12/04/2025: Locale storico e se è una vita che c'è un motivo ci sarà, sennò Ve lo spiego io. Ambiente familiare, dove vieni accolto non come un cliente ma come un ospite, antipasto di salumi ottimo, che stimola l'appetito, poi tortelli veramente notevoli, pasta fine e ben farcita e poi un bel cinghiale in umido che anche lui aveva il suo perché. Per terminare un tiramisù vero, cremoso e ben fatto. Alzati sazi e soddisfatti! Non si può chiedere altro.....

06/04/2025: Ero da solo sabato 5 aprile, ho preso un piatto di ravioli al ragù di cinghiale, un cinghiale in umido con patatine fritte, una zuppa inglese, il tutto accompagnato con una bottiglia d'acqua e un quartino di vino rosso. Prezzo totale 37 euro. Cucina semplice, casalinga, ma tutto buono.

19/04/2025: My wife and I went there for lunch and the place looks very nice, with a beautiful view at the roof garden. The fritelle di pecorino (starter) and tortellini di pecorino (first course) was both amazing! Unfortunately, we also ordered the tagliolini al tartufo which was tasteless, lacked seasoning. This was very disappointing and I expected better quality, considering the price of the restaurant. Couple drinking one glass of wine each, starters plus the main dishes (107€). Despite of the tagliolini al tartufo, I absolutely recommend the other dishes, the service is very decent and fast.

19/04/2025: My husband and I had a reservation for this restaurant but ended up showing up about an hour early since we were in the area. They were extremely kind and accommodating and allowed us to dine early. The menu is definitely truffle-focused, but don't let that distract you from the other foods. The spicy rigatoni is incredible, and the wild boar stew is definitely an underrated item on the menu. We also ordered the steak tartare and the cheesecake, both of which were amazing. The service was also extremely attentive and offered great options for wine. When they ran out of the wine my husband was drinking, they literally went and got more. I'm surprised the reviews aren't higher for this place as I found it to be highly recommended outside of Google, but overall we had an awesome experience and it was probably our favorite dinner in Florence.

20/11/2024: Per una cena di famiglia in un freddo lunedì sera ci siamo fermati in questo locale… Siamo rimasti tutti molto soddisfatti. I primi piatti erano tutti deliziosi,il ragù bianco delizioso,i ravioli al mascarpone davvero saporiti…anche gli antipastini centrali che abbiamo provato ci hanno deliziati. Insomma se volete provare i sapori e i sentori tipici toscani questa osteria fa il caso vostro! Complimenti

22/03/2025: Realmente disfrutamos de toda la experiencia en Gallo Giallo. El servicio , el ambiente , la comida fue de los mejores que tuvimos en la Toscana . Nuestras dos favoritas fueron la pasta de trufa con carne y pesto ñoquis. Estaban fuera de este mundo. La selección de vinos fue excepcional con uno de los mejores menús de vinos escritos a mano que hemos visto. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para familias, parejas o amigos de noche. No te decepcionarás.

31/03/2025: We arrived at Paiolo at 1pm last Saturday with a reservation for nine people. After a good half hour they came to place the order, at 2.00 pm after an hour of patient waiting nothing had arrived on the table. But the waiter came to tell us that the kitchen was late because they had a table of 60 people to serve!!!!!! But what a stupid excuse if they had this onerous commitment they could do without fixing the table to us. We wait patiently, then someone hungry asks for some flat bread, we are told that it has been sold out.... At 2.30pm the first courses ordered arrive and after two hours we get up from the table to pay a very high bill for what we had eaten. We were treated very badly and will certainly never return to Paiolo again

30/03/2025: Excellent meat, very nice place and friendly staff. The only flaw is too full, there is not the right distance between one table and another.... A real shame!

19/03/2025: This was quite literally the worst service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. As someone with celiacs disease I was so excited for their extensive gluten free menu. Finding gluten free pasta that isn’t the signature gf penne is every gluten free girlies dream!! When my order arrived it was wrong. No big deal. I tried calling the waitress over and she completely ignored me which I thought was strange. I got the attention of another staff member who took the order away and got the waitress. When the waitress came outside to my table she proceeded to scream at me, telling me I was wrong over and over again while everyone in the street and others at the restaurant stared. I didn’t get a single word in from the second she arrived at my table. I was in complete shock that I just sat there and then eventually cried lol. I paid for my drink and left never even getting food. I’ve never been treated like this and I hope this saves you from a similar experience. There are so many beautiful restaurants and kind people in this region. Choose somewhere else. To the waitress I hope your day gets better and whatever you’re going through passes <3

04/04/2025: Excellent experience We had dinner yesterday at this restaurant recommended by Sienese friends, and we were really impressed! It is clear that this is not a tourist restaurant, but a place frequented by locals, which in itself is an excellent guarantee of quality. I chose the chicken neck, a rare dish to find but truly exquisite and rich in flavour. My husband had the guinea fowl tortelli, an equally tasty dish. Then we shared a Florentine which was simply spectacular!!!! Excellent quality meat and perfect cooking. We will definitely be back!

03/04/2025: Old Florentine restaurant with old-fashioned decor and the frames of all the famous guests who have passed through the place. Very good grilled meat. Small downside for the potato accompaniment.
