"Bye Bye Blues" had been on my list to visit for a few years due to its positive reviews. Our visit certainly lived up to those expectations. It is a lovely, small, and quiet restaurant with pleasant service. We opted for the Italian menu with wine pairings; the food—as well as the accompanying wines—surpassed all expectations. In terms of quality, the food rivals that of a one-star Michelin restaurant. Top-notch.

This restaurant has always been a precious gem, distinct from the gastronomic emptiness of Mondello, yet when I was looking for something different to celebrate my daughter's birthday, I didn't expect such a pleasant experience. The Japanese menu is superb from the first course to the last, masterfully executed by Patrizia and the Japanese chef, who perfectly embodies the kindness, respect, and beauty of this people. The attentive yet relaxed service makes the whole experience truly special. Thank you.

It was the closest to Japan experience in years food wise.
A couple thoughts, we expected to see at least one Japanese chef of service staff as the website made it look like it’s authentic Japanese culinary made with local Italian chef.
Service felt professional but very cold.
90% of the food was awesome but surprisingly ramen noodles were totally overcooked, that was unexpected from Italian chef.
Matcha desert was so so good.

We returned to Bye Bye Blues today for the first time in many years to try the Japanese menu, and we were truly satisfied. Delicious, authentic dishes, at absolutely fair prices for the quality. We'll definitely be back, especially since no one in Palermo makes a Japanese curry this good!

I'm from Venice, visiting my son, who's happily settled in Palermo. He invited me to this restaurant for Easter lunch. The cuisine was perfect, top-notch, with attention to every detail. The staff was extremely friendly, and the enchanting setting with its splendid paintings is not to be missed.

There are two set menus: €50 and €80. We chose the €80 menu and were surprised when the bill came because they charged €4 per person, €4 for water, €3 for coffee, and €6 for limoncello, even though it seemed like they were offering it. The food was good, but not everything on the menu. A shame.
