06/05/2026: I organized an aperitif at the Carovana to celebrate my 60th birthday (after having already been there for my son's Communion and Confirmation) and this time too it was a success: excellent and abundant food, impeccable organization and service, beautifully decorated patio and room and the magical atmosphere created by live music, all surrounded by a garden with Roman excavations... Thank you for helping to make an already unforgettable evening perfect.

06/08/2026: This place has the rudest stuff in the whole Rome. Avoid this restaurant at all cost! I hope they will go bankrupt once they start paying their taxes. Their cashier demanded cash and insulted us in Italian while we paid the bill by card. Highly DO NOT recommend to visit this cheap greasy spoon!

07/08/2026: Exceptional food and a staff with a rare kindness and attentiveness. If you're passing through, you absolutely must stop by, as finding places like this in the center of Rome is increasingly difficult.

07/08/2026: Wonderful place! The restaurant is clean, beautifully decorated, and serves masterfully prepared dishes. The staff is particularly attentive and thoughtful. I recommend it for both an intimate dinner with your significant other or a dinner with friends. The quality/price ratio is top-notch!

03/06/2026: The food was good, but when I checked the bill later, I found out that they sell the complimentary bread for 3 euros and charge a 15% service fee. I think it would be good to keep this in mind before you go.

28/05/2026: A classic Roman pizzeria that also makes excellent amatriciana and gricia. Prices are fair for a place near St. Peter's. The interior is, by necessity, a bit touristy, but the quality of the food is high and authentic, so much so that the place is popular with locals. The pizza is good, Roman-style, and the fried foods are also good.

14/06/2026: We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday... the food was, of course, top notch, as always. The service was exceptional in efficiency and kindness. 11/06/2026: As a Roman, I can say that finding certain flavors outside of Rome is not at all a given. The carbonara was simply delicious, made just right, with that authentic flavor that immediately transports you to Roman traditions. Tasting dishes like this is truly something fabulous. The place is welcoming and well-kept, with an atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The staff was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. Impeccable uniforms, attention to detail, and a friendliness that is increasingly rare these days: for a moment, I felt like I had come home. The bill was also a super positive note: I should have paid more, and they gave me an unexpected discount. What can I say... amazing! Congratulations to all the staff. I will definitely be back to try other Roman specialties. 👏🍝🇮🇹

13/07/2026: Stopped off for a drink here late in the evening after seeing the Spanish steps in Rome. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Was fairly quiet as it was late, but some food was still coming out which looked good. The outside seating area is a nice place to sit with friends and enjoy a meal or just drinks whilst taking in the area.

09/08/2026: We went to Angelina a Testaccio to celebrate my birthday, as we have done for a number of years. It was the first time we had eaten outside and the setting, ambience and atmosphere on the terrace were spot on. The food was absolutely delicious as always. The choice of starters and mains, and price, were perfect and the service attentive. My main course of linguine alle vongole was delicious. It was a very special night to remember.

09/08/2026: The spacious and pleasant terrace, warm lighting, and tall, airy plants create a lovely atmosphere. Good quality and a wide selection of dishes, including original contemporary Italian cuisine. Famous for their meat and pasta dishes, they also offer a wide selection of other dishes. Reservations recommended.

02/06/2026: The service was way too fast. We still had our appetizers and the main courses arrived. I've had better carbonaras. Porchetta was very cold. Overall, I didn't like it.

02/06/2026: I don't often go to "Fraschette" for lunch or dinner, but believe me, it's been a while since I've eaten so well!!! Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

02/06/2026: We ate a very good pizza, the lake poke was very tasty, the service was excellent and finally the waiter offered us a digestive made by him and it was pleasant, we were very satisfied and we will be back.

02/06/2026: Right in the center of Bolsena. Quality food, for sure, but a word of advice: the pizza should be round, not rectangular, and much larger. €15 is too expensive for a pizza that looks like a small pinsa.

21/07/2026: Very welcoming host, the food was good, but a bit pricey (for tourists I think). For two plates of gnocci, some tiramisu and a little bottle of wine we paid 40€. The price was wrote on the table and presented as the “roman way”. Sadly that they do this with tourists because the overall atmosphere is great as the vibe is very local.
