04/04/2025: Excellent experience We had dinner yesterday at this restaurant recommended by Sienese friends, and we were really impressed! It is clear that this is not a tourist restaurant, but a place frequented by locals, which in itself is an excellent guarantee of quality. I chose the chicken neck, a rare dish to find but truly exquisite and rich in flavour. My husband had the guinea fowl tortelli, an equally tasty dish. Then we shared a Florentine which was simply spectacular!!!! Excellent quality meat and perfect cooking. We will definitely be back!

03/04/2025: Old Florentine restaurant with old-fashioned decor and the frames of all the famous guests who have passed through the place. Very good grilled meat. Small downside for the potato accompaniment.

27/10/2024: Dopo 2 anni siamo tornati e devo dire che il livello si è ulteriormente alzato, tanto da dare personalmente alla chef 10mestolini e una sola parola a pranzo tutto Eccezionale,bravi continuate così 🎯

30/09/2024: Sono tornato dopo 3 anni, e ho trovato questo meraviglioso luogo ancora una volta a livelli strepitosi. Una delle eccellenze della Toscana, senza dubbio. Tagliatelle ai funghi speciali, filetto con funghi, tartufo e pecorino idem. Chef super, ma anche il maitre in sala è un professionista straordinario, bravi tutti!

27/02/2025: Had a delicious meal at Il Porrina. Very friendly service. The pizza, among other things, was very good. Furthermore, the filetto di manzo was good and the lasagna was very tasty. Wine list with nice choice. Il Porrina is highly recommended. Definitely worth repeating. Parking at the bottom (parking) of the village. Walk to the restaurant. Advantage: you have immediately seen the entire village. Very beautiful.

03/02/2025: Si tratta di chi ha la fortuna di aver creato un ambiente carino improvvisandosi cuoco, cercando di massimizzare i profitti a discapito degli altri, credono con un'affettarice, un fuoco e due fornelli di poter fare ristorazione. Finché dura fa verdura dicono in campagna, un consiglio...fatevelo durare perché con noi avete chiuso. Bisogna volersi bene non metterselo........

08/12/2024: Family-run restaurant, therefore simple and welcoming, with an external veranda that can be used in summer. Traditional cuisine, more than generous portions. Excellent price/quality ratio. Even though I ate a very substantial meal, I didn't have any digestion problems. I will definitely come back.

27/02/2025: Typical restaurant, with various rooms, reservations required, excellent service, decent food quality, I didn't appreciate the fact that the meat is served only blood, I understand that for the steak it would be heresy to serve the Florentine steak not rare but having to impose a single cooking on the customer even for the fillet I don't find "democratic". Furthermore, their bottled house wine didn't excite me as well as the crostini with livers in my opinion not very aromatic, you could smell the innards a lot.

26/02/2025: Recommended by a friend, we went to this restaurant with the intention of tasting typical Florentine cuisine. The visual impact is pleasant, there are several rooms, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly and the service was excellent for the entire duration of the dinner. The mixed starter is very good, consisting of really excellent Tuscan crostini although I prefer the coarser texture of the liver, very good local cured meats and a fresh and pleasant spelled salad. Having never tasted (I regret and regret) either ribollita or pappa al pomodoro, we ordered both and were truly enthusiastic, everything was delicious and the dishes were as clean as if they came out of the dishwasher. The second courses chosen are the peposo and the stracotto, with a side dish of roasted potatoes and beans all'uccelletto, both excellent. The peposo cut of meat is the priest's hat, which I love. Meat cooked very well and very tender, it falls apart just by looking at it, but I warn you about the sauce which is really difficult due to the amount of pepper: it is for strong palates! The stew is really good, nothing to say. Not being wine experts, we opted for the classic house wine, Chianti, which satisfied us. At the end of the meal we chatted with the young owners, who informed us about the family management, something we really appreciated. Congratulations indeed, we will definitely be back!

12/01/2025: Pranzo domenicale ottimo, antipasti con crostini misti buonissimi, pappaal pomodoro rivisitata con stracciatella, a seguire risotto di zucca con taleggio e cavolo nero, poi filetto lardellato con profumo di albicocca e rolle' di galletto con fegatini e prugne, vino locale il Morino piacevolissimo consigliato da uno dei proprietari, servizio e pulizia perfetti! Avevo un pochino freddo e gentilmente ci hanno spostati al tavolo vicino al caminetto. Rapporto qualità/ prezzo ottimo! Consigliatissimo!

You can eat traditional dishes but also more modern combinations. It has an excellent variety of wines that the owner recommends with care and competence. The service is very attentive and helpful.
