18/12/2025: We were 12 in total the travel agent made the booking but when we arrived they didn’t expect us to. Likely the agents fault. Luckily it wasn’t a busy day and they were happy to accommodate us . We tried almost all of the appetizers and all the pasta dishes.The service was excellent, with prompt food delivery and clearly of used plates. We all enjoyed all the various dishes, well made with fresh ingredients and local foods.

14/12/2025: Delicious seafood dishes and wines. Very unique and Sicilian with yummy sweet and sour sauces that I had not tasted anywhere previously. Great service. A wonderful experience all around.

12/04/2026: They offered us contemporary dishes inspired by Sicilian culinary culture. We later repeated them at home!

19/05/2026: The ambiance in this alley, "Via Santa Filomena," is lovely – lots of pretty fairy lights… especially romantic and cozy in the evenings. Fud is a good restaurant with a wide selection and a multilingual menu. The burgers are delicious. The smoked sandwich was tasty but unfortunately a bit dry.

We've been frequenting Trapani and its downtown restaurants for some time now, and this is truly one of those that deserves to be among the top choices for its quality, kindness, and hospitality! We chose it again last night for a relaxing, quiet, and private outdoor dinner. Fresh ingredients, cooked with flavor and absolute lightness, bringing out only the true flavors of the region. The sardine meatballs and the asparagus and scampi risotto were excellent. Generous portions, like few others! The wine list was top-notch! The bill was balanced. For this reason, and to discover more, we'll be back soon! I was perhaps forgetting the most important characteristic of the owners (who are always present): excellent friendliness!

02/05/2026: It was the closest to Japan experience in years food wise. A couple thoughts, we expected to see at least one Japanese chef of service staff as the website made it look like it’s authentic Japanese culinary made with local Italian chef. Service felt professional but very cold. 90% of the food was awesome but surprisingly ramen noodles were totally overcooked, that was unexpected from Italian chef. Matcha desert was so so good.

19/04/2026: La Trattoria del Sale is located near the Trapani salt pans. It offers excellent cuisine; the couscous with fried fish is truly amazing. The location is perfect for admiring the salt pans.
