06/09/2025: Terrible service. My son ordered a tagliata, and a plate with spoiled meat arrived. My plate never arrived, so much so that I skipped dinner, especially since, after seeing and smelling the meat that arrived, I couldn't have eaten anything. The service was nonexistent, and the chef and the restaurant manager apologized, but if my son had eaten the tagliata, he would have ended up in the hospital. This place needs to be destroyed.

05/09/2025: Breakfast for three in August costs almost €30. You can get lunch in Rome for the same amount. Nice atmosphere and good ingredients, but the prices are outrageous.

07/09/2025: Excellent Roman pizza. It's the thin Roman pizza, almost crunchy, like very few others in Rome. It's a maxi pizza, really well-topped, thin, and therefore well-cooked. Recommended

21/09/2025: We wanted to visit the ghetto area and this restaurant popped up so we went along , the staff were so friendly. Food was delicious and reasonable priced , while we was there tour groups just kept on coming in to eat and drink so if your visiting the jewish ghetto pop in day hello to makram definitely worth a visit

04/06/2025: Frequento questo ristorante regolarmente e ogni volta è una conferma: semplicemente eccellente. Dall’antipasto fino al secondo, tutto è sempre curato nei minimi dettagli. In particolare, la guancia è stata spettacolare: tenera, saporita e cotta alla perfezione. Il personale è sempre cordiale, disponibile e molto attento, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e piacevole. Una nota di merito anche per il vino, consigliato direttamente dal proprietario: una scelta azzeccatissima che ha esaltato i sapori dei piatti. Un posto che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca qualità, calore e una cucina davvero appagante.

05/07/2025: This evening despite the heat I decided to go out with friends to eat. We chose to come to this historic restaurant that has a large outdoor space under the olive trees. The slightly milder temperature under the trees allowed us to better enjoy the excellent dishes. The staff was courteous and attentive to the needs of the customers. A truly beautiful experience to be repeated soon.

26/06/2025: Very spacious place with furnishings that recall old farmhouses, abundant furnishings that meet and clash with each other with a thin layer of dust that makes everything uniform. The cuisine is aimed at an audience that certainly does not seek novelty, some flights of fancy with a lopsided landing. The large garden is very beautiful.

04/09/2025: A quaint place to enjoy a meal elbow-to-elbow with other tables. The appetizer was served after the pasta on a table with a stained tablecloth. The pasta alla matriciana was served in a pan that was floating in oil. The only positive note was the cash register, the prices were normal.

11/09/2025: Avoid! - Lasagna Ragout? "There isn't any." - OK. - Small bottle of still water? "We only have large ones, still, and small but sparkling." - OK, a large one will do... - Platter of cold cuts! Served without bread, you have to ask for it, and surprise, surprise, it'll be charged on the bill! OK... - Long wait for the next courses.... - No salt on the table, you have to ask for it too, and the waiter came back to get it while we were eating??? 🤣 (we realized it too late, and I should point out that there weren't many people there) - Potatoes supposed to be a side dish became (and were charged) as a separate dish. OK! To top it all off, the owner was really rude to us when we started explaining that some things weren't quite right, even arrogantly asking, "But you ate everything, didn't you?", "But in France, at that price, you can't even get into a restaurant!", "I know Paris, right?"... She almost seemed delighted to see us dissatisfied... A pathological case isn't far off, if you ask me! The comments from other dissatisfied customers fit our experience quite well: average and, above all, expensive dishes for what they are, lousy service, and an unhealthy and unpleasant owner. We'll quickly forget this establishment, which won't tarnish our fond memories of Rome. 😉

19/08/2025: Emilio. That’s the reason we’ll go back — and of course for the wonderful food at a fair price. When searching for the right spot, my priorities were clear: *** I wanted an authentic Roman restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, one that served true Roman cuisine and wasn’t overrun with tourists.*** Around lunchtime, I stumbled across this gem and noticed many locals enjoying their meals — always the best sign. I stepped inside to learn more, and saw even more locals! So after a quick greeting and a few words with Emilio, I knew immediately this was where we’d go for dinner. That evening, with dear friends flying in from California for their first night in Rome, the stakes were high — I wanted their welcome dinner to be memorable. I had requested a quaint table best suited for our group of six, and Emilio delivered. His personality shined throughout the evening, embodying why Italians are frequently known as the world’s most passionate hosts when it comes to sharing food and wine. We all selected widely different items from the menu, AND you know a dish is truly good when everyone insists others around the table taste it. But it was Emilio’s engaging hospitality that made the night unforgettable. **Many thanks, Emilio and staff — from all six of us. We’ll be back.**

14/09/2025: We'd been here for lunch on a Saturday in June and loved it, which is why I gave it five stars for the food and atmosphere. We'd gladly repeated the experience, and yesterday, after checking the website to see if it was open, we went, confident we'd be able to eat nicely outdoors in a nice place. We entered the restaurant where some people were having lunch, but no one greeted us at the door. A young woman sitting there, very hastily, and without looking at us, told us, "We're closed for lunch." We left disappointed, with no apology for the inconvenience or even a goodbye. I'm sorry for what happened, but it certainly wasn't our fault alone. Maybe update the information next time and greet customers with a smile, and maybe I'll try to come back. What a shame.

14/09/2025: The service staff are great. You feel like you're part of the family. Delicious food. We had tripe and beans with pork rind. The first course was fettuccine with cherry tomatoes, chanterelles, and pecorino cheese. The second course was grilled sausage with chicory. The tiramisu was also excellent. We'll be back.
