20/08/2025: Horrible service. The staff weren't interested of serving us. When we ordered Dolce menu we only received the pizza. After 90 minutes of waiting we finally succeeded in gaining their attention. They brought us the check and tried to make us pay for the tiramisu we never received. Don't go there.

16/07/2025: Non un vero e proprio ristorante, molto più simile ad una trattoria vecchio stampo per i locali che offre, per i bagni ritagliati in pochi metri quadri, per lo stile vintage a dir poco di sedie e tavoli, per la caratteristica posizione interna ad una via appena dietro Piazza Navona: Navona Notte, ridenominata anche Senza Fondo, ti permette di assaggiare ogni tipo di tipico piatto romano grazie alla furba quanto intrigante formula All You Can Eat (a soli 19.50€ a pranzo, 25 a cena e nei weekend/festivi sempre). Le pietanze vengono servite in piatti da assaggio, in modo che ognuno possa testare un po’ tutto, sebbene la qualità non sia delle più eccelse, anzi… Presentazioni rivedibili, gusti lontani da quelli della tradizione: se dovessi scegliere, meglio i secondi come il saltimbocca e la polpetta al sugo piuttosto che primi come la cacio e pepe e la gricia, mentre piu accettabili mi sono sembrate essere carbonara e amatriciana (piatti comunque più ricchi e difficili da “sbagliare” in toto). Servizio altalenante, dipende da chi siete serviti: c’è chi è molto professionale e chi è più “ballerino”, ma nel complesso reputo l’esperienza fattibile proprio per la formula che offre. D’altra parte, accontentandosi e non cercando nulla di particolarmente elaborato, qui con 21€ a testa a pranzo si può uscire felici, sazi e carichi per ripartire a visitare Roma!

19/09/2025: The dinner is bland. Tasteless. The salmon is overcooked. The soft vegetables are beyond bland. Even salt doesn't make the meal more edible. The gnocci are big, mushy balls. Very poor service. When we asked for the bill, we were yelled at. A very negative experience. Please avoid this restaurant. Nothing at all to enjoy.

19/09/2025: Went there twice during our stay. On a terrace on a quiet little street. We ate well, especially the pasta with clams. We shared a plate of homemade desserts. Good place.

15/08/2025: The menu has limited choices and above-average prices, but the quality isn't consistent. It doesn't encourage you to return.

15/09/2025: We were on vacation for a couple of days and were staying in the area when we discovered this place. We arrived without a reservation on our first night, and the owner seated us in less than ten minutes (assuming the place was full). Once seated, we ordered a delicious mixed fried fish dish with their specialties (classic and unique suppli, radicchio and gorgonzola, cacio e pepe chips, and much more), three first courses (carbonara, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana), with the first and last courses, in my opinion, a step above the cacio e pepe. Not satisfied, we returned the next evening with the idea of ​​trying their pizzas (again, our fault for not having a reservation), but once again the owner seated us within five minutes. The pizzas: all delicious and very tasty, the amatriciana was a cut above, the truffle pizza was especially good, the ortolana was crispy and flavorful, and finally the Romana was delicious. I conclude by reiterating that for the price, this is the best. The place is nice and welcoming, the staff young, the owner serious, helpful, and professional. Greetings from the guys from Catania

14/09/2025: Not a great experience. Staff seemed unfriendly toward tourists and more focused on making money. Food and atmosphere were average, not worth the high price. We even saw them refilling still water bottles. Definitely not up to Italian restaurant standards, wouldn’t recommend.

