Characteristic place - to admire the ceiling - and authentic, with a professional and kind service, which in Rome otherwise seems to have everyone running away from the moment you enter until you leave! The pastries, the salad and all the other things we ordered were excellent.

The best restaurant! We were served by a lady from Poland, very nice and helpful. The restaurant itself is clearly run with passion. Wide assortment, fresh and selected products. Delicious pizza, the best I've ever eaten in Rome. I recommend!

Went here to take a break and get a drink. We had to wait a while for someone took our order. And we also needed to wait quite some time to ask for a bill. Also the other waiters were kinda ignoring us and were visibly bored/aggitated which was not great for the atmosphere. I Did not eat here so cant tell anything about that. But the beer was okay and the iced tea not that tasty

A tale of two experiences really and sorry that the rating needs to be combined. Firstly the atmosphere is elegant and relaxed. The menu is inventive, a departure from the common tourist offerings and reasonably priced considering its location. The food service was great - thanks. We left via the coffee shop and decided to relax with an Americano — Note to file for Italian baristas - we North Americans like strong coffee as a long drink so simply make it a double shot and give us a little water on the side - easy eh? When the barista tried to fob us off with filter coffee we said no - explaining the difference. The waiter became visibly angry leaving us in no doubt of his opinion that we stupid uncouth tourists don’t know anything about coffee. He insisted that it’s always this way - I said that after six weeks in Italy I know that it’s not. Quite why a double expression shot with water should insult some Italian baristas I may never know. but his attitude spoiled an otherwise welcome lunch break in an authentic Italian establishment.

This restaurant makes an incredible carbonara!! If you end up in the area don’t miss this spot. The staff is immensely personable, especially the waiter Bachir. He provided excellent service and added to the whole experience. Additionally, there is a jazz place worth checking out around the corner. Would definitely come here again! Perfect place for brunch or dinner. Add it to your list!

locale molto bello a due passi da piazza del popolo e quindi si fa pagare ma almeno la qualità dei prodotti ed il servizio è alta...personale gentile e cordiale, ben arredato e curato in ogni particolare ed ambiente offrendo dalla ristorazione alla caffetteria, dalla pizza con forno a legna al ristorante, dagli affettati agli aperitivi...ottimo

05/04/2024: We flew into Rome and stopped here for lunch. Next to the hotel, and we are insanely hungry. They didn't really choose. There was no armor, but we were taken to the basement. There are about 10 tables there. There were 2 occupied. We were allowed to eat at a 2-seater table, one of the ends of which was in the arch. And the chair is in the arch. I'm not a very tall person, but it was scary to hit my head. The waiter said that no one was fighting. And of course, when I left, I forgot about this arch and, getting up from the chair, I hit the back of my head with all my might. I almost lost consciousness. There was no apology. My head still hurts and I can’t sleep. Yes, it’s my own fault, I fell for it. But such seating should be prohibited, IMHO. The food is average. Homemade pasta with picorino cheese approx. However, the insane amount of black pepper drowns out the flavor of the cheese. Pasta with lard is delicious. Lamb liver with artichoke is disgusting. Returned it. The waiter looked like he was a person who doesn’t know what lamb’s liver is... We ate even tastier ones. The price tag is too high, in my opinion. But the place is popular... we wouldn’t go there twice. People with disabilities will not be able to get into this establishment.

06/04/2024: I went on a Wednesday so there were few people but the place is very large. Welcoming. Available waiters. A place that can surprise a friend who comes to visit you from outside Rome. Take him to dinner by telling him: I'll take you to eat in the Colosseum! And if you don't believe it, bet... A coffee to be consumed on site because the coffee is good as well as the food. I remind you, however, that I was there on a Wednesday and I found a place in the guarded car park of the restaurant, I was served immediately, the dishes were good, I asked for the chicken at the butcher's counter, which I didn't see on display, and the very kind manager explained to me that we couldn't put the poultry with the meat and he showed it to me by taking it from another fridge, in short, almost perfection because even the quality/price ratio doesn't disappoint... But I'll give myself the benefit of the doubt... Or rather two... In the summer what will it be like???... And the second... On Saturday or Sunday with a full house you will be able to enjoy the same impeccable service??? We'll find out
06/04/2024: All good typical Roman dishes impressed me the breaded slice was huge I also tasted the excellent cube roll one thing that was really excellent was the buffalo mozzarella it's difficult to find it so good if you're not in Campania...
