24/08/2024: Τα πιάτα ήταν πολύ αλμύρα κ πανάκριβα. Τα φαγητά ήταν κακής ποιότητας. Η ποσότητα λίγη. Το κρέας ήταν ωμό. Το κουβερτ ακριβό. Οι τουαλέτες ήταν λερωμενες. Δεν το συστήνω σε κανένα. Δεν αξίζει να το επισκεφθείς!

03/08/2024: I've been there several times, all in all the food is good and the price is honest. However, I didn't like the fact that the lady at the checkout never showed me a receipt where I could see the count of what I consumed, but only the final sum which was always a multiple of 5 or 10 (35 , 40, 50). This makes me wonder if you often round up! Crafty

20/08/2024: Locale che conosco da tanto tempo. La pizza è sottile e buona come al solito. Fritti anch'essi deliziosi. Personale rapido e gentile. La signora (proprietaria) gentile anch'essa. Unico appunto il conto finale. Forse un pochino troppo per una pizza a testa (4), una birra per quattro ed un fritto misto per quattro persone , per un totale a testa di 29 euro.

16/08/2024: Clean and tidy environment without too many people present, friendly staff but in my opinion not very organised. Good food and very good value for money. I recommend the trio of first courses and the oxtail.

26/07/2024: This is such a wonderful restaurant, the food was delicious. We frequently came back as we had such a fantastic experience here, always friendly and welcoming, authentic Italian food. The waiters were so kind, my children absolutely loved Carlo and Tonino. They would request to eat here everytime. We can't wait to come back again. The Carbonara is out of this world, so tasty. Thank you for the amazing service, felt like family, great for families. 19th July.

26/07/2024: 26/07/2024 Ristorante storico vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini. Primi buonissimi ed abbondanti, carne di ottima qualità e ben cucinata. Eccellenti anche i dolci. Personale gentile, valore aggiunto: il cameriere napoletano.

23/07/2024: The place had no sign and when we arrived it was also turned off (it was 8pm). Sitting at the table we were not even given a menu nor did we know the prices. The appetizer that we hadn't requested arrives (but was still included in the bill even though we didn't know the price or ask for it). I ask for a cacio e pepe with short pasta, in addition to the cooking which I appreciated, the rest was a dry pasta with lumps of cheese and only tasted of pepper. After a while the dog comes in and it doesn't bother me personally, but in a room perhaps for hygiene reasons it's better to stay outside... Exaggerated bill for the quality of the things and above all the receipt did not contain the costs of what we had taken, but it was only the receipt from the POS. I'm sorry but we're not quite there

23/07/2024: Locale privo di insegna, ingresso tra carrelli della spesa e sedie rotte, accolti al buoi con il cuoco che ha preso le ordinazioni,il tutto sulla fiducia perché il menù non esiste,primo fatto in modo grossolano che se me lo facevo da solo veniva meglio, pollo alla cacciatora senza olive( la ricetta le prevede) . Antipasto non richiesto e probabilmente messo nel conto che è stato esagerato. Ho ricevuto solamente la ricevuta del pos quindi non posso sapere il prezzo di un antipasto X2, un primo, un secondo, una bottiglia d'acqua non fresca, un bicchiere di rosso della casa, totale 34 euro. Sconsigliato. Aggiungo che il proprietario è entrato con il sigaro in bocca anche se c'è scritto vietato fumare e un cane di grossa taglia che ha girato indisturbato tra i tavoli.

03/08/2024: We were recommended to try this restaurant specifically by a local so we were very excited to try their carbonara. As others have mentioned, the service leaves much to be desired. We were accustomed to the more transactional type of service that you experience in Italy; this was not that. The service was both aggressive and dismissive. We ordered bread which said on the menu it should come with olive oil, and also requested balsamic vinegar; the bread came dry and they charged us for qty 2 (I’m assuming because we were 2 people? We only wanted 1 serving). I believe our server forgot about these things because she was so aggressively pushing us to order more than what we really wanted which was just the carbonara. We were a little taken aback by how aggressively she was trying to get us to order more so we ordered the caprese just to end the interaction. The caprese salad did taste very nice. The carbonara was good but quite salty and I would say the pasta was a bit firmer than al dente. But, we enjoyed it. The thing that really put a sour note on the dinner was at the end, we got the check and they had a slip of paper asking us to write down how much we wanted to tip. I had experienced, and been told by many locals, that tipping is NOT expected in Italy. So we chose not to write anything because our bill was way higher than we were hoping to pay (€85 for two people to have 1 drink each, pasta, and a caprese salad???) and we were not particularly impressed by the service to merit additional tip. The server came to run our card and pulled out the sheet of paper and ASKED US TO WRITE SOMETHING DOWN ON IT. I was honestly stunned. I am certain that piece of paper wouldn’t have even been in there if we were obviously European. In America I am a generous tipper but it was obvious this restaurant had inflated prices in a touristy location hoping to attract the ignorance of tourists with these practices. I am confident we could have found similar/better quality carbonara for a much lower price point elsewhere in the city and was disappointed in this recommendation.

29/07/2024: Good refreshment place in the eastern sector of Rome, on Via Casilina. Fairytale outdoor setting with poolside tables with water and lights that make the setting perfect and the summer nights cool, even in this sultry heat. Excellent food from starters, to first courses and up to desserts. Optimal.
