06/03/2026: I had dinner with my girlfriend and we had a wonderful time! We ate everything based on fish: appetizers, first courses, and second courses were all excellent. The fish was not only incredibly fresh, but also beautifully cooked. Compliments to the chef, he was extraordinary! The attentive, friendly, and professional staff were also excellent! Highly recommended!!!

06/03/2026: I’m so glad my hotel staff in Firenze recommended this restaurant—it was truly an excellent suggestion, and we feel lucky to have discovered it. The chef prepares seafood dishes with perfect flavor, from spaghetti and risotto to zuppa, tartare, and even desserts. Piccola Corte completely changed my view of risotto and tortino al cioccolato; perhaps I had never tried a truly good one before, but now I know how outstanding they can be. We loved it so much that after dining here for dinner, we returned the next day for lunch. This is without doubt the best restaurant of my trip in Italy. 😍❤️❤️

30/03/2026: Re di Macchia is exactly what you hope to find in a Tuscan hill town—an intimate, welcoming trattoria serving traditional dishes with real care. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. The restaurant is small and cozy, and the hospitality makes the whole experience feel personal. We had a reservation at opening, and had a chance to meet the owner. He was so authentic, and caring, which absolutely came through in the meals. We had 2 excellent meals. My wife had the mushroom lasagna, and it was excellent—rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. I went with the steak topped with Parmesan, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender, with just the right balance of flavor. This restaurant is a must do for anyone wanting an authentic, high-quality Tuscan food in a welcoming setting.

28/03/2026: Memorable meal in Montalcino at this family run restaurant. Excellent service, cozy ambiance and nostalgic food that left us with a smile on our face. We had the broccoli soufflé, eggplant parmigiana, steak, cannellini beans and tiramisu. Paired it all with a very delicious bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. Lovely meal at a place worth returning to.

05/03/2026: A restaurant on a small street, but its storefront makes a statement. Very pretty, well-lit, and with a magnificent interior. The servers are incredibly friendly, and every dish is equally excellent. Honestly, an ideal place for a great meal.

10/03/2026: We were recommended this restaurant for a taste of authentic Tuscan cuisine, and we ended up going there two nights in a row. Their ribolitta is very tender and has a pleasant, light flavor, and the baked potatoes and onions are excellent, pairing perfectly with their meat. Unfortunately, we weren't sure we could handle their signature T-bone steak, so we tried the veal T-bone steak. The flavor and aroma are simply amazing, and the meat is very tender, making it the perfect portion for one person. I really wanted to try an authentic Italian carbonara, but once we got to the restaurant, it turned out it wasn't on the menu. The waiter said he could ask the kitchen staff, and I ended up with my perfect carbonara (it's a little salty, but it doesn't interfere with the flavor). The consistency of the sauce and the doneness of the spaghetti were exactly what I expected from an Italian carbonara. The tiramisu was delicate with a light coffee flavor. Incredibly welcoming, yet not overly intrusive, service. All staff are willing to help and explain the menu in detail. We had a minor mishap, but thanks to the waiters' calm and helpful response, the situation didn't become awkward, for which I'm very grateful. Reservations recommended

07/01/2026: We just returned from a weekend in Siena and discovered this truly superb restaurant. It's family-run; the mother is the chef and the son manages the dining room. The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and meticulously detailed. We had lunch, and in addition to the care and passion with which each dish and the wine (which was recommended directly to us based on our choices) were described, the quality of the ingredients is undeniable. Highly recommended.

We ate very well, in a quiet and serene environment, where you can immediately feel the quality of the products and, above all, the care with which the place is managed. The owner told us a phrase that deeply impressed me: here there are no "customers", but people. And it is a difference that is felt in every gesture and in every attention given to those who cross the threshold. At the end of the evening we had the pleasure of meeting the chef Woha, who proved to be impeccable and passionate, offering an authentic and deeply human experience through her dishes. Thank you for the wonderful evening: a place that is good for the heart, not just the taste buds.

The informal atmosphere, accompanied by delicious home-cooked cuisine and perfectly cooked roasts, immediately wins you over! Plus, the excellent value for money doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. We'll definitely be back! Kudos to Daniele (the owner and waiter): both are a guarantee of kindness, courtesy, and professionalism! 👏🏻

22/03/2026: La Buchetta!!! I have to say that has been my most favourite restaurant I've been to in Italy. Let alone even back home. We did not have any reservations, and we took a chance to see if they could fit us in. They definitely went out their way to make sure we got a chance to eat here. That is the first amazing thing that they did. Before I even get onto the food, I have to comment about the service. The three gentlemen that were working the restaurant were the nicest people ever. Ledig, Kristian, and Benji are truly fantastic at what they do. Now onto the food. The Florentine steak was the main reason why I wanted to go here. Size of this steak was just amazing. When they brought it out to your table and carve it all up for you right in front of you, made my mouth water. I'm sure it is drooling lol It was so perfect in every way. Yes I eat every last piece fe My wife had a wonderful spaghetti, and had a couple pieces of my steak. I can't say enough about this place, and if you are in Florence, definitely book some reservation so you can get in and make sure you wear loose pants because you're going to be very full by the end of it. If I could give this place 10 stars out of five, it would be cool with stars right now. Thank you very much. Everyone of you guys were fantastic.

21/03/2026: This place is a gem!! We really enjoyed dinner at La Buchetta. Steak was amazing and Ledio made sure that we feel good and enjoy every moment of the dinner. Thank you to the whole staff for the warm welcome and Ledio in particular. Will definitely visit again.

02/12/2025: Place recommended by locals... and I immediately understood why, seeing a restaurant so crowded on a Tuesday night can only mean that you're playing it safe!! 🙌 Delicious and refined menus, exquisite and abundant dishes!! I love wandering around the various places but I think that the place, the dishes and above all the managers deserve a visit from time to time 🤤 the "framcesina" will remain in my heart 🤣🤣 as well as everything else, really well done!!!

14/03/2026: It puts you back in the world. Stellar suckling pig with delicious baked potatoes, but without oil and not greasy. A must-try. Their wine helps you get back in the world. Desserts round off the joy at the table.
