16/08/2024: Abbiamo deciso di cenare dopo il consiglio di nostri amici romani. Cucina della tradizione ma anche piatti nazionali. Suggerisco di assaggiare la gricia, davvero buona. Un ringraziamento speciale a Rohi, gentilissimo e molto professionale. Ci torneremo!

30/08/2024: In the wide supply of roman cousine available in the Ghetto, I enjoyed "Gricia con I Carciofi" by La Taverna. The chruncy artichokes and the semiliquid pecorino sauce were delicious.

29/08/2024: Sora Margherita is an absolute guarantee! It offers classic recipes of Roman cuisine. It welcomes you in a classic tavern environment with wooden tables and paper tablecloths but its authentic cuisine makes you feel like a King! His Giudia-style artichoke is inimitable, the pasta offered with various sauces is handmade and takes you back to the flavors of your grandmother. The fettuccine with cheese, pepper and ricotta, the meat agnolotti and, when available, the rigatoni with pajata will make you understand why there is always a queue and without a reservation it is impossible to enter! The meatballs in roulade sauce melt in your mouth and to finish the ricotta Nutella and Grand Marnier will send you to Heaven.

23/08/2024: Lorsque vous êtes des touristes ou que vous ne parlez tout simplement pas italien, on vous accueille sans sourire. On nous installe sur une table bancale car dans le trou d'une bouche d'égout, toujours avec cette même froideur. Un couple italien arrive quelques secondes plus tard et se voit attribuer une table bien illuminée et stable... (celle-ci était déjà disponible lorsque nous étions arrivés) Les plats ne cassaient pas trois pâtes à un canard et étaient tièdes (pâtes cacio e pepe et une part de parmigiana) De plus, les locaux avaient le droit à de l'eau en carafe (du robinet) alors que la serveuse nous a ramené de l'eau en bouteille (payante). En regardant sur les tables, nous avons vu que seulement les touristes avaient de l'eau en bouteille. Aussi, il faut compter 2€/personne pour le service... Je ne conseille absolument pas ce restaurant qui nous était pourtant recommandé par un guide...

05/05/2024: I went there yesterday with a friend and we had a great meal, excellent service. We had a carbonara and a pasta with sauce, devoured in a second by the goodness.

14/06/2024: Incontrato per caso posto nascosto per chi non conosce la zona me ne hanno parlato e ci sono andato locale molto rustico con attrezzi da cucina antichi locale frequentato generalmente da camionisti quindi si mangia bene e operai della zona

26/07/2024: The service was far from good. We asked the very flirty waiter multiple times to order drinks when we sat down to get started after a long trip to Milano. He spent over 30 minutes prepping the table without taking our order first. The food arrived well over an hour after we had sat down. And the last person got served 45 minutes after the second to last person got served. Most of the drinks and wine was served after the food came in the table in very random order. After a while the waiter mentioned we should have more patience as he was not serving Chinese style?!?!?! The restaurant tried to make up for it at the end. But that was just too late. You know the feeling when the whole meal and everything you order is all about how long till the waiter responds and how long before it arrives at the table?! The food and quality was alight. We have luckily experienced great service else where in Milano. Spend your time and money else where.

08/08/2024: Initially they didn't bring us the menu and after quite some time, while they were chatting with other guests, we had to ask for it. With only 4 first courses and a few other customers we waited more than an hour and a quarter. Furthermore, the carbonara had very little bacon and the cacio e pepe was very dry. They also didn't even have the second one requested and they don't serve coffee.

06/08/2024: Totally recommended restaurant, authentic Italian pasta, you could tell that it is homemade food, I would definitely repeat.

17/07/2024: Unfortunately only one ticket office opened at 10.30. After almost 20 minutes in line, a friendly cashier informed me that the dish I wanted was not available “today”. Thousands are probably fed here during peak travel time (not exactly cheap, but, hey, there's an airport too), but it would be nice if it was a little better organized.

01/08/2024: Very good, plentiful and quality food. Typical Roman dishes were tried, such as caccio peppe pasta. Service from the waiter was first class, but what was wrong was the cashier, a thick and dry lady, as they don't accept digital cards, only physical ones. Any simpler establishment in the region accepts digital cards, such as Nomad, Wise, among others.

20/07/2024: Pizza chewy and difficult to digest. Poor appetizers and tacos. The fried foods are normal. Excellent service and nice location. Too bad about the quality of the food.

26/08/2024: Courteous and punctual welcome, excellent pizza and the rest that arrived at our table, however I find the arrangement of the outdoor tables absurd where the distance between one table and another was perhaps about twenty centimeters and the poor waiters seemed circus acrobats while serving between tables.

24/08/2024: Frascati has its charm, the little square where you also eat. The pizza was a disappointment, perhaps my expectations were excessive. the service did not meet the needs. A few too many breaks.

24/07/2024: Bella posizione in una zona tranquilla nella parte più vecchia della Garbatella. Data la disponibilità di spazio, i tavoli potrebbero essere più distanziati e meno striminziti. Insistiamo col cameriere per avere i menu cartacei, ma poi risulta che aveva anche lui un po' ragione a volerci dire a voce il menu perchè metà dei piatti non ci sono. Carta dei vini limitata. Rigatoni all'amatriciana buoni, coratella con carciofi discreta, cotolette panate di agnello buone, cipolle al gratin pure, coda alla vaccinara con sugo non abbastanza ristretto, quindi leggermente insipida, dolce ricotta e visciole buono. Prezzi medi (42 a testa, con molte bottiglie di acqua ma una sola di vino), ma non fidatevi delle foto di menu pubblicati online, i prezzi attuali sono del 30% più alti

21/07/2024: Characteristic Roman restaurant in the heart of Garbatella, managed by friendly and approachable staff. The specialties of Roman cuisine are excellent.

12/08/2024: Location “concreta” e di sostanza, gradevolissimo pergolato con tavoli ben apparecchiati. Interni caldi e accoglienti. Cucina del territorio solida e molto ben caratterizzata, piatti bene eseguiti. Rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato. Molto molto bene.

03/08/2024: Il posto molto carino e tipico, molto accogliente e con cibo ottimo! L’unica cosa che avrei da dire è che le porzioni sono molto tirate. Però è un mosto che consiglierei a tutti, buon appetito.

29/06/2024: Sono scioccata che un ristorante conosciuto come Mezzo non abbia cibo fresco da proporre ai suoi clienti. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare tipo di pasta nella loro cacio e pepe e non e' statp possibile, abbiamo chiesto del pesce senza aglio e non e' stato possibile. Queste cose ci hanno fatto pensare che la maggior parte delle loro proposte sia cibo precotto per ristoranti (come quello dei bar per gli ignari turisti) ma con il prezzo come se fosse tutto espresso, fresco e cucinato da cuochi. L'unica cosa che sono riusciti a portarmi è stata della cicoria all'agro e il condimento di olio sale e limone e' arrivato dopo 15 minuti Purtroppo ogni portata e' stata deludente e cattiva. Non ci ritorneremo mai più
