Il locale è davvero accogliente, nel cuore della Trapani antica, i gestori gentili e l'ambiente caldo e intimo. La sorpresa arriva con un cous cous trapanese di quelli che stanno alla pari con i migliori dell'intera provincia, che è la patria italiana del cous cous. Un piatto che rapisce per la cromaticità e i sapori che si integrano a meraviglia. Piatto unico, con dentro gamberoni, gamberetti, calamari e trancio di Pesce San Pietro... Una buona cantina, prezzi corretti. Da andarci, per la gola ma anche per la magnifica passeggiata...

We ate in this little bijou in the heart of Trapani. A few steps from the cathedral of San Lorenzo. Impeccable service, soft and elegant atmosphere, top-notch food. I highly recommend it.

Wir waren Abendessen im Ai Lumi und das Ambiente hat total viel Charme. Der Service war spitze. Seit wir dort waren habe ich ein neues Lieblingsgericht - Busiate Trapanese. Weil es so ausgezeichnet war hat die Zeit für ein Bild vom Essen nicht mehr gereicht.

A lovely rustic taverna with an excellent wine list. The pasta con pesto trapanese is exceptional. I would avoid the "verdure lesse". They boil the vegetables to death. I had the broccoli and it was inedible. It was boiled so long it was no longer green. Also, while the chairs have a nice rustic look, they are very uncomfortable especially if you are looking to settle in for a multi-course meal.

05/04/2024: We went in the off season. We were just two couples dining in the restaurant. A warm, pleasant and very familiar atmosphere. The chef was very kind and friendly. The products are very good and of high quality. A varied and tasty menu. The price is standard for the island, we didn't find it too expensive.
