02/01/2026: Superlative restaurant, excellent quality food cooked just like home, the couscous really good, we came in by chance, we've been back twice, the owners are very welcoming and know their job, pampering the customers. Engineer Ludovico....is the director of this beautiful orchestra and his family perform every piece to perfection, I express myself through music because they also love music, as well as good food, go there and you'll find out.
02/01/2026: We had dinner on the 30th with a reservation. The table wasn't ready on time, but they kindly offered us prosecco while we waited. We ate wonderfully: the bucatini with sardines and fennel was superb, and the dessert was also excellent. Highly recommended. The only caveat: the dessert menu doesn't include prices, and the desserts are a bit pricey (€12).

17/03/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us, and it was a great recommendation! Small and cozy. There's also a nice outdoor seating, but since it was raining, we stayed inside. The waitress was incredibly kind. I had the eggplant millefeuille, which was delicious, and the caponata, which was out of this world. My husband had the meat dishes and said they melted in his mouth (suckling pig and tartare first). Then we had Nil, a deconstructed cannoli, which was really good. The price was average. I recommend it too!

18/12/2025: We were 12 in total the travel agent made the booking but when we arrived they didn’t expect us to. Likely the agents fault. Luckily it wasn’t a busy day and they were happy to accommodate us . We tried almost all of the appetizers and all the pasta dishes.The service was excellent, with prompt food delivery and clearly of used plates. We all enjoyed all the various dishes, well made with fresh ingredients and local foods.
14/12/2025: Delicious seafood dishes and wines. Very unique and Sicilian with yummy sweet and sour sauces that I had not tasted anywhere previously. Great service. A wonderful experience all around.

30/10/2025: Our family stayed at the hotel for the last weekend in October:
-Room: renovated, small, but with ample storage space; narrow beds; balcony with a partial lake view; clean bathroom
-Staff: friendly and helpful
-Location: directly on the lake, a 5-minute walk to the center of Bardolino, parking directly in front of the hotel
-Breakfast: delicious and a very good selection (fresh fruit, cheese and cold cuts, pastries, freshly squeezed juice, etc.) - even on the last day the hotel was open

07/04/2026: We came here on a strong recommendation from a close friend, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
We tried the pork pasta, artichoke pasta, and bluefin caviar pasta—every single dish was outstanding. The pork pasta portion was especially generous and incredibly satisfying. The wine selection is also well curated and pairs nicely with the food.
What really made the experience special was the owner’s warm hospitality—she made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.
A truly memorable spot and definitely worth visiting.
03/04/2026: A very good restaurant, we loved it! The service was incredible; they replenished our bread basket and gave us olive oil to drizzle on the bread before our meal. For starters, we ordered a cheese that was EXQUISITE; we highly recommend it. For our main courses, we ordered three pasta dishes, all delicious. We arrived without a reservation at 8:30 pm and didn't have to wait—fantastic! We would definitely return!

08/03/2026: There are two set menus: €50 and €80. We chose the €80 menu and were surprised when the bill came because they charged €4 per person, €4 for water, €3 for coffee, and €6 for limoncello, even though it seemed like they were offering it. The food was good, but not everything on the menu. A shame.
27/02/2026: Such a disappointing experience. The food was utterly tasteless, overly greasy, and just plain disgusting. It was one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten. To make matters worse, the staff were rude and unprofessional. We couldn’t tolerate the poor quality of the food anymore, so we left halfway through our dinner. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone seeking a decent dining experience.

27/10/2025: Excellent dinner. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who had been there before. For appetizers, we had eggplant rolls, which were delicious. Then we had four samples of tartar, which were also excellent. For the first course, spaghetti with red mullet and wild fennel sauce was truly excellent. The second course was equally delicious: Lampedusana-style amberjack fillet. Everything was excellent, from the service to the ingredients used. The bill was reasonable for the quality and service provided. Thank you, and see you next season.

03/04/2026: The hotel was lovely. We liked the rooms; they were very well-equipped. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. One thing that stood out about the hotel was the minibar, which was stocked with non-alcoholic drinks—a very nice touch. There was also a coffee maker for making coffee or tea. We also thought the breakfast was good. The only issue was the staff being a bit slow with the coffee, but it wasn't a big deal; it was due to the high volume of guests. The location was incredible.

02/08/2025: Siamo rimasti incantati da questo ristorante. L'accoglienza del titolare, la gentilezza dei ragazzi che servono ai tavoli, il menù così invitante, la qualità del cibo e le porzioni davvero generose.
Una ulteriore nota di merito per la cantina con bottiglie di qualità e con ricarico assolutamente accettabile rispetto al prezzo da scaffale.
Che dire... Osteria Cavallo a Favignana mai più senza!
