13/03/2026: The first time I visited this restaurant (it's not a trattoria), I overlooked a spoiled cake, which they said was because of the Greek yogurt (as if I didn't know anything about it). But then again, I'd eaten well, so I overlooked it. The second time, the tuna simply went bad and was cooked even worse, left on the plate, and not a word from the staff. I've read a few reviews from other customers; in one of them, the owner mocks the customer (the review is still up on Google), teasing him about whether or not he'd recovered from the shock of the bill. I find this unacceptable, because not everyone is a millionaire, and at least if you pay, you expect to eat well. It's a lapse in style that truly deserves the desertion of this place, run by these unworthy people. For my part, never again, especially since it's now fallen into the abyss not only in terms of quality but also in terms of education.

01/07/2025: Restaurante informal en el paseo marítimo. El camarero era amable y la comida resultó mucho mejor de lo esperado para el lugar super ocupado en el agua. Pizza Siracusiana era deliciosa, corteza fina muy fresca con aceitunas, tomates secados al sol y anchoas. Las sardinas a la parrilla eran excelentes con un toque de pesto en la parte inferior y con limón. Esta parecía una buena opción para una comida casual o una bebida el domingo por la noche con una hermosa vista al mar.

23/02/2026: Wonderful setting (huge outdoor spaces, charming interiors), surrounded by nature, just a short distance from Palermo. Excellent lunch, dishes prepared largely with fresh garden produce or top-quality ingredients. Reasonably priced and generous portions.

25/10/2025: Relaxed location with super tasty local food. Lots of fresh fish options, and the couscous was delicious. The restaurant is family run, and they are kind and the food arrives well timed. Would highly recommend for large groups or families and couples. They have a cosy outside space. Grazie per la bellissima serata!! ☺️

07/03/2026: A truly delightful discovery. We stumbled upon this trattoria almost by mistake, having booked a table at the adjacent pizzeria of the same name. But as soon as we entered and saw the ambiance, we immediately changed our minds. My wife and I were there on a Friday. The atmosphere was intimate, with several separate rooms where small groups dined in complete tranquility. The first thing we noticed was the absence of the typical "revelry" that too often occurs in restaurants. Then we were drawn to the kindness and friendliness of Mr. Biondo, the owner, who is capable of entertaining you with the history of the place. The food was truly delicious, especially the pasta with the freshest sea urchins, which are brought to you open on a separate plate so you can season it as you like. And the strudel, well-seasoned and just warm, was truly delicious. As mentioned, a delightful discovery.

03/10/2025: We followed the Routard's advice. The restaurant is now called Aurora, and we understand that there's a continuity with the previous one. In any case, the comments still apply: it's very good, fresh, and fairly priced. We really enjoyed the bruschetta with fish and shrimp tartare, then the spaghetti alla vongole (delicious sauce!) and the pasta with tuna and bottarga. Several of the guests were island residents, which is a very good sign. Friendly service. Thank you very much!

18/09/2025: I ordered a portion of tuna with sweet and sour sauce. The portion was quite small, the sauce excellent - I had to wait for the bread that the staff forgot to bring; the tuna did not seem fresh...

15/03/2026: Elegant place. Rosalba is a wonderful person, along with all the staff. We were there last night for my birthday. Thank you so much. The food was good and fresh, and they were always there to serve us. Thank you for everything you did for us. We'll be back soon!

13/02/2026: A welcoming restaurant just steps from the Teatro Massimo. The dishes are tasty and plentiful. In addition to what we ordered, the manager offered us samples of typical Palermo cuisine. The staff were polite and friendly.

15/03/2026: It was a very pleasant Sunday, I felt at home, the typical dishes were delicious, the customer service was excellent and very fast, I recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back.

04/01/2026: If I could, I'd give it a zero! Aside from the long wait for food and everything else, but oh well, I can almost justify that despite the staff's numerous oversights. We were placed in a "room" covered by a tent and attached to it, where obviously the cold and wind came in. We asked to change tables and nothing happened, even though there were free ones, but "you can't change a room for us." We asked to move the mushroom, and it was done, but in the meantime, they were told that "no one has ever complained and that next time we shouldn't come back." And so it will be, without a doubt. Rude and rude staff!!! When faced with a problem, you can't just tell a customer to go to hell, no matter how annoyed or upset they may be. You shouldn't work with the public. I'm infinitely sorry, but that's the way it is!! P.S.: I've been working with the public for 17 years, and I understand that sometimes the customers and the work can put us under pressure, but certain things just aren't plausible. Greetings.

29/03/2026: Lovely spot by the harbor. Staff very reserved 😔. Unfortunately, no snacks to go with the Spritz and wine. We're used to better in Sicily. What a shame…

22/03/2026: A very satisfying dinner! I noticed some improvement from the already good level I remembered. Spectacular uramaki and then a truly exquisite scampi and truffle risotto. Well done, congratulations.
