My son is a carbonara fanatic and wants to go to Rome to eat real Roman carbonara. But we didn't have to go that far: the carbonara at Du Cesari is spectacular, and the amatriciana is just as good.
Serena and the entire staff were very welcoming and kind.
We will definitely be back.

Having just arrived in Turin, we stumbled upon this little restaurant which, despite its unassuming exterior, immediately made us feel like we were in Italy. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant and family-friendly, all at a very reasonable price.

Excellent restaurant, very welcoming and Roman. One of the waiters is very Roman, which is a plus. The owner is very friendly and professional. The dishes are delicious and quite generous, especially the first courses. The Carciofo alla Francescana was fantastic, better than many I've eaten in Rome!

If you want to make your taste buds explode, Du Cesari is the place to be. Excellent food and decidedly bold flavors. Delicious! 🤤
The portions are quite generous.
I didn't fully appreciate the place, unfortunately a bit small, and the service. The staff were good, but the owner shouting their names every few seconds was a bit disturbing.

We booked dinner for four in the outdoor dining room. Unfortunately, the place isn't the most beautiful, but the service was top-notch. Excellent value.

Average experience.
Some dishes are amazing, like the cacio e pepe, others are meager, like the supplì.
I left feeling moderately satisfied, but let's just say that if I had paid an average of two euros less per dish, it would have been better, or for what we paid, I wish I had eaten better.
The first courses are definitely their strong point.
Worth trying again for a second opinion.

A perfect Roman evening, except for the Totti shirt, 😅, professional service, excellent atmosphere, a memorable abbacchio a scottadito with touching puntarelle, I will definitely return.
