22/08/2024: Like feeling al dente. In an old commercial, rigatoni became the bulwark of a simple and ausonic authenticity in defense of the spread of a culinary Gallicism that implied a fatuous elegance... in short, rigatoni is better for feeling truly al dente. The author of the commercial was Fellini and after decades we still believe that the Maestro was right in celebrating the pasta format created to improve the hold of the sauce, a format that today we would define as smart. The idea of ​​taste optimization at the base of rigatoni lives again in this restaurant, near the dream factory that was Cinecittà, where we sometimes go with the family. It lives on for example in the combinations that weave together in the tuna tartare with citrus fruits, or in the cod meatballs served on a bed of chickpea humus or in the challenging potato, mozzarella and mushroom pie on parmesan fondue. It is exalted in the aubergine millefglie (a smart parmigiana I would dare say)......a river of flavors like the flow of sometimes dazzling thoughts à la "8 1/2". It relaunches itself in chestnut ravioli on gorgonzola and truffle fondue, decidedly in spaghetti with tuna, capers and Taggiasca olives (perhaps I would have insisted with lemon) or delicately with sea bass, bottarga and chopped pistachios... an "Amarcord" of regional flavors. It triumphs in the Danish sirloin cut, very tender, accompanied by very thin French fries....and here the game is simple and didactic: "i Vitelloni". Last but not least, "Dolce Vita" and sweet hot chocolate cake with zabaglione and chocolate chips, but also tiramisu in "Boccaccio ('70)", the preparation of which becomes a scheduled film on the screen. And even the large window overlooking the kitchen looks like a large 16/9 on which the "orchestra rehearsal" of food is staged. So "The road" to get from dreams to taste is traced by those intelligent lines that characterize Rigatoni.

29/08/2024: The food was average. Nothing out of this world. I ordered the chicken Romana and for the price (EUR 16) it should include accompaniment. The lasagna was good. What bothered me was that they offered tap water as soon as you entered to refresh yourself and then charged you 3 EUR for it, without warning. Also, afterwards, they charged 2.5 EUR more for a HORRIBLE bread box with 3 horrible supermarket breads that they brought. That's in addition to the 4 EUR service fee (which is common). I don't mind paying it, it bothers me that they try to trick you into asking for it. I haven't spent any time in any other trattoria

29/08/2024: I would say a disaster. One of the most evocative places in Pordenone managed like a suburban pizzeria. Loud music, 4 crazy kids at the tables and just passable food. Average high price

27/08/2024: Returned after a long time. The memory of Roman cuisine remains. Absolutely not recommended. I suggest that the managers at least change the cutlery that is too heavy and not comfortable.

14/08/2024: It definitely takes the trophy of my trip. We came because of a recommendation from a Roman girl, and frankly it was the best decision to go to this restaurant. I suggest making a reservation because they have a lot of people and especially local people, which tells you that there is good food. They have the best Cacio E Pepe spaghetti that I have ever had the fortune of trying SPECTACULAR!! And some magnificent pizzas. The service from Roberto was first class, a classy waiter with education! Plus, I was able to drink one of my favorite wines from Italy! The quality-price ratio is very fair! I will be back!!

18/08/2024: The food is good, but it's not enough to compensate for the service. Service that costs 2.50 per person, excluding bread. I would also be happy to pay but the price must be commensurate with what you receive. Very long waits, you have to ask several times for everything. Wrong dishes, more than once. The waiter spilled cutlery on my shirt, greasing it, and didn't ask if I needed stain remover. The owner is kind, the waiters themselves are nice but there is a total disorganization (dishes arriving at the same time, first and second together) which makes one irritated when faced with this service item €2.50 PER HEAD. Unfortunately the service does not it really exists.

17/08/2024: The meat and the first courses are good. Tripe and carbonara are special. The tonnarelli, sea bass, truffle and pecorino are amazing. Advised.

28/08/2024: Prima (e ultima) esperienza in questo locale. Bella la location (a un passo da piazza di Spagna ma in posizione tranquilla), gentili i camerieri, ma i piatti provati erano decisamente di scarsa qualità, specialmente rispetto al prezzo pagato. Probabilmente si rivolge a turisti (in gran parte stranieri) che tanto non torneranno comunque. Peccato perché così facendo perde i clienti romani e di business.

The food is simply exceptional with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes that enhance the flavors of the local cuisine. Each course was a tasteful discovery, from the first to the last bite! The owner is a welcoming and warm person who immediately makes you feel at home❤️ The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to recommend the perfect dish or the right wine to accompany it. The atmosphere is intimate and familiar, so if you are looking for a place to eat well and immediately feel at home, Hosteria la Fraschetta di Padre in Figlio is the ideal choice!!!!!

02/08/2024: Found this restaurant during a Google search and it was so good we went 2 nights in a row! The staff are very accommodating, especially when you get there around 10pm, it closes at midnight. The salmon and pesto pizza is a must try!

06/07/2024: Amo Vini e Buffet, perché? Oltre alla qualità ( sono malata per le insalate e la croccantezza della lattuga deve essere un must!), adoro come mi fa sentire quando mi siedo anche da sola o con delle amiche per prendere un mix di bruschette, con un insalata mediterranea. Per chi sta sempre a dieta come me o comunque ha bisogno di cibo sano, è il ristorante in centro dopo lo shopping a pranzo . Vegetariani e vegani ve lo consiglio. Do con gioia 20 euro persono felice per ripartire con la mia giornata.

26/06/2024: May 2024. 1pm, I find myself in Via del Corso, ravenous, under a burning sun, I'm hungry. Around the branches of hell they offer junk food at reckless prices. I am unworthy, I want to eat. I'm Italian and I want to eat well. I don't fall for these tourist showcases. I decide to make the old move: exit the main street. I entered the alleys of the center and found this lovely place, I sat down without pretensions. Marco welcomes me, a very nice waiter who, with his affable smile, accompanies me in what was my little idyll. He is a big fan of salads, how could you not be fascinated by his stories. I then order a crispy one, followed by a scamorza with salmon. SUBLIME. He accompanies me in this corner of urban paradise of the excellent Ribolla Gialla. I laugh, I joke, I play. I am fine! Today a melancholic streak comes over me and looking back at the photos of my stay in Rome I found a shot of the outside of this place. A smile breaks my face. What can I say other than thank you!
