23/01/2026: My wife and I went for lunch... a unique, welcoming atmosphere... we had a decent prosciutto appetizer... my wife ordered the picci with black truffle and Cinta Senesi, which were delicious... I ordered the beans all'uccelletto with sausage... I had to eat them cold, bland, without garlic or sage... with unpulped tomatoes... perhaps It's a recipe from an unknown country... avoid it.

26/01/2026: I organized a surprise dinner for my wife's birthday. Luca immediately made himself available to organize and manage the guests' various allergies and dietary needs. We easily agreed on the menu, wine, and table settings, and every need was met. During the evening, everything ran perfectly: the beautiful location in the vaulted brick room was reserved exclusively for us, and the attention and service were excellent. The food was enjoyed by everyone, and the food issues were handled with excellence. Expectations were not only met but definitely exceeded. Thank you and congratulations! We will definitely be back this spring to enjoy the outdoor seating. P.S.: The ricotta and spinach tortellacci with oil, pepper, and pecorino cheese were EXTREMELY EXCELLENT!!!

The atmosphere is inviting, the dishes are always well-crafted, and the ingredients are excellent. 18/03/2026: I returned after years because, alas, personal circumstances have long kept me away from this magnificent restaurant—in terms of distance, I mean. But I've never forgotten the teenage evenings I spent here. Not to brag, but I helped create the name of the pizza, "Sporta di Serafino," because I always ordered this custom pizza. Eventually, the owner added it to the menu because her father, Serafino, exclaimed when ordering, "Hey, they want a Sporta here!" (which is like a saddlebag in Cortona dialect). 😊 A restaurant well-known and beloved in the Cortona area and my hometown of Lake Trasimeno. A historic venue with stone walls, very convivial and ideal for both intimate dinners and large business dinners, etc. The place is well-maintained, clean, and hygienic. If we were to find a flaw, the parking lot was a bit inconvenient and not very large, but it's not a big deal, since there's plenty of free space further up the street. The staff was efficient, very kind, and friendly. I, of course, had a "Sporta di Serafino" pizza (which I'll post in a photo), a portion of fries, a profiteroles, and a medium glass of Coke and bottled sparkling water. Everything was always authentic, tasty, and prepared to perfection. The cost was €30, so it's fair. A special shout out to all the staff, and I hope to see you soon. ❤️

14/02/2026: We had dinner here on Valentine's Day. We were told the dishes were very generous, and they were, but if you're hungry, the fresh pasta is wonderful. We had the pickles with Chianina ragù and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and truffle. WONDERFUL! For our main course, we chose the pork with prunes, and that also got top marks. The meat was as tender as butter, and the sauce was generous and delicious. We topped it all off with an excellent house Montepulciano and a delicious zuppa inglese. The price was truly excellent, considering we ate until we were full and only spent €60. We left happy and content! We'll be back!

08/12/2025: This restaurant has not only the best pasta I have had in Italy but the kindest owners! One of the several times I dined here I accidentally arrived 15 minutes before open, regardless they greeted me with kindness, serving me bread and water even before open. I cannot recommend this place enough!

30/10/2025: Fiorentina is always Fiorentina. Mine may not have been exceptional, but it was excellent nonetheless. The wait was a bit long, but the venue was spectacular. 23/03/2026: They open at 19:00 on Monday. Without a reservation, we arrived at 18:45 and were ahead of two groups (one with a reservation, one without). We managed to snag one of the last two tables for four. Because our order didn't include an appetizer or first course, the wait for our food was quite long. (The waiter seemed very nervous, as the table was practically empty except for wine and bread...) The vinegar served with the bread was delicious. Overall, the meal was good (but we didn't order the T-bone steak, as it was too big, although the sliced ​​beef was the best I had in Italy this time). Unfortunately, we ordered the wrong thing – the large asparagus. (I saw others with huge asparagus). Speaking of which, upon entering, the waiters and manager seemed very serious and had sour faces. After sitting for a while, I realized that Italians are like that; you have to spend a little time with them before they'll show you a lot of different expressions. Even if your English is terrible, it's okay; they're actually very nice and will patiently ask you questions.

23/03/2026: Went here with my husband when we visited Florence. Best food, service and overall experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I can’t recommend this place enough!
