I don't often go to "Fraschette" for lunch or dinner, but believe me, it's been a while since I've eaten so well!!! Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

A very spacious and clean fraschetta. You can eat everything Roman. It offers a wide selection of appetizers, including tripe (delicious) and beans with pork rind, assorted cured meats, porchetta, ricotta with honey, buffalo mozzarella, and many other items. Traditional Roman first courses are excellently prepared. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. We'll definitely be back. Reasonably priced.

On vacation in the Castelli Romani, I went there on the first night, recommended by our B&B host. We had the platter, which was already filling, but unaware of the rest, we ordered the tagliatelle with wild boar. Everything was excellent, and the wine was also very good... so much so that we returned two nights later and it was all the same. The porchetta and ricotta were fabulous. Just to be precise, we ate in the main restaurant the first night and in number 2 the second. There was no difference, the staff was excellent and very friendly, and the food quality was identical. When I return, it will be a must-stop.

We stopped for lunch at this osteria in Ariccia. We had typical appetizers and a first course of tonnarelli cacio e pepe. Everything was really good and served impeccably. The only complaint was that the cacio e pepe was a bit too salty. I would go back and recommend it.

Excellent quality but expensive as a fraschetta, we spent 31 euros each for the appetizer and first course, if we had taken the second course, dessert, coffee and bitter, it would have shot up to 60 euros per person

Al Grottino del Laziale

09/05/2026: My wife and I had a perfect evening at Grottino 1912. We started with an excellent egg with tuna sauce, followed by a creamy carbonara and textbook Roman-style involtini. The zabaglione and biscotti finale was the icing on a truly memorable dinner. Authentic Roman cuisine, just like it used to be. The atmosphere is quaint. We'll definitely be back!

Alfredo alla Scrofa

11/06/2026: We had to wait in line because we went without a reservation. It had just opened after lunchtime, and since everyone with reservations had just been seated, we waited quite a while even though we were first in line. You need to be prepared for this; you constantly wait in lines in Rome, and this can sometimes be exhausting. We went for the Alfredo pasta and tried it. It was very good, delicious in taste and presentation. Would I go again? No, but it was worth trying once. Also, while waiting in line, they offer you a tasting menu so you can get in right away. When we declined, they had to seat us for the à la carte menu. Despite the negative aspects, my overall rating is good because it was good.
11/06/2026: This is a truly wonderful place with excellent service and a great presentation of Alfredo pasta. You can tell the restaurant's history from the celebrities on the wall. It was an honor for us to sit at the table where Voldemort once ate pasta. I recommend trying the tomato plate and bruschetta bread as an antipasto. The photos are mine. Reservations are required.