25/07/2025: I normally don’t leave reviews but this was without a doubt the single worst meal of our trip and I would hate for someone else to waste a precious meal of their holiday on this restaurant. Tldr; don’t fall for the reviews and Bourdain effect—this is the biggest tourist trap with unbelievably rude staff, and you will regret wasting a dinner here. Food: I’ll start by noting that everything we ordered was a direct, although inexplicably reluctant, recommendation by our waiter. The fried zucchini blossoms were a tasteless, bready blob with a few flowers inside. We couldn’t bring ourselves to finish it. The famous cacio e pepe was fine but pretty dry and uneventful. The oriechette special with salted cod was maybe the worst pasta I have ever had. The sauce dried up on the hard pasta and the cod was extremely bland. We actually cancelled our secondi because the food was so bad, which I have never had to do before. Drink: We ordered two beers and a water, all of which came out lukewarm. We didn’t complain about it because we didn’t want to bother the servers who seemed busy and were already being cold to us, but couldn’t have done so anyways given it was impossible to flag anybody down all evening. Service: So cold and impatient to our table from the very beginning when we asked for recommendations with our order. Also took away our plates with more than half of the food left unfinished and didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay. To add insult to injury, our waiter (after three separate requests for the check) dropped off our bill and said “service is not included.” Which was insane because (1) restaurants in Rome typically do not apply service charges, (2) literally what service and (3) the bill had a 3 euro charge for “pane e service” ?? When asked about this the waiter just said that it was a fee for bringing out plates and cups to our table and said all restaurants do this— we’ve literally never seen this charge on any of our meals in Rome. When asked why we received no bread when the charge says “pane” he said it was our fault for not requesting bread. Rome is an amazing city with more incredible restaurants than any of us have time for in a single visit. There is no reason to spend any of your hard earned time and money at this restaurant that will happily serve its customers miserable food under the guise of being gourmet, even if Anthony Bourdain did eat here 14 years ago.

25/07/2025: One of the worst value meals I’ve had, not only in Italy but throughout the world. Terrible service, lukewarm beer and food so bad that we cancelled our secondi plates after our first few bites. The place is also packed with loud American college kids; I doubt an Italian has eaten here in years.

31/08/2025: The food is acceptable, but the service is poor. They try to scam you, trying to charge more for dishes than the menu says. Always check the bill because they had to change the ticket for our table and the next two.

16/09/2025: Typical castle location and interesting, really good bread. A delicious carbonara. Always good.

14/09/2025: I went last night for the first time, and I have to say it was a disappointment. We had chosen a set menu, there were five of us, but one of us didn't want the set menu and asked the girl serving us if he could order something else (obviously paying the difference). The answer was all or none (if I go to a restaurant, I can't be forced to order what they say). Anyway, we ordered an appetizer and two first courses. The appetizer consisted of a micro ovolina each, a few olives, a slice of prosciutto, a slice of loin, and a slice of salami, a spoonful of triippa each, and a spoonful of chickpeas (I think). That was the end of the appetizer. Let's move on to the first courses. On a single plate, fettuccine with mushrooms (3 forkfuls) and ravioli with tomato sauce (I think 4). End of dinner. Definitely to be cancelled. .

20/07/2025: We came here based on the recommendation from our hotel looking for more local and less touristy food. So glad we did! The food was outstanding and the wait staff was incredibly helpful. We asked them to recommend the best dishes and they didn’t let us down. We started with the house made beef carpaccio (which is the best I have ever had) and 3 meatballs. The pasta was perfectly al dente. We finished with the dish if the day, which was a swordfish. It was moist (I never eat swordfish since it is so dry) and the olive, tomato, caper sauce on it was outstanding. I have seen other reviews complain about the service, but that wasn’t the case with our visit. Both of our waiters were overly attentive. (I am used to European service and don’t expect a lot of “is everything ok”, in fact I appreciate it in Europe.). Make sure to try the Vermentino from Sardinia. It was perfectly dry and crisp

08/07/2025: The full roman experience! Thank you to the team at Pastificio for a wonderful time. I went for both lunch and dinner and was treated to some truly fantastic hand made pasta dishes! Being the greedy individual that I am I also ate their bbqed lamb ribs and their antipasti's and desserts! Their cocktails and the team behind the bar are super knowledgeable and friendly. A great place to chill with your friends, or make friends with the guys at the bar!

08/07/2025: The food was excellent, especially the ravioli, made with beautifully rough pasta and a delicious filling. The menu offers several vegetarian options. The place is very charming, modern, and has vintage touches (the pommel horse bench was a real hit). Very friendly staff.

11/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale per il compleanno di mio nipote. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante. Il personale è accogliente e verace e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa. E' un locale semplice, ma si respira la genuinità dei proprietari e del loro cibo. Non bisogna essere sofisticati e non bisogna avere fretta. Se avete questi requisiti vi godrete un ottimo pasto, e due piacevoli chiacchiere con il proprietario.
