31/07/2025: Horrible. We ordered three "Pinasa Menus," substituting the pizza for pasta carbonara, a possibility the waitress had mentioned. A waiter came to serve us. He brought the appetizers and then the pasta carbonara, which was inedible because it was so salty. We informed him of this, but he said it was normal "due to the pecorino cheese." We pointed out that, whatever the reason, something was wrong, as it was so salty, it was hard to swallow. But to no avail. Result: we paid the bill, left, and never intend to return.

30/06/2025: A nice surprise. We happened to be there for dinner, we liked the atmosphere of the tables on the street and so we sat down and were surprised by a menu for at least two people that you see in the photo, really good and satisfying. We took half a liter of white wine on tap and 2 liters of water (very hot day!). We spent 66 euros but were sincerely satisfied!

27/07/2025: Nonexistent service. Once you enter the restaurant, no one bothers to approach you and ask. Once you're seated, you have to attract attention to order, otherwise you become part of the restaurant along with the tables and chairs. The food quality is mediocre. An experience to forget...

09/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in Borgo Pio, just steps from St. Peter's Square. Open late (with outdoor dining) and offering a wide selection of dishes. The parmigiana and potato-crusted turbot are special. Highly recommended!

02/07/2025: I ordered ossobuco because I tried it once and had fond memories of it. Do not order this dish here under any circumstances, the quality/price ratio does not meet expectations. Ossobuco is usually lamb or calf. But here there was a retired cow for at least the last couple of years 😬

12/07/2025: After 45 minutes of waiting on foot, we still hadn't been able to place our order. The staff was smoking a vape and, despite looking at us, walked right past us without stopping. We asked several times if we could order, but were simply ignored. An Italian couple who arrived after us (also without a reservation) were obviously served immediately. When we saw that they had received their food, we got up and left.

05/07/2025: very good food, waiters who sometimes don't hear or if they hear sometimes they forget and the very cool atmosphere with shirts autographed by Roma players. Very satisfied complex

25/07/2025: Really authentic Italian food. Went here for an event and had shared platters . Great variety and really great quality. Overall really enjoyed- had dishes such as eggplant, carbonara, and more. Everything was so good- recommend

23/07/2025: NOTE: When you see reaction and comment from the owner you can imagine what kind of persons run this restaurant! They just prove that my comment is true from the first word to the last. Avoid this restaurant if you want to enjoy your evening in pleasant atmosphere! ORIGINAL COMMENT: What a behavior. Even if we clearly make a reservation inside they “prepare” as a table outside with rather chilly weather. When we insist for indoor seating they place us on the table next to the toilet entrance. Very common service behavior nowadays in Italy offered to non-italian speaking persons. Probably saving better table for walk-in Italian customers. When we complain thay told us that restaurant is fully booked, which was obvious a lie, since there was 20:30 and just few tables where used. So, we can’t switch the table. Waiter and manager was rude and arrogant and we decided to leave. Pitty what, once nice restaurant, become. If you want nice food and polite service and you are NOT Italian, beware of this dump. You can find better places for spending money on overpriced meals and wines.

17/07/2025: Holidays in Rome After a pleasant walk around the city, we decided to have dinner. And we liked this one. We didn't know anything about it; it looked good. We ordered three dishes to share (two adults and two children). Lasagna was a little burnt but acceptable, nothing more. The daily menu at any bar in Spain is better than that, but still good. Saltimbocca... four poorly cooked pieces of pork, with a sauce, to say the least, of wine and flour. Small, with a bad taste and worse appearance. We tried all four and couldn't eat it. A pasta whose name I don't remember... pasta cooked al dente and an acidic tomato sauce. We didn't eat it either. We decided to ask for the bill, without dessert or anything. Mother, they even charged us for the cutlery. A bill of 93 euros for not having dinner. The waiters were very attentive until we sat down. The service was changed. A very inadvisable place. And to top it all off, we The waiter says that apart from the cutlery, we should leave him a 10% tip... obviously we told him that the tip was for the good service and this place left a lot to be desired. I hope it helps future customers.

07/07/2025: I left Brazil for Rome to experience this wonderful cuisine, and it's simply everything they say! A perfect restaurant, impeccable service, and excellent pizza!

30/06/2025: I had a really good dinner. Friendly and helpful service, dishes cooked with care. The fried food was fragrant, the cod cooked very well. You have to try the amberjack meatballs! Fantastic! Tonnarelli cacio e pepe very tasty I recommend the lemon sorbet. Never eaten so good! It will be a regular stop for me when I return to Rome

21/07/2025: I came here with a group of friends for lunch. The menu is very simple, but the servings are just the right amount. They serve first courses at lunchtime; pizza in the evening. We chose an appetizer and first courses: both were very generous and flavorful! We were very satisfied! We'll definitely be back!

20/07/2025: We've often dined on the patio and have always had a pretty good experience. Last night, however, we ordered pizzas and some fried food to go. The pizzas and fried food were incorrect, even though they were listed correctly on the receipt. A little more attention will be needed next time, especially for those who aren't staying for dinner.

05/07/2025: This evening despite the heat I decided to go out with friends to eat. We chose to come to this historic restaurant that has a large outdoor space under the olive trees. The slightly milder temperature under the trees allowed us to better enjoy the excellent dishes. The staff was courteous and attentive to the needs of the customers. A truly beautiful experience to be repeated soon.

26/06/2025: Very spacious place with furnishings that recall old farmhouses, abundant furnishings that meet and clash with each other with a thin layer of dust that makes everything uniform. The cuisine is aimed at an audience that certainly does not seek novelty, some flights of fancy with a lopsided landing. The large garden is very beautiful.

14/07/2025: Don’t waste a precious meal in Rome here. Quite bland food - suspect the pasta isn’t fresh, and the risotto inferior to what can be made at home. Asked to describe the red wine offered, I was informed it was “very strong”. It was an acceptable Pinot Nero, but we were charged ten euros more than we were told the bottle was worth, and the bottle seemed to have already been opened before it came to us. Youll see similar reviews in recent weeks. They don’t want your business. Go elsewhere.

13/07/2025: Extremely average food and disingenuous service. The owner upsold us to a bottle of wine on the basis that it was better value than two glasses and then gave us a bottle that cost 10€ more than the price he had told us. They also charged 3€ for tap water on top of a cover charge of 2€ per person. Nothing about the food or service made this place worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
