29/03/2026: Yesterday we went to Fagiolino. I'd seen the menu with a lot of game, which I don't like, but since it has a large menu, my friends and I ate beyond our expectations. Everything was excellent. Compliments to all the staff: kitchen, waiters, and owners. I give the service and food a 5-star rating, and the location a 4. Overall, 5.

24/02/2026: I spent Saturday lunch in this small and well-kept osteria in the centre of Siena, an experience that I am happy to share because in addition to traditional food with some hints of modernity, I found essential and attentive service that could only enhance the experience.

09/03/2026: As soon as we entered, we had some doubts about the restaurant's quality, but we later changed our minds. Upstairs, you enter an old apartment, with Arte Povera furniture, terracotta floors, and very tastefully decorated. The tables are spaced just right, and there's little noise, so you can talk comfortably. A family-run restaurant, very cheerful, friendly, and attentive to the customer's needs. A real competition between the tagliolini with truffle and the fritto misto, chicken, rabbit, and vegetables! The glass of house red wine was also good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the dishes.

10/01/2026: The restaurant is located on a hidden street off Via del Corso. This is a true Italian trattoria, family-owned and operated. We showed up a little late and it was busy—thank goodness we made reservations. We had some challenges ordering at first because the server didn't speak English. We think she was the owner's daughter because she called him "papa"! She had somewhat of an attitude initially, a bit grouchy, but things improved as the dinner progressed. The location is rustic and quite small with just a few tables, so it tends to be noisy, with lots of aromas and visuals of different dishes that can make it hard to decide what to order. We ordered an appetizer of crostini with burrata tartare (€16) which was decent, the bistecca alla Fiorentina for two, medium rare (€60), which was delicious—tender and juicy meat—insalata mista (€8) with fresh tomatoes and delicate dressing, insalata di patate (€8) which was not bad, and an amazing tiramisu (€8) plus coffee (€4). For drinks, we had beer (€4) and a carafe of red Rosso Bolgh, 1 liter (€18). The total bill was €130. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so it was perfect for us.

17/09/2025: We came to here for dinner. The atmosphere was great 👍 The swordfish carpaccio, paired with salad greens, fresh fennel, and pink grapefruit, was exquisite — the peppercorns added a delightful burst of flavor with each bite. The main course, Millefoglie di Cecina, a refined tower of codfish layered with chickpeas, spinach, and a velvety purple cabbage purée, proved to be another remarkable surprise The beef tenderloin, paired with foie gras, created a perfect harmony of flavors on the palate

03/04/2026: Expensive and terrible. We ordered a pumpkin risotto that tasted like absolutely nothing. We also had some mediocre meatballs, a tiramisu, and water. We paid 44 euros. If it had been delicious, okay, but honestly, we were swayed by the reviews and it was a complete disappointment. Four days in Florence and this is the first time we've had a bad meal.

15/02/2026: Pasta and artichokes, €14. It was literally drained pasta with artichokes on the plate, and that wasn't the only negative. I could also mention the Eurospin-flavored ravioli, wines priced at three times higher (but oh well, that's pretty common in Florence), and incompetent staff (they took our plate off the table before we'd finished). You should be ashamed.

29/03/2026: This restaurant doesn't need a positive review for the quality of its food. It's written all over Colle di Val d'Elsa that their cuisine is among the best... but what about the rest? Everything else is also fantastic and deserves to be written on the walls of neighboring towns. Fast service, fair prices, and an atmosphere filled with smiles and gracious manners. Bravo!

01/04/2026: Welcoming place even if a little dark, we had two appetizers and two asparagus risottos and the price seemed excessive to us.
