13/05/2026: A complete disappointment. The pizza base is removed from the plastic packaging and baked with toppings. You order drinks from one waiter and food from another – strange. Overall, a waste of time; I don't know where these positive reviews are coming from. Tasteless.

13/05/2026: We went to the trattoria based on recommendations we received for good value for money, which is true. We faced a short queue, but the friendliness of the employee who greeted us made up for it. We sat outside, and the bonus was a view of the Colosseum. We ordered the tomato suppli as an appetizer (a fried rice ball), shrimp risotto, carbonara, and lasagna, accompanied by a liter of house red wine. The best dish was the carbonara, very tasty. The lasagna was very good. The risotto left much to be desired, including the seasoning, but especially because there was an expectation of having some shrimp in the dish and only 1 came. We found this very disappointing. They don't charge a cupperto or a fixed tip, you give what you think is best. The employees are really very kind and friendly and do everything for good service. It's the restaurant's biggest highlight. Regarding the environment, I deducted one star because of the bathroom, as there was only one stall available for everyone (creating a queue) and the tap didn't work (they connected a hose to a tap below to turn it on when washing hands). I believe they could have paid more attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom and to this tap issue.

10/05/2026: Even though the prices aren't exactly "the cheapest," I can say the quality of the food is excellent. Yesterday I went to lunch with Lara Popa, the three-time world fitness champion, and since she was my guest, I wanted her to try the famous "Roman carbonara." So, after a tour of Rome, I took her to Tivoli, the city where I live. On the recommendation of a friend and considering that she preferred to sit outside, I chose this place. In the end, it was a great decision. We ordered a Roman artichoke and the famous carbonara. None of us left anything on our plates, especially Lara, who follows a very strict diet. P.S.: I'm sorry the lady at the restaurant was a little disappointed by our decision not to drink even a glass of wine, but Lara, being in full preparation for the World Championships, can't even smell alcohol. I recommend this place. We'll definitely be back. P.S.2.: an extra star for the waiter, who was very kind.

03/05/2026: I recommend it, it's hard to find a free seat at lunchtime. The porceta is excellent, as it is a traditional dish of this region.

29/04/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!!! We discovered this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from an Italian host and decided to go without hesitation. We arrived at 12:30 PM, but the owner told us they opened at 1:00 PM. So we waited 30 minutes in a nearby café. When we returned at 1:00 PM, we found that customers were already seated and several tables were empty. Yet, he asked us to come back at 2:00 PM, without any explanation. Frankly, they are the rudest people we have ever met. If we had seen the reviews beforehand, we never would have gone. A very bad experience on our first day in Rome. Of course, you don't wait to pay for this kind of disrespectful behavior.

04/06/2026: Cute little location with lots of seating so getting a spot was little problem. Food was great! Especially the meatball entree with a nice rich tomato sauce . Pizza also great crust. Service was very slow was only complaint. Waited a very long time to get just our drinks.

11/01/2026: I've known this place and been going there for years. Lately, I've noticed that, while the prices aren't exactly cheap, the quality has deteriorated.

19/12/2025: Best place in the area for an aperitivo. Wide selection of cocktails, generous platters full of delicious treats, friendly and welcoming staff. My colleagues and I were regulars; I even organized a couple of events there for about 30 people at a time, and everyone was happy. Unfortunately, they've now moved offices and we're no longer at the Torrino. We miss you so much, Flowery!!!

11/01/2026: We really liked our room here. It was in a great area to walk to all the attractions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because the beds were a little to hard for us. The restaurants and shops outside our room was pretty loud late into the evening. The walls are thin so expect to here others but not too bad. The bathroom is small but had everything you needed. I would say if you're a larger person it would be tight. We're small peeps so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall nice place to stay.

27/04/2026: We visited this restaurant as a group of nine, paying €40 each for a menu that was disappointing to say the least. The appetizers were embarrassing: one round of eggplant, zucchini, and bell pepper each. The artichoke alla giudia was incredibly tough and badly fried, almost inedible. The first course was even worse: for nine people, only two small trays were brought to share, which were decidedly inadequate. The cacio e pepe was poorly made, overcooked, and practically devoid of sauce, while the gnocchi with sausage and spare ribs didn't solve the problem. To top it all off, despite there being nine of us, only eight tiramisus arrived (which were also of poor quality and not at all good). The icing on the cake? Heartburn that lasted all night. Terrible value for money and a complete lack of customer service. We will never return. In addition, the environment was poorly maintained and gave the impression of an unclean place.

