This is important for first-time visitors. Everything was good, however, as was the enormous "elephant ear" cutlet, which we shared between two of us. The grilled vegetables were delicious. Improved service, with minimal interruptions to comment on the dishes, would make this an excellent trattoria.

03/01/2026: Lunch with friends in a perfect setting! The staff was very attentive and professional, yet also very friendly. They advised us on the best appetizers, and we were even offered limoncello at the end of the meal (which I never take for granted). The appetizers (which on the menu are recommended for two people) were perfectly portioned, very refined, and elegant... and, of course, delicious! For the first courses, I opted for the shrimp-filled panciotti... a true delight! Everything was perfect, absolutely recommended... and I'm telling you this from a restaurateur!

29/12/2025: As good as scorpion fish!! A small restaurant on the Savelletri seafront, lunchtime on a Monday in December. The service was female, polite, and attentive. After two appetizers, both good but lacking in flair, we were served a memorable scorpion fish linguine. A sweet sauce and cubes of soft, almost melting fish, the linguine was cooked to perfection. The dish was completed with a sumptuous soup made with the fish carcass. A few homemade desserts, but well-made. The price is reasonable for the location, the service, and the freshness of the fish.

17/12/2025: We ended up in this restaurant because it was next to our bed and breakfast. We didn't know if it would be open, but it was. We were not even the only ones there. Food was great, service was friendly and prices decent.

16/03/2026: We were nervous about visiting due to some of the very negative google reviews. However it was raining and Nonna was near our hotel. I liked the humble style of the menu and decor, replete with chipped crockery. Bread arrived in paper bags and bussing was performed by gathering up the corners of the paper table clothes, typical of mom and pop shops. I was relieved to see a table of 6 middle aged Italians when we arrived. Our waitress didn’t speak much English but managed to comply with our request for a softer local wine. My companion had a primo of pasta with tomato and strong ricotta which was stronger than the ricotta salata we’ve had in Sicily. Very al dente and a great dish for people who like strong cheeses. I had the scialatielli with seafood. Light spaghetti vongole style sauce containing mostly clams. The single prawn had been peeled and deveined but left head on. Again, perfect al dente pasta served harder than in northern Italy. We shared a secondo and contorno. We ordered steak with porcini which I considered a risky choice. Meat was medium rare as ordered, and very tender. It could have looked more elegant if the sauce had been served under the steak instead of smothering it. Also slicing the steak in the kitchen would have looked more attractive but that wouldn’t be in keeping with the style of the restaurant. Our contorno was chicory sauteed with good olives. There was nothing to fault with suppliers of ingredients or cooking technique. Service can be a little slow. Our waitress seemed to be covering tables on both floors.

The location is a tribute to authentic Puglia, with wicker baskets, olive and fig trees everywhere, surrounded by the tranquil countryside yet with the sea clearly visible in the distance. A good selection of wines, and I really thought the idea of ​​offering a mixed menu of meat and fish was excellent, highlighting the variety of Puglian cuisine. A truly satisfying experience, not only for the palate but also for the emotional warmth of the landscape. A little pricey, perhaps, in my opinion. But that's all there is to it.
