09/11/2025: An unconventional osteria, striving for simplicity but with quality and attention to detail. Fresh, locally sourced, delicious food. The meats and vegetables are excellent, as are the pasta dishes. There's no menu, but that's fine because the recommendations are always excellent. The wine cellar is exceptional, with great wines and excellent options for every budget. A delightful discovery.

26/09/2025: At this restaurant, located on the outskirts of Altamura, I enjoyed a culinary experience that highlights tradition and local ingredients. The menu draws inspiration from locally sourced and seasonal produce, offering dishes from the Murgia region prepared simply yet effectively. The appetizer served as an excellent overview of local flavors, with a selection ranging from classics like fried olives, eggplant parmigiana, and peppers, to more unusual combinations like friggitelli peppers with fava bean purée and farm cheese with apricot jam. Altamura bread meatballs and Venere rice with vegetables provided a touch of originality. The first course, homemade spaghetti, successfully combined the delicacy of wild fennel with the savory flavor of anchovies, all enhanced by a pleasant crunch of toasted almonds. The highlight of the evening, a Murgia lamb shank, was served with baked potatoes and raw barattieri, a combination that highlighted the quality of the meat. The dessert, finally, maintained its high standard: the ricotta and pear tart won over with its lightness, while the San Marzano cremolata with affogato provided an unusual and memorable finale.

01/11/2025: A lovely osteria in this fantastic seaside village. Even though we arrived late, at 3:45 PM, they kindly made us feel comfortable and at ease. The peppered mussels were delicious, as were the "panciotti" stuffed with fresh fish. The service was exceptional, with a wonderful young woman acting as "hostess."

31/10/2025: Birthday lunch on Sunday, October 26th.... beautifully presented and prepared dishes.... elegance and professionalism both in the kitchen and in the service, excellent recommended menu.... top marks for the Senatore Cappelli spaghetti with sea urchin pulp.... excellent management by the owner.... view of the splendid little port of Savelletri.... I can't comment on the prices because I was invited... highly recommended .

I like traditional cuisine from the south of Italy and we had the following; Crostino with Scante ricotta, sautéed tomato and cacioricotta Crostino with burrata Cantabrian anchovies and lemon zest Eggplant parmigiana Homemade tagliatelle with pesto, crispy capocollo and cherry tomatoes Homemade ricciatelle with 14 fresh tomatoes, pecorino and basil and drank excellent homemade red wine Li Veli Susumaniello everything was very good, a real gastronomic delight.. 23/11/2025: We went for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and had a truly wonderful meal. Simple yet carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and generous portions. You can taste the cuisine prepared with care and without frills, just like in a true Apulian osteria. The staff is friendly, attentive but never intrusive, and the atmosphere is just right: warm, informal, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch without the tourist trap feel. Excellent value. 21/04/2025: Found by chance on Google and booked for Easter, I must say that we were really happy both with regards to the excellent quality food and the welcome received from the staff. The idea of ​​having staff with various difficulties work is excellent, it's just a shame that the region never allocates these initiatives. As for the price well above my expectations. We will definitely be returning this summer

15/11/2025: I went to this restaurant for a business dinner, requesting a completely vegan meal. Even though the restaurant has a traditional feel, they adapted to my needs and offered a wide selection of delicious dishes! They were very attentive and thoughtful, making my experience excellent! I highly recommend it.

14/11/2025: A great place. A wonderful atmosphere in an Italian restaurant with delicious food made with local produce. We were given an excellent wine with dinner; they asked us to choose it for us. An impressive wine list. The service was exceptional. Don't forget to leave a tip! They don't add it to the bill.

23/10/2025: After unfortunately finding ourselves in front of a closed restaurant yesterday (we hadn't checked the opening hours), we went back today and were both thrilled! The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was excellent – ​​consistently attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, but that wasn't a problem at all! Even as a vegetarian, I was extremely satisfied because the food was still delicious and typical of the region! I'd love to come back if I'm ever in the region again (and definitely specifically for this restaurant!). Thank you so much for letting us spend a lovely evening with you!

15/10/2025: The trattoria is traditional, small, and very welcoming, spread across two levels. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it seems the place is perhaps geared more toward foreigners. The dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, honest, but (perhaps with the exception of a few dishes) they don't impress with an explosion of flavors, despite maintaining a solid, traditional approach to cuisine. The cover charge (€1.00) is fair and in line with the type of service offered. The Antipasto della Casa (which was presented to us as a portion for two) was a bit disappointing: we didn't find a good balance between the price and the variety/quantity of the dishes. This could be an unfortunate exception due to the evening or our table, but it's an aspect that needs reconsidering.

14/10/2025: Our favourite trattoria in Lecce! Would highly recommend reserving a table because you would be extremely disappointed to miss out eating here! Always remember to ask what Nonna's fantasy is, we got extremely lucky and had a lobster pasta which was delicious.
