13/01/2026: The waitress was rude, took forever to bring the food, and got the wrong dish. On top of that, she acted like she was on our good side. The food was awful—the tripe was raw, the cannelloni were hard with a mediocre filling, and the pizza was so thin, hard, and tasteless it was burnt flour. The place was filthy, the bathroom was a pigsty, the staff were rude and shouted at each other, and the manager kept interrupting the customers with his cheap jokes. Don't go.

19/12/2025: We ate very well, I especially loved the cod croquettes and the homemade tagliatelle with guinea fowl ragù and truffle.

31/01/2026: A truly lovely surprise. Lost among the many restaurants in Trastevere, we found this little place—not in the diminutive sense, but in the welcoming and warm sense. Excellent hospitality and friendly service. The best carbonara I've had in a long time.

01/02/2026: Magnà in name and in fact. The appetizers are good, but the carbonara pasta is below average for Rome: overcooked and stuck together, with a bland sauce. Service is slow and confusing; we had to ask for the gricia without artichokes three times because it kept arriving incorrectly. The desserts are very subpar.

15/12/2025: Terrible experience!!! It's the first time I've sat down to eat in an empty place and been kicked out, told there were no tables and everything was reserved. They don't serve foreigners and treat you badly. A disaster. However, the waiters and kitchen staff are foreigners. DON'T GO!

09/11/2025: I'd give it a zero but I can't. Walked in at 2pm on a Sunday for only 2 people, only wanting pasta and maybe lasagna. They told us they had no tables. There were tables all around, inside and out. So I went inside and asked in Italian pointing to multiple empty tables. They said nothing. Bad service. Bad ristorante. Find another place to eat. We did. Love Italy, love Sicily but some people don't want to be kind, courteous or friendly. Skip this place!!

30/10/2025: We searched high and low on the block vetween 57 and 67 and could not find this restaurant. Need better location information. Menu sounds great

02/03/2026: Frozen pizza, carbonara is scrambled eggs. They charge 7 euros for limoncello, and you never know how much you can drink. It's a disaster. I really don't recommend this restaurant.

02/03/2026: The food is terrible. The carbonara is just scrambled eggs, the pizza tastes and looks frozen, and the breaded chicken cutlet is awful. They also cheat on the receipt, charging you for things you didn't actually order. I regret ever paying that 60 euros. It was the worst money I spent in Rome.

04/07/2025: Fui a Egg Pasta para almorzar y la comida era increíble. El personal fue extremadamente amable y tradicional, y la pasta estuvo lista en 10 minutos después de realizar el pedido.

01/03/2026: We sat down for a drink and pizza, it's a very cozy place, the owner asked where we were from and greeted us in Hungarian. The aperol was very delicious and pleasantly effective, the pizza was also delicious.

12/02/2026: Unfortunately, I'm unlucky. The first time, after an hour of waiting and the restaurant was full, they told me to wait another 30 minutes and I left. The second time, the first course was served 40 minutes later, after having served the others at my table! I ate alone; the others had finished a while ago! This was after I urged the waiters several times. The service was terrible, a shame.

03/01/2026: We first visited this restaurant on December 30, 2025, for dinner, drawn by its proximity to our Airbnb. We ordered the Maialino Porchettato (spit-roasted suckling pig with potatoes), which came with generous portions—two thick, juicy slices per serving—accompanied by roasted potatoes. Complimentary bread were also provided, and we were so impressed by the flavor and presentation that we made a reservation to return on New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, our second visit was deeply disappointing. We ordered Fritto Calamari e Gamberi as a starter and three portions of the Maialino Porchettato. This time, the dish was completely different: instead of the standard two thick, succulent slices we received before, each portion consisted of several thin, bacon-like slivers. The roasted potatoes were replaced with ordinary French fries, and there was no complimentary bread. The difference in portion size, quality, and accompaniments felt like a deliberate downgrade, especially on a busy holiday night. Given that we were charged the same price (as confirmed on the bill), it left us feeling misled. The restaurant was packed, and as the only Asian customers in the room, we didn’t feel comfortable raising the issue on the spot. While our first experience was excellent, this inconsistent and seemingly opportunistic treatment on our return visit has lost our trust. Tourists should be aware of such variability. Regrettably, this earns a 1-star rating from us.

01/01/2026: Authentic Roman cuisine! (Not touristy fare) Really good! I had a pizza and a matriciana, something truly ornate! It's hard to find a restaurant like this in the city center these days. Everyone rips you off with the €10 cover charge and gives you carbonara with cream. This is 100% authentic Roman cuisine. With a touch of Portuguese cuisine too, as it's a Portuguese destination. Congratulations guys, and keep up the good work!!
