma molto ben cucinati, atmosfera familiare e un oste che ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Prezzi alti ma in linea con lo standard di Pienza: molto gradito il liquore finale…. ci facciamo uno Spinello? 😁 Ci tornerei anche domani!

31/07/2025: Ambiente gradevole e personale molto gentile menù molto limitato e prezzi esosi. Pici all'aglione buoni ma non abbondanti e un prezzo elevato (18 euro). Una lattina di Coca Cola 5 euro, un bicchiere di vino della casa 8 euro. Non lo consiglio nè ci tornerei.

02/01/2026: Terrible New Year's Eve dinner forced as we were staying at the Relais Santa Margherita at the moment there were 8 of us outside temperature 2° in the room -5° 🙈

01/01/2026: 🌲 An Authentic Gem in the Buggiano Hills. We visited on New Year's Eve. If you're looking for the true essence of Tuscan cuisine—rich in flavors, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a touch of magic—Trattoria Antico Colle is a must-see. Located in the charming town of Colle di Buggiano, the venue welcomes you with the timeless charm of ancient stone structures, beamed ceilings, and a rustic atmosphere enhanced by thoughtful details (the Christmas decorations are beautiful!). The Peposo con Polenta is simply extraordinary. The tender and flavorful meat pairs perfectly with the creamy polenta, creating Tuscan comfort food of the highest caliber. The service is courteous and makes you feel immediately at home, surrounded by the warmth of the wood and the history that permeates every room. A big hug to Chef Andrea and his family!!!

18/01/2026: A historic restaurant opened 70 years ago. It's still family-run for generations. Recently renovated.

14/12/2025: Large, bright restaurant with a varied and extensive menu and excellent food quality. Prices aren't the cheapest, but it's a great setting for business dinners and large gatherings.

04/01/2026: The place is very nice, all in typical Umbrian stone. The service was friendly but quick; they served our first courses while we were still eating our appetizers. Then we waited a bit for dessert, I think because it was crowded. The appetizers weren't great, but the first courses were plentiful and good, especially the pici all'aglione. The cappelli del prete were good, but a few more minutes of cooking would have been excellent. Prices were normal.

01/01/2026: Lots of people, poor service... slow and imprecise, but the food is good. Improve your timing and accuracy, and this place will be top-notch.

06/01/2026: A classy restaurant, with excellent cuisine and service. Overall, the food was good: the risotto was excellent, but the meat was a bit tough. However, there was no final attention, such as a pre-dessert or a small pastry, which are usually found in establishments of this caliber. I must also report an unpleasant incident: I left cash at the checkout, but my €15 change was never returned. When I asked for it, the waiter said he thought it was "for them." At that point, I pointed out that he would have to bring me the change back if necessary, and that only then would I decide whether or not to tip (and, in any case, how much). Despite this, he continued to be vague, so I let it go. A misunderstanding that partially ruined the experience and something I don't expect from a place of this caliber.

02/01/2026: The atmosphere is exclusive and very intimate with excellent service. The dining experience was a little less positive, with limited choices: either a tasting menu (five courses or three courses). In my case, despite having previously reported a lactose intolerance (and the reservation requires a €100 credit card hold), upon arrival I was informed that the five-course menu was not available due to my intolerance, forcing me to choose the three-course menu, which, being very small, was not enough to qualify as a complete dinner. Overall, given the total cost, the variety of the menu, and the overall satisfaction, I would not recommend it.

04/05/2025: Piccolo locale nel centro di Arezzo. Abbiamo cenato nei tavoli all' esterno. Vino ottimo, molto buoni i pici con ragù di chianina. Prezzi onesti e personale molto gentile.

14/02/2026: We had dinner here on Valentine's Day. We were told the dishes were very generous, and they were, but if you're hungry, the fresh pasta is wonderful. We had the pickles with Chianina ragù and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and truffle. WONDERFUL! For our main course, we chose the pork with prunes, and that also got top marks. The meat was as tender as butter, and the sauce was generous and delicious. We topped it all off with an excellent house Montepulciano and a delicious zuppa inglese. The price was truly excellent, considering we ate until we were full and only spent €60. We left happy and content! We'll be back!

22/10/2025: The atmosphere is intimate, the service is fast, and the food is excellent and plentiful, at least for me personally (try the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and Tuscan crostini). A good selection of first and second courses.

30/10/2025: Fiorentina is always Fiorentina. Mine may not have been exceptional, but it was excellent nonetheless. The wait was a bit long, but the venue was spectacular. The house wine was excellent. A very positive note: they don't have cell phone reception. Divine. Best regards, the guardian cat. See you soon.

23/01/2026: My wife and I went for lunch... a unique, welcoming atmosphere... we had a decent prosciutto appetizer... my wife ordered the picci with black truffle and Cinta Senesi, which were delicious... I ordered the beans all'uccelletto with sausage... I had to eat them cold, bland, without garlic or sage... with unpulped tomatoes... perhaps It's a recipe from an unknown country... avoid it.

13/09/2025: Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery, and upon entry, the inviting yet unobtrusive smell of grilled meat fills the air. The cellar is well-stocked, and during this time of year, mushrooms galore, beautifully pan-fried and grilled caps.
