We were hiking from Marciana Marina and randomly stopped here for lunch. Such a good decision. We had the fish balls as a starter, pasta with anchovies, and paccheri with squid and shrimp. Everything was seriously so good. We kept saying this was probably the best food we had on Elba. The staff was super friendly, prices were fair, and the whole place just had really nice vibes. We also had the cake with fresh fruit for dessert and loved it. Would 100% come back.

Amazing - the pici with cod were the best I've ever had, and the paccheri with squid and shrimp were also amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was homey and welcoming. I'd go back tomorrow!

I'm updating my review: We returned in December 2025, between Christmas and New Year's, to experience a quieter Elba. We were delighted to eat at Cacio e Vino again and enjoy the passion and love with which their dishes are prepared. Thank you for the long chat; it was lovely chatting with you! :) _______ August 2025 - We stopped for a quick pizza and pasta. The owners were very kind. Perfect location.

12/08/2026: Rustic location with a beautiful view. The first courses were excellent, but the mixed wild boar appetizer didn't quite convince us (and perhaps wasn't worth the full €20). Reservations are recommended to enjoy the stunning view.
09/08/2026: Wow, what a gem of a place! My daughters were able to play undisturbed and we had a truly fantastic meal. The meat was of perfect quality and the lasagna perfect. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was sold out, but above all, what a lovely place with incredibly friendly service.

07/08/2026: Me and a friend of mine went to Il Vecchio Frantoio for dinner. We were very happy with the overall experience, especially the service. I ordered all my dishes with tartufo and it was so good! Very recommended!!
