02/10/2025: OK place, OK service, average appetizers. PIZZAS: average-high price for the pizza, good dough, but what about the toppings? Let's draw a veil over them. The pizzas are over-topped, with a soft center, and the flavors are therefore mixed, you can't distinguish anything, so everything is messy and the pizza is very heavy to digest, in fact you can only eat half of it. A good pizza must have the right toppings, not too much, because you need to feel the crunchiness of the dough. The toppings that make up the pizza must be distinguishable, it must be light and digestible. QUANTITY IS NOT ALWAYS SYNONYMOUS WITH QUALITY AND ABOVE ALL GOODNESS.

01/10/2025: Good service from the waiters. Good pasta. Apparently, I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the dish of the day and surprised to pay €25 for four paltry tuna meatballs, which were offered as a starter of the day and then paid for as a main course. They may be good (more flavorful elsewhere, in my opinion), but the dish wasn't worth €25, especially when presented like that without any clear instructions or price. The owner wasn't very attentive on this point, but simply continued to say that the tuna was special. The bread served was old and rubbery.

29/09/2025: All good, but perhaps it would be appropriate to disclose the price of off-menu items in advance. We had an appetizer and two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine for €95, of which the off-menu tuna meatballs alone cost €25.

22/10/2025: They were nice and after a good portion of time we were allowed to order drinks even though they were only just opening... the place is nicely located right next to a road.

14/09/2025: The food is average. When we arrived, the waitress greeted us without a smile. Afterward, there was a bit of an argument between the waiters. For a pizza, mussel soup, a chicken skewer, and a sparkling water, it cost 40 euros. Neither cheap nor excessively expensive.

18/10/2025: We had dinner at this osteria; the place is truly beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is also good; you can taste the attention paid to the choice of ingredients. That said, there were some aspects that left me perplexed. The prices are decidedly high, especially considering it's an osteria, where one would normally expect a better value and more generous portions. I had read negative reviews about the staff, but I found them friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice place, but they need to reconsider their prices and portions to truly offer an osteria experience, in the truest sense of the word.

14/09/2025: Fantastic! Osteria Ballarò combines tradition and creativity with incredibly tasty dishes, crafted with attention to detail. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and the service is impeccable. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, making you feel right at home. An absolute must-have in Palermo!

30/10/2025: Our family stayed at the hotel for the last weekend in October: -Room: renovated, small, but with ample storage space; narrow beds; balcony with a partial lake view; clean bathroom -Staff: friendly and helpful -Location: directly on the lake, a 5-minute walk to the center of Bardolino, parking directly in front of the hotel -Breakfast: delicious and a very good selection (fresh fruit, cheese and cold cuts, pastries, freshly squeezed juice, etc.) - even on the last day the hotel was open

22/10/2025: Nice hotel close to the center. Only about a 5-minute walk to the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the pool because it was already too cold (October). There's usually plenty of parking nearby. Breakfast is also okay and plentiful.

10/10/2025: We stayed in Noto for three nights and ended up dining at Tannur every night. The ingredients were top-quality and presented with exquisite elegance. The chef, whom we met, was a true professional who accommodated all our requests. The place is beautiful and clean, with a family atmosphere, starting with the owner Corrado, his mother, and the talented, friendly, and knowledgeable waiter Stefano. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Wow! Such a delicious fresh meal at a family restaurant! The special ravioli was amazing! Pasta Norma was so hot and delicious. Fresh crisp green salad and yummy octopus salad too! A great suggestion from our sgent...a local spot for sure!!

15/09/2025: Perfect for a quick lunch. The chicken burger was good. The beer selection is extensive. Service is fast, attentive, and humorous. The ambiance is modern. The shop is located on a quiet side street.

09/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed with both the food and the service. My wife wanted the vegetarian menu and I wanted the regular menu, but we were told a vegetarian menu wasn't possible, and if we had one, we'd both have to order one. Unfortunately, the food lacked refinement for the price.

21/09/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, a traditional trattoria tucked away in the alleys of Castrofilippo's historic center. The four of us sampled several homemade appetizers, two pizzas, and a schiacciata: everything was delicious and prepared with authentic simplicity. The four-cheese pizza, while flavorful, was a bit too oily. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar; I recommend visiting especially on weekdays, when the service is more attentive and quick, while on weekends the place tends to fill up quickly.

18/09/2025: A very nice place and atmosphere with a lovely little terrace lined with fairy lights. The food is delicious, and the owner is happy to let you taste his local specialties. We loved everything, even the house wine 😊 Would definitely do it again. Reservations recommended.

09/10/2025: My wife and I stopped here before we went back to the airport just before 3pm. We arrived around 2:40pm and they were still serving food. The food was incredible and came out hot! Best food of our trip and now dreaming of how im going to recreate this carbonara pasta in Australa! Thank you!

The restaurant is typically Sicilian, with a somewhat shabby and quirky decor, but very charming. The food was wonderful, and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for the lovely evening!

26/09/2025: We immediately received a warm welcome from the waiter, whose professionalism, friendliness, and kindness made our birthday a pleasant one. We celebrated with dinner at this restaurant, sitting on the terrace and enjoying a lovely atmosphere. For dinner, we had cheese-stuffed onions as an appetizer, which were delicious. We then tried the pasta, pork shank, and beef with potatoes. Everything was quite good.

05/08/2025: How can they expect that a charge a no show fee of Euro160 is accepted, taking a deposit with no deposit clauses nor protection. Unacceptable, they are not worth my money and time.

03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso. Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.
