07/07/2026: This restaurant is located near Florence train station. As other Japanese reviewers have noted, the taste and price are both excellent (around 10 euros per pasta). In particular, the spinach risotto was delicious, and even after eating a lot of Italian food, it was easy to eat thanks to its mildly salty seasoning, which is perfect for Japanese palates. Mentioning that you saw it on AmoItalia, a website for Japanese tourists visiting Italy, will get you a 10% discount.

08/07/2026: True Tuscany, just steps from the A1 A few kilometers (2-3) from the Reggello exit, and you're immediately in the Florentine hills enjoying authentic Tuscan dishes and hospitality! From appetizers to first courses, to meat dishes... everything is excellent, with attentive and professional service. The view of the hills and castles is priceless. Only 5 stars due to Google's limit.

07/07/2026: Great food, kind service. Not too crowded at the moment we were there. Pity of the large group of noisy Americans but that´s not the restaurants fault. Ossobucco was perfectly cooked, lemon sorbet perfect little end of a nice dinner

28/06/2026: We went on a recommendation, as Montepulciano's restaurants cater to tourists. At Bricciola, you see locals, which is a good sign. The restaurant is tucked away and has its own charm, with classic ceilings and traditional decor. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. We had the typical pici and their veal, both delicious. At the end, they offered us their version of tiramisu, but I wouldn't recommend it; it didn't taste like tiramisu and was a few days old. Even so, it's highly recommended.

12/06/2026: First meal in Italy! Delicious food and gluten free pizza! Didn't seem particularly glad to have eight travel-weary Americans with minimal language capabilities drop in but, that's probably to be expected. Pleasant enough for the most part though, and definitely top food.

24/05/2026: Never a problem. Mushrooms, steak, and game like few others. A well-stocked wine cellar, and Alessandro, the perfect companion.

05/07/2026: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We visited this restaurant for a romantic dinner. The place is wonderful; you immediately notice the attention to detail, both aesthetically and in the table setting. We were truly struck by the relaxed atmosphere, with the greenery surrounding us, the soft lighting, and the chirping of cicadas. The service is impeccable; everyone is extremely attentive and professional, but let's get to the highlight: the food. We chose an appetizer, a first course, and a second course, and then finished with two desserts... everything was sublime. You could taste the care taken in selecting quality ingredients and in the careful and respectful preparation of the products. The pici with white ragù were sensational, with a rich and authentic flavor, not to mention the grilled meat, excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The desserts were the icing on the cake; the artisanal cheesecake was excellent, as was the hazelnut tart. Having experiences like this isn't easy. Here, you can feel and see the attention to detail, but above all, the touch of a chef who cooks with love and passion, making his food unique and capable of making others happy with just a single bite. We'll definitely be back to try other delicacies.

09/07/2026: Fabulous place, super friendly and attentive wait staff, and superb food. I booked a table for dinner with my girlfriend, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we'd made the right choice. As soon as we arrived, we were escorted to our table by the wait staff, who were always present throughout the dinner without ever becoming intrusive. The outdoor dining area where we dined is surrounded by greenery, and at sunset, the lights strung around the branches of the majestic tree create a beautiful atmosphere. Last but not least, the food was spectacular. We ordered a Florentine steak with fried zucchini and baked potatoes. The crispy, non-greasy fried food, the melt-in-the-mouth cooking of the meat, and the perfect glass of wine, recommended by the sommelier, completed the experience. Highly recommended!!!

20/04/2026: We were staying in the area and had dinner at this trattoria. We ordered three fillets and asked for a tomato-filled picio for my daughter. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the meat was tender! Even the tomato sauce for my daughter's picio was expertly made (which isn't a given when you go to a restaurant and ask for a dish off the children's menu). Special mention to the waitress; she was kind and attentive throughout the service. See you soon!

19/04/2026: The Florentine steak melts in your mouth (the wild boar pici is also excellent), the prices are very fair, and the hospitality and friendliness are excellent. A true trattoria, as it should be.

01/05/2026: A proper Sienese osteria, no compromises. The chickpea flatbread with robiola cream was a great start — simple, well-executed. Pici all’aglione e briciole was the highlight: thick handmade pasta, bold garlic sauce, just the right texture. If you’re feeling adventurous, go for the fried brain — a classic offal dish done with confidence. Genuine Tuscan cooking at honest prices. Book ahead, it fills up fast.

23/06/2026: A well-kept restaurant inside and out, Warm atmosphere Good food Friendly service We stopped by this Osteria while traveling to Pisa. It was a Wednesday evening in June, and we booked on the way, warning that we'd be arriving a little late. We had a wheelchair, and they let us choose the most comfortable table from the available tables. The restaurant is very welcoming, both in the main dining room, the internal courtyard, and the separate dining room. Flowers and seasonal references adorn each table, each with a (real) candle lit, plus breadsticks with garlic butter. The dishes are excellently prepared and cooked, and the ingredients seem top-quality; traditional, but not predictable. We would have liked to delve deeper and try more from the menu, but we had already arrived late and didn't want to inconvenience the kitchen. We tried three first courses, two second courses, and two desserts. €75 bill The homemade bread, offered in at least four versions (of each type), plus a dark focaccia, is good, but perhaps suffers from the hours that have passed since it was baked, and the summer humidity doesn't enhance its fragrance. The service is kind and attentive. From the courtyard where the outdoor tables are set, you can see the kitchen through a grilled window.

04/07/2026: I called for a reservation, and a man answered, if you can call him that, who was truly rude and impolite. I politely asked for a table outside twice, and he responded by saying he understood there was no need to ask twice and that since we had chosen the table outside, even if it rained, we would have to stay there... At first I thought it was a joke, but then I had to cancel the table. Crazy stuff. I've eaten there several times, and it's never happened to me.

04/05/2026: A restaurant right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The center itself is charming, and the restaurant is equally charming, very well-maintained with stone walls. The staff are incredibly friendly! They were fully booked, and they were disappointed to find us a table. We left, and I believe the owner, Thomas, saw us from afar and said he'd managed to find us a spot, so we returned for dinner. They were truly super kind. Fast service, clean restaurant, and good food.

03/05/2026: Compliments to the entire place!! The waitress and wait staff were superb! Perhaps the best table service I've ever experienced in terms of kindness and helpfulness. My two-year-old was treated like a prince, with smiles and games, and the staff attentive to his every need. The food was all truly excellent! I didn't have time to take photos of my full plate because everything was so good 🤣 A very beautiful and distinctive place for its location and setting. We'll definitely be back!!

20/07/2026: I stumbled upon this restaurant during a family trip and was surprised when I ordered "Un Primo Piatto a Scelta" with Gnocchi, a dish that I highly recommend, seriously, I think it was the best gnocchi I've ever eaten in my entire life! The portion is enough to feed two or even three people, depending on their appetite; the waitress, despite not speaking a word of English and me being the same with Italian, was super attentive and dedicated herself to serving us and making us comfortable. The restaurant has a moderate but comfortable space to accommodate several people, in addition to having a very cozy, grandma's house vibe.
