11/05/2025: Maravillosa cena en Florencia. El personal del restaurante era muy amable y amable. La comida era 10 / 10. El raviolino de queso y pera era excelente y también tuvimos la elección con chianana de res ragù. Todo, desde la comida hasta el servicio y el ambiente era perfecto.

04/05/2025: Esta puede ser una crítica injusta ya que cenamos aquí el Domingo de Pascua. Dicho esto, la moraleja de la historia es que no debe abrir si no puede contar con el personal adecuado. Éramos un grupo de seis y por suerte solo la segunda mesa en llegar. No podía ver en la cocina, pero solo había 2 personas en el comedor, un camarero y que supongo que era el gerente o propietario. El gerente, en su mayoría manejaba al pobre camarero que literalmente corría de una mesa a otra. Nunca se entregaban aperitivos y los platos principales salían al azar. La comida estaba bien, pero nada sobre él notable.

16/06/2025: My first experience at the restaurant was in 2017 where I was literally seduced and left me with that sweet desire to return. Unfortunately this year I repeated the experience but with the opposite outcome. Could it be that at this juncture the famous Michele, the then owner or manager, having sold/passed the business to others, something has changed?

01/06/2025: We just arrived to Tuscany that day and we were so tired and hungry from driving, and we stopped at the first driveway to find something to eat, and it was the driveway to this restaurant. At first I was afraid it was a Michelin star restaurant, and we will not get seated, but they took us in, served us very quickly, made sure to cook a 'special' pasta for the kid. Even though they are known for steak, we had pasta and side dishes of vegetables, and it was amazing. Best ragu and fresh pasta of my life. We will be sure to come back for steak -with a reservation

17/06/2025: You are in for a real treat if you choose to eat here! Our concierge made us a lunch reservation, and we were very glad for this, because when the door opened for lunch, 12 customers were waiting including us.. There is a hand printed sign on the door that reads ‘ here we share tables’, and we shared our table with a lovely Brazilian couple. The owner moves from table to table pouring wine and serving dishes. As a starter, try the melted pecorino and truffles. Heaven! We had read so many wonderful reviews about their osso buco that we had to order it. Tender, flavorful….you can cut it with the side of your fork. We ordered a side of roasted veggies which were delicious too. The owner wrote and totaled our bill on the paper placemat. We loved it! If you are visiting Montepulciano, don’t miss this gem of a restaurant.

03/05/2025: Exceptional. The food is typical homemade, the quality is excellent. I recommend the Florentine steak; but don't ask for it well done or any other type of cooking, trust them you won't regret it, it's hot and above all soft and tender inside, not at all rubbery. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the kitchen staff is friendly and good at advising. It will certainly be a fixed stop in Florence whenever there is an opportunity. Booking in advance is recommended.

01/06/2025: We ate well. The dishes are exquisite and refined in a very beautiful setting. The managers are very courteous and hospitable. Excellent value for money. Recommended.

30/05/2025: At La Tana dei Brilli you eat really well. It is one of those places where the cuisine is simple, made with local ingredients and recipes that taste like home. No frills, just real flavors, the ones you recognize at first taste and that make you want to come back. The menu is written with a poetic care that makes you want to order everything: each dish has a description that tells a story, and already reading it you imagine the smell and taste. The prices are fair, actually good, especially for what you take home in terms of quality and atmosphere. And then there is the owner - very nice - and the cook, who make you feel at home. They welcome you with a smile and treat you as if you were a lifelong friend. A place like this should be kept a secret ... but it deserves to be shared. Advice

28/05/2025: Really nice place in the middle of Tuscan hills. Simple decor but great food. Only one small remark, the chocolate suffle was a bit too overdone but the rest, including wine, was great.

27/05/2025: The tempura was a bit dry and the pici were just a small plate. 50 euros (with a glass and dessert) maybe too much

03/06/2025: We were here for my birthday. The service was really impeccable, they were really good at explaining the various dishes and were always kind and helpful. They even gave us a small pre-dessert for the occasion. Beautiful presentations of the dishes. Everything was very good from the appetizers to the first courses and especially the cheek! We will be back to try the tasting menus next time!

The presentation of the dishes clearly shows how much attention has been paid to visual appeal—but it doesn’t stop there. The excitement built up by the dramatic presentation explodes the moment the food touches your tongue. It's unbelievably delicious! In particular, the use of olive oil is masterful—perfectly balanced with the food. The pasta, rich with olive oil, is not greasy at all. The steak is also served with a drizzle of olive oil, enhancing its flavor and creating a taste that’s beyond description. But it’s not just the food that stands out—the staff are passionate and incredibly kind. If I ever return to Montepulciano, I will revisit this restaurant without a moment’s hesitation.

31/05/2025: Fantastic panoramic views, excellent food, and super friendly service. The dog was given water right away. No reservations are necessary for lunch.

10/06/2025: Ottima cena.. niente da ridire, antipasti toscani, primi e secondi da urlo, io ho preso i pici col ragù di anatra il mio ragazzo la tagliata di manzo con le patate ottima carne si scioglieva in bocca, il personale era disponibile e sorridente, per finire dolce della casa zuccotto fiorentino e ci hanno offerto la amaro grazie torneremo!!!

The cuisine makes it clear how much attention is paid to the search for taste, with quality products at the right price. The pasta is highly appreciated, all hand-made, with exceptional flours. Tradition that is cradled by innovation is the right mix that must be sought in a restaurant. Highly recommended!

10/06/2025: Kreative Speisekarte, super Küche, hervorragender Service. Und nicht zuletzt, sehr schönes Ambiente. Auch die Weinauswahl, wie in der Toskana zu erwarten, war top. Von guten Basisweinen bis zu den Super Tuscans.

30/05/2025: A 10/10 dinner!! I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have made a better choice. Wonderful atmosphere immersed in the Tuscan hills, few tables and very kind service, attentive to every need. Impeccable food, traditional Tuscan offerings but creatively revisited by the chef, much appreciated. A place where we will definitely return and that we will recommend!