12/04/2026: We were clearly very unlucky; it seems the "owner" had been feeling unwell that afternoon, and the sole waiter was acting as cook, waiter, cashier, and cleaner. The food was improvised (except for the delicious Jewish-style artichokes, the battered vegetables were also fine; the meatballs in tomato sauce had more bread than meat; the tagliatelle with ragù was more tomato than ragù and made with industrial-strength tagliatelle; four other dishes from the rather limited menu we ordered were sold out). The wait was obviously extremely long (over an hour for the first course), the bill was decidedly high considering the service (€25 per person for half an appetizer each plus one main course, with a quarter of wine for four, it's not a trattoria-style bill, especially not with this kind of food and service), and the cleanliness was very questionable. On a positive note, the waiter was friendly.

11/06/2026: We had to wait in line because we went without a reservation. It had just opened after lunchtime, and since everyone with reservations had just been seated, we waited quite a while even though we were first in line. You need to be prepared for this; you constantly wait in lines in Rome, and this can sometimes be exhausting. We went for the Alfredo pasta and tried it. It was very good, delicious in taste and presentation. Would I go again? No, but it was worth trying once. Also, while waiting in line, they offer you a tasting menu so you can get in right away. When we declined, they had to seat us for the à la carte menu. Despite the negative aspects, my overall rating is good because it was good.

11/06/2026: This is a truly wonderful place with excellent service and a great presentation of Alfredo pasta. You can tell the restaurant's history from the celebrities on the wall. It was an honor for us to sit at the table where Voldemort once ate pasta. I recommend trying the tomato plate and bruschetta bread as an antipasto. The photos are mine. Reservations are required.

02/06/2026: The service was way too fast. We still had our appetizers and the main courses arrived. I've had better carbonaras. Porchetta was very cold. Overall, I didn't like it.

02/06/2026: I don't often go to "Fraschette" for lunch or dinner, but believe me, it's been a while since I've eaten so well!!! Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

05/05/2026: Very friendly, relaxed, and personal. That's exactly what I imagine a small, authentic family-run business to be like. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a relaxed and authentic meal away from mass tourism, this is the place for you.

03/05/2026: My friend and I went and they gave us overcooked rigatoni alla matriciana, which was obviously reheated, and after 5 minutes they served fresh pasta to all the tables near us. Didn't we deserve a decent meal too? Rude!!

19/08/2025: Ichiban Ramen & Street Food 1. Location (Access, Parking): Next to Hotel Marisa 2-minute walk from Rome Train Station 2. Hours (Closed, Break Times, Wi-Fi): Open 24/7, no breaks, free Wi-Fi 3. Friendliness: Not friendly, but not rude either. It's chic. 4. Cleanliness: Overall, it was clean (the bathroom was clean too). 5. Menu & Taste: Ichiban Ramen & Donburi (Meat Bowl) I was craving Korean food and was planning to visit a Korean restaurant, but luckily, there was a Japanese restaurant my family loves right next to our hotel. The ramen we ordered was light, not salty, and delicious. The meat bowl donburi was also delicious, with a sweet pork rib marinade and easy-to-eat cubes of meat. The interior had a Japanese feel, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try Japanese food in Europe.

09/05/2026: My wife and I had a perfect evening at Grottino 1912. We started with an excellent egg with tuna sauce, followed by a creamy carbonara and textbook Roman-style involtini. The zabaglione and biscotti finale was the icing on a truly memorable dinner. Authentic Roman cuisine, just like it used to be. The atmosphere is quaint. We'll definitely be back!

07/05/2026: The waiters were completely confused and confused, the food was mediocre and the quality mediocre, the orders were wrong, and the dishes were lost... and the restaurant wasn't even full. "Sorry, we'll make it up to you," they said, but they forgot even that promise, not offering a cookie or a small discount.
