15/07/2026: I Mandri is a wonderful place. Its location ensures that even on the hottest days, you can enjoy a cool, dry climate, so pleasant that it's hard to resist leaving. As for the food, we tried both tortelli and ravioli with various sauces (butter and sage, ragù, wild boar ragù, etc.) and they were all delicious. The fried zucchini flowers and fried mushrooms were also excellent. The steak and desserts were very good. The service was exceptional; there were seven of us and the dining room was full, but we were served with surprising promptness and punctuality. The bill was also a pleasant surprise. During this period, it's advisable to book in advance.

15/07/2026: I stopped in with my wife during a day trip. It's a spacious place surrounded by greenery. There was a group of children (perhaps a summer camp) who made the wait a little more enjoyable. The excellent mushroom risotto was something I'll never forget. A wonderful experience.

04/06/2026: A warm welcome despite our late arrival at 9 pm without a reservation. The food was simple but good. The tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms was a real treat. The owner and the waiter were very friendly. We had a great time. I recommend it.

22/03/2026: We went to eat there because of the reviews and photos of their dishes. Our first visit was a disappointment, and we left very unhappy. The food was very basic, bland, and lacked any care. We ordered their spicy carbonara pasta (which wasn't spicy at all) and pasta with wild boar ragu. Everything was average, edible, but completely lacking in character. We cook and eat better at home. Of course, we won't recommend it. We felt misled by the reviews and photos, and the owners were very cold and unfriendly.

We ate at a table facing a wide selection of (we assume) collectible wines, displayed to frame a simple yet refined setting. We ordered two appetizers (sfocato with confit tomatoes, anchovies, and burrata, a potato and onion millefeuille with a delicious Greek sauce accompanied by the ever-present San Daniele prosciutto), two first courses (maltagliati with wild boar ragù and beetroot gnocchi with venison ragù) accompanied by two glasses of Valpolicella red wine, highly recommended by the very knowledgeable staff (the wine cellar is amazing). The waiters are very friendly and attentive to your needs and requests, and the staff gets a thumbs up. As for the quantity, I must say that it's artisanal cuisine that combines traditional local flavors with top-quality, non-native ingredients (the portions aren't gourmet-style). The price is slightly above average, but you know, quality comes at a price. The restaurant gets a full thumbs up.

25/07/2026: It was a wonderful experience. A meal cooked with care, full of flavor and generous portions. Without a doubt, some of the best food you can eat in Tuscany. Served in a tastefully decorated restaurant. The service was incredibly fast and friendly; they even made an effort to speak Spanish. The price was reasonable for what they offered. The restaurant was comfortable and well-ventilated. They accept credit cards.

22/07/2026: A typical Pistoia restaurant, excellent cuisine, and a warm, friendly atmosphere reign supreme. The homemade picci cacio e pepe are phenomenal.

04/07/2026: We initially came just to taste some Chianti wine without expecting much from the menu, but we ended up being thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and remarkably innovative, and the service was top-notch. Having lunch under the shade of the trees provided the perfect, breezy setting for a hot summer lunch. Highly recommended if you are in the area or touring the Chianti region!

17/06/2026: Fantastic location in the heart of Chianti, where you can eat outside in the summer and inside during the colder months or on rainy summer days. Ample parking. Good food: you can see the high-quality ingredients, but unfortunately, a bit lacking in flavor. I had sweetbreads (a dish that was disjointed and disjointed overall, and rather dry, lacking a sauce) and spaghetti alla chitarra (good overall, but I expected a little more punch from the seafood aspect).
