12/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questa Osteria in occasione di una visita nella città di Rieti cucina come fossimo a casa degustato una bruschetta con lardo e miele , tagliolini alla carbonara , maltagliati alla velletrana , tagliolini con fave guanciale e pecorino , secondi piatti invece polpette al sugo , trippa alla romana e parmigiana di melanzane naturalmente non poteva mancare il dolce crostata con marmellata e mousse di ricotta con noci e rum i piatti erano tutti molto buoni il prezzo più che onesto il servizio veloce e professionale .

08/05/2025: Dopo una attenta ricerca con TripAdvisor decidiamo di fare una tappa a Rieti per pranzare e puntiamo forte su questo locale . A volte la tradizione ed il buon nome lascia a desiderare ma nel caso di specie viene gelosamente tramandata ai posteri . La struttura è caratteristica e ben accogliente ( una tipica osteria del luogo ) il personale disponibile e gentile pronta ad accompagnarti in questo viaggio culinario...iniziamo dalle pietanze : la parmigiana ( con il bis ) squisita , il galletto alla diavola con antipasto da asparagi da provare sempre ma la differenza è stata fatta dalle polpette veramente eccellenti ... Prezzo rapportato al gusto , (se vuoi mangiare bene devi spendere ) decisamente un esperienza positiva

22/07/2025: Fantastic restaurant, amazing terrasse, incredible staff and phenomenal food, not to mention the wine and the servers knowledge of wine. We give this restaurant 10/5, it was that good and we can’t wait to return on our next trip to Rome!

03/08/2025: Beautiful location in the heart of the city. It truly feels like being in the countryside. Ample and convenient parking. Very nice decor with some refined touches. Prompt and attentive service, good food, but the pizzas were too thin for me and had a few burnt edges, but they were still good. Good selection of wines and beers, good à la carte menu and not too demanding. Fair price. All it needed was some relaxing background music.

14/02/2025: Trattoria tipica, gestita da molti anni dalla stessa famiglia, dove trovate tutti i piatti romani della tradizione: amatriciana, carbonara, cacio e pepe (tutti ottimi e abbondanti), così come baccalà con patate (il venerdì), trippa (dovrebbe essere di sabato, ma sono chiusi, per cui la trovate il venerdì), e molti altri, tra cui carni di vario taglio alla piastra. Ottime le verdure ripassate in padella, dolci classici. Molto frequentata da lavoratori della zona o di passaggio, e da clienti affezionati che conoscono il posto (periferia sud di Roma, zona Magliana). Fermatevi a chiacchierare con il proprietario, nipote della vera signora Tedesca che ha dato il nome alla trattoria: memoria storica del posto, è una fonte inesauribile di aneddoti riguardanti la sua famiglia Italo-tedesca, nonché collezionista delle molte anticaglie che riempiono il locale. Prezzi più che onesti, data la qualità delle portate.

15/07/2025: Delicious seafood pasta dishes. The seafood toast was also delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. We sat outside, with a great atmosphere and very friendly service. The owners are always on hand to make sure everything is perfect. They have a wide variety of dishes and wines, too. Good location near the river and on a quiet corner.

09/08/2025: Family-run restaurant. The owner's father was an actor, and the restaurant is filled with memories of his father, including photos. Simple, authentic, typical Roman cuisine. Giggi's spaghetti alla gricia is excellent! Fantastic!

11/05/2025: Servicio encantador y acogedor hasta que un camarero joven, posiblemente relacionado con el propietario por lo que parece, se involucró en nuestro servicio y el de mesa al lado de la nuestra. Tosió dramáticamente en su mano mientras tomaba el orden de la siguiente mesa. En un tono extrañamente sarcástico, nos preguntó una vez terminada nuestra comida si queríamos café (no lo hicimos). Pedí la cuenta. Pagué usando mi tarjeta y aunque, resultó más tarde, de hecho funcionó, dijo groseramente "no funciona". Probé otra tarjeta, pero antes de hacerlo le pregunté si estaba bien, ya que parecía muy estresado o muy fu

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.

25/07/2025: We went here because a friend took us. It was a total disappointment: the meatball appetizer (the house specialty), the bland cacio e pepe pasta...no pepper, we had to ask for it on the side, and finally...the pasta was overcooked, even the carbonara was ordered by other diners. A good place (in my opinion) for tourists and inexperienced students. I don't think we'll return to this place. To be avoided.

14/07/2025: The pasta is really tasty (I haven't tried the pizza but it looked good... and they make it thin, thick or even pinsa), very pleasant atmosphere, good service times too.

13/07/2025: I went there last week for the first time and had a great meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and the service was truly excellent. I'll be back often.

07/08/2025: We entered the establishment and asked for service, but it was quite difficult to find. Once we found it, we went up and were given a table. We ordered, and the prices were low. However, when we asked for the bill, the prices went up, so we paid eight euros extra. This is a scam, because it was supposedly indicated on the menu that asking for a table would raise the prices, but they didn't give us a menu, so we couldn't see it. I just want to say that it's a scam, and it's unacceptable.

11/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per il compleanno di mio nipote. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante. Il personale è accogliente e verace e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. E' un locale semplice, ma si respira la genuinità dei proprietari e del loro cibo. Non bisogna essere sofisticati e non bisogna avere fretta. Se avete questi requisiti vi godrete un ottimo pasto, e due piacevoli chiacchiere con il proprietario.

23/07/2025: This is the sort of restaurant to be expected near a prominent tourist site like St. Peter’s Basilica - very average and catered to tourists. We were shocked that the Caesar salad was mixed greens topped with ham and drenched in a thick mustard dressing which tasted store bought. Perhaps this is the Roman version of the Caesar? It was not really edible since the salad was room temperature. The same with the Caprese - mozzarella slices were thick and hard and drenched in what seemed like a vinaigrette with dried oregano (very store bought), also at room temperature. The zucchini trio had thick thick batter, and the caco de pepe was very salty. The sauce for the fried fish was thick and unappetizing. The lemon sorbet came as a drink and not chilled. Overall quite disappointing.
