10/07/2026: Last night I took a dip into the Rome of yesteryear, the one where you'd go for fried fish in a simple, authentic restaurant. The Rome where you could actually feel the Tiber flowing beside you. This is Ristorante Al Biondo Tevere: family-run, with a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, filled with smiles, tradition, and flavors that take you back in time. A place where you don't just go to eat, but to experience a piece of that Rome that, fortunately, still exists if you're looking for it. Our seafood dinner was excellent: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and friendly service. I recommend it not only for the food, but also for the splendid balcony overlooking the Tiber, which, on summer evenings, is truly worth experiencing.

16/06/2026: The food was expensive and unpalatable, but that wasn't the biggest problem. The biggest problem was that some of the staff were incredibly irritable. I asked what a dish was like in English, but the server only said one sentence, took the menu, and left, leaving me unsure if the dish had been ordered. Later I discovered it hadn't been ordered at all. I don't know if the server was in a bad mood, or if she was just annoyed with customers who didn't speak Italian, or if it was discrimination?

14/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The place is clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly and attentive (especially Gianmarco), and the food is delicious. I recommend trying the squid ink tortelloni with cuttlefish and shrimp in a seafood carbonara sauce—a truly exceptional dish! We'll definitely be back.

11/01/2026: We really liked our room here. It was in a great area to walk to all the attractions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars was because the beds were a little to hard for us. The restaurants and shops outside our room was pretty loud late into the evening. The walls are thin so expect to here others but not too bad. The bathroom is small but had everything you needed. I would say if you're a larger person it would be tight. We're small peeps so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall nice place to stay.

07/07/2026: Compared to various experiences in past years, the standard and quality of both the dishes and the service have dropped significantly. On the other hand, prices have gone up, as per the attached receipt. The dishes were mediocre, not bad, but lacking the authenticity of the previous management. The side dish, a very small portion, tasted like frozen vegetables from the supermarket. It's unfortunate that the waiter wanted to sell us extra dishes (including an appetizer while we waited, which we gave in to—absolutely disappointing). Bread and cover charge were €3, but they didn't even bring us the bread! It's a shame to have lost a point of reference for authentic Roman cuisine...

22/06/2026: A piece of Roman history. I thought it would disappoint me, I thought it was just another restaurant that thrives on its profits. Instead... I discovered it's under new management, but the food is excellent! Honest, straightforward cuisine! Everything is exceptional!

05/07/2026: Don’t be fooled by the touristy location or the typically deceptive traditional appearance: this Place is a no-nonsense roman trattoria where you can still get what you pay for, and even get a nice discount! No wonder it may be packed at times: just wait for your turn or come back after a stroll in the beatiful Rione Monti. Much more advertised places are no match for this Fork (in italian, la Foirchetta)

05/07/2026: Horrible place. The pizza was reheated and tasteless. All the reviews about the "family feel" and "compliments from the chef" were a complete lie: the food was terrible, and we didn't receive any compliments.

06/06/2026: A decidedly awful experience. The place seemed poorly maintained: the floor was so sticky that even moving the chairs was a pain. I wasn't convinced by the service either: despite the restaurant being almost empty, we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take our order, only to feel like we were being hastily dismissed before we'd even finished speaking. Given the place's reputation, I was definitely expecting more. I ordered a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, and honestly, it was one of the least satisfying pizzas I've had in recent memory: lacking flavor, ingredients that didn't seem well-balanced, and a tomato that, to my taste, tasted practically raw. Personally, I don't recommend it, especially considering that in the Flaminio area there are much better places to eat with better quality and more attentive service.

25/05/2026: Authentic Roman pizza! Thin and crispy with quality toppings. The food is also excellent. Highly recommended.

22/02/2026: Terrible service... 20 minutes for a menu, an hour for an appetizer of only cured meats, my girlfriend had to get up and ask for the dishes. An hour eating only bread, disoriented waiters, no organization... I closed a liter of house wine and I received half a liter... I came in at 1:00 and at 2:30 they brought me the appetizer... the first courses arrived, overcooked gnocchi and raw fettuccine with porcini mushrooms... I won't tell you the rest...

09/11/2025: I'd give it a zero but I can't. Walked in at 2pm on a Sunday for only 2 people, only wanting pasta and maybe lasagna. They told us they had no tables. There were tables all around, inside and out. So I went inside and asked in Italian pointing to multiple empty tables. They said nothing. Bad service. Bad ristorante. Find another place to eat. We did. Love Italy, love Sicily but some people don't want to be kind, courteous or friendly. Skip this place!!

30/10/2025: We searched high and low on the block vetween 57 and 67 and could not find this restaurant. Need better location information. Menu sounds great

14/07/2026: An absolute highlight in Rapallo! For starters, we had the seafood salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad. For our main courses, we had spaghetti alle vongole and spaghetti with prawns – and every single dish was outstanding. Everything was fresh, authentic, and prepared with great care. The seafood, in particular, was of excellent quality. The service was also exceptional: warm, attentive, and very professional. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everything was perfect for us – the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality. If we're ever in Rapallo again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
