09/06/2026: The fried foods are good, and the Roman-style pizza is average. The atmosphere is comfortable. I'll be back to try the Rigatoni.

09/07/2026: I discovered this place by chance with my boyfriend. It's a small but cozy place, away from the chaos of Via Tiburtina—let's say it's a bit hidden. Prices are fair and the quality is good. I had the tagliolini with lobster, and they were really good. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back.

23/05/2026: Located near Olgiata in Rome, it's a charming and well-maintained place. The staff is friendly and attentive. I ordered a slice of meat and it was excellent, as was the crema catalana that rounded off the meal. The prices are fair. I highly recommend it.

27/06/2026: Since the restaurant doesn't have a written menu, I trusted the host, which turned out to be a serious mistake when I paid the final bill. The appetizers and first courses were good, but the meat was completely in need of improvement: scant and burned. As I've read in other reviews, I had the feeling I wasn't getting what I paid for.

24/05/2026: A wonderful evening with our cousins...a very characteristic location and traditional dishes...and then the visit of a Roman stornellatore enriched the evening. I recommend the place for the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owners.

14/05/2026: Let me start by saying that I'm a huge food and cooking enthusiast, and very critical of both my own and others' cooking: the welcome was superb. Martina was adorable, both on the phone and on-site, and the entire staff was truly friendly and super professional! Special praise also goes to the sommelier: highly knowledgeable, friendly, and never pretentious. The food was incredible, with a special mention for the fried tripe and the best breaded steak I've ever had—even grandmothers couldn't match it (they won't read us anyway!). It's a pleasure and a joy to find places like this. See you soon, and thank you!

10/05/2026: I have celiac disease, and my experience at this restaurant was very serious and dangerous. I ordered gnocchi alla romana because the menu didn't indicate gluten. To be extra safe, I also asked the staff for confirmation, and they assured me it was gluten-free. Only at the end of the dinner did a waitress come to tell me that the dish actually contained gluten and that there had been an error in the menu printing. Such a situation is unacceptable: for a celiac, it's not simply a dietary preference, but a health issue. Mistakes regarding allergens and careless information can have serious consequences. However, I must acknowledge that the owners were very understanding and helpful in handling the situation, immediately understanding the gravity of the situation. Furthermore, the food overall was good, and this review isn't intended to discredit the restaurant, but simply to warn other people with celiac disease or allergies/intolerances about the importance of having accurate and reliable information about allergens. I hope, however, that the restaurant takes immediate action regarding allergen management and staff training, because what happened should not have happened again.

27/05/2026: The best lasagna i have ever had. Without a doubt it was amazing the flavours and taste was out of this world! My Friends had Pasta and they said it was the best pasta ever! Besides food, it was really close to our hotel which i liked and it was really clean and well-kept. The service was really nice and helpful. I couldnt find a single thing wrong!

21/07/2026: It's overly famous. The food isn't bad, but the place is quite spartan, and the food is just okay. I don't know why it's so famous.

17/07/2026: Unacceptable, average food, terrible service, over an hour and a half wait for pizzas without anyone even bothering to let us know, with about 15 children waiting and not even the smartness to let the kids get theirs first and then the adults could have waited... all this with the arrogance, insolence, and rudeness of the cashier/manager who even pretended to be right because "if we wanted to eat quickly (under an hour and a half is fast according to him) we could have gone to McDonald's. They really lack the basics, incompetent.

29/06/2026: Finally, THE ROMAN CALZONE of my childhood, which I couldn't find anymore (filled with mozzarella, egg, and ham, with a lovely golden crust on the outside of egg and mozzarella), excellent. Family pizza night, quiet atmosphere, excellent service, excellent fried foods and pizza. Reservations recommended.

07/08/2026: We had a very good meal on the evening of August 4th. Excellent service and quality of food. Everything would have been perfect if one of the managers hadn't publicly berated several of his colleagues.

06/08/2026: Absolutely disgraceful service! We are visiting from the UK and decided to try what seemed to be a quaint, traditional Italian restaurant. Upon arrival, we were not acknowledged until we said we had a reservation to which the gentleman showed us through to our table. Throughout dinner our waiter was continuously rude, we tried our best to order & say thank you in Italian & got a rude corrective response (we know our pronunciation isn’t the best). Once we received our food we were stared at whilst eating. When I was done, I had not finished all of my food as I was too full & the waiter came over & asked if I was ‘too full’ or ‘didn’t like’ & I responded that I really enjoyed it & it was lovely. To which he replied ‘you are a bad liar’ with no humour & walked away with our plates. The waiter also took his fellow waiter aside & had a conversation which we can only assume was about us as this other waiter kept looking at us from around the curtain & laughing/smirking. We will not be returning, such a shame for what could have been a lovely dining experience. Not what we expected from other reviews at all!!

13/07/2026: A total rip-off. We went in because it had the feel of a typical neighborhood Italian restaurant, but it wasn't. First off, the service was incredibly slow, then they charged €3 for a bottle of water and €1 per person for 250g of stale bread. The supposedly traditional dishes were rather poor quality and overpriced. They quickly sent me back to the dining room, but the pasta dish cost €13. Don't even bother going in.

13/07/2026: To be honest, the food was quite disappointing. The dish I ordered was so simple that a 7-year-old could have easily prepared it at home. For the price we paid, I expected much better quality, preparation, and presentation. Furthermore, the service was incredibly slow. It took them ages to take our order and then to serve our food. What surprised us most was that a table that arrived after us received their food almost immediately, while we were still waiting. In terms of value for money, the experience was very disappointing, and personally, I wouldn't return.

12/05/2026: Disappointed, food was not good, we ordered pasta white porcini , and we received with champignon, poor taste. They charged me 5 euro more just for gluten free pasta. Don’t recommend.

08/08/2026: Dinner with friends. I'll start by saying that in Rome it was 35 degrees at 8:00 pm, so the place was very hot. The place was small, so we were too crowded. The waitress was nice and friendly, but one was too few. The food was good, the cacio e pepe wasn't very good, the meatballs were excellent, but a bit expensive for a trattoria. Overall, worth trying again in winter.
