25/05/2025: We stopped at this restaurant because we slept in an adjacent apartment. The environment is nice, nice atmosphere with very soft and pleasant background music. The menu is simple and the food is really good and also the staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend it!
24/05/2025: The restaurant was packed, which promised a good evening. However, the service was sloppy and fast. The meal portions were small, definitely not worth the price. The waiter even forgot to pour our wine, but he didn't forget to add it to our bill. Basically, it's a tourist trap, smoking...

31/05/2025: The best orecchietti we've ever eaten in Puglia...!!!!! We were a little disappointed because we'd eaten elsewhere and they were a bit bland: We're Argentinian and *know* pasta. We ate them Norma style and the sauce was insane. Everything looked delicious. For starters, we tried the horse meat meatballs, too, a must. I SEE THE PHOTO AND I WANT TO EAT THEM AGAIN!!!!!

14/05/2025: Small but well-kept place.
The menu offers traditional dishes revisited in a more modern way. The crostini with sea urchins were good and the broad bean puree with chicory was very interesting, enriched with a touch of onion that gave it an extra boost.
Disappointment instead for the pieces of horse meat: really too dry.
We only had water to drink, one of the people also ordered a burrata.
The final bill was a bit high: €180 for four.
Overall the experience was decent. I would gladly return to try the first courses.

16/05/2025: Wow the freshest orecchiette and brasciola in a better sweet-ish sugo than I make. Such a friendly staff, very engaging if you speak some italian.good size portions. My wife had the grilled swordfish and raved about it. We went back 2 nights later. Make it a point to to make a reservation and enjoy this place.
16/05/2025: A nice restaurant in Bari's old town with the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Friendly service, good food, and good value for money.

06/05/2025: For a fleeting holiday lunch I took 100 minutes, long waiting times, rather high cost, service to be refined, à la carte menu service unclear, I started with a starter in installments little by little, out of 4 people we had two first courses, four second courses according to the owner, to me they seemed like two second courses, grilled sausage 5 pieces and a cut of beef which due to its size was good for two, a bottle of wine chosen by the house without knowing the various costs that are generally found on menu, the requested cut was well cooked and served bloody, even the sausage was almost cannibalistic, this was the straw that broke the camel's back, I asked for the bill, paid and left clearly dissatisfied. Report on the culinary experience €147 for a few starters, two first courses, a cut, five weights of sausage, a bottle of wine, two bottles of water, you can't say that the name is exactly right "Il Postaccio" N.B. Out of four seats, two were children and therefore reduced consumption. “Evaluate yourself”

19/05/2025: From the very beginning, we were greeted with a sour face and a lack of enthusiasm because we weren't there until 10:30 p.m. (the establishment was open; we asked and they accepted us for dinner in their restaurant). The prices are exorbitant for the type of food they serve, and the experience left much to be desired. Another noteworthy detail was that they reluctantly cleared our plates, glasses, bread, etc., even though some of us hadn't even finished our dinner. If you don't want to extend the service, don't accommodate a group of 9 people (we were only in the restaurant for an hour in total).
11/05/2025: The service is the only good thing in the restaurant. The food is overcooked and isnt tasty at all. We tryed full starters and only one of them was ok. The table was in the terrace and it was not in the typical atmosphere.

Il gestore, una persona cordiale e preparata, ci ha servito dall'antipasto al dolce, leccornie preparate da loro, tutte ottime, spiegando ogni volta la particolarità della preparazione e del piatto. Si nota una ricerca e attenzione per il cliente e per ciò che mangiamo! Ottimo! Super consigliato!

We were welcomed and pampered by the owner, very thoughtful and competent. He carefully explained to us all the dishes he served us, starting from the history, passing through their creation and ending with the composition. A rare experience. Top quality products with an ancient and authentic flavour. Also try the desserts and the nocino, they are exceptional. Dear congratulations and greetings from Lecce.

Atmosfera calda e accogliente, servizio impeccabile e attento. Tutto è stato meraviglioso, ma una menzione speciale va al vino: semplicemente straordinario! Torneremo sicuramente.

28/05/2025: No home-cooked, homemade dishes. Just the assembly of ingredients, without necessarily using good quality ingredients.
I had a local soup for €12 made with pieces of vegetables floating in water. The homemade tiramisu doesn't taste like mascarpone, etc.
I don't recommend this establishment.
27/05/2025: Highly rated on Google so we thought it was worth a visit on our first night in Ostuni. Tucked up high in the city but no direct view out over the city walls. Seating was in little laneways under neon lights. The place was BUSY for a Monday night but we weren't that hungry.
We ordered fava bean with chicory and orecchiette with meatballs to start, with chicken fillet with chips and salad to share as our main. Meatballs were simple but delicious, fava bean was dense and the chicory didn't add to the dish. The star of the night was the chicken fillet crumbed and fried to perfection, seasoned just right for that crunchy bite then juicy tender chicken inside. We love simple food done excellently.
Finishing with the tiramisu was just right too.
The waiters were friendly and helpful, no one waited too long to be seated, ordered and received their food despite all tables being filled and filled again.

12/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante perché ci aveva incuriosito l’idea di una cena in una torre di un castello del 1300.
Avevamo letto delle recensioni molto positive: e quindi avevamo aspettative altissime.
Le nostre aspettative sono state superate!!
Gli antipasti della signora Franca, gustosi abbondanti, sfiziosi. La parmigiana nelle terrine, la focaccia barese, il calzone di cipolla unici! Anche i primi che abbiamo preso spaghetti all’assassina e orecchiette con le rape erano buonissimi. La signora ci ha fatto assaggiare anche i suoi panzerotti: mai mangiati dei panzerotti così buoni e allo stesso tempo leggeri. In una sola parola tutta la bontà della cucina tipica e l’accoglienza pugliesi.

06/05/2025: Dopo Foggia DeGustibus si schianta sul capoluogo. Bellissima città, anche per una visita fugace. Meta principale, imperdibile per chi viene a Bari, la Tiella, piatto tipico di ardua preparazione. Respinto dall’abituale fornitore di questa delizia, il povero DeG si sposta in pieno centro a questo indirizzo dove sembra garantita un’ottima versione di questo piatto. Servito con celerità malgrado l’affollamento, l’inizio con un ottima porzione di cime di rape. Veloce giunge anche la Tiella in un comodo, fumante tegamino. Peccato che il risultato vada immediatamente trasmesso alla Reale Accademia della Tiella come esempio di come NON si cucina questo tipicissimo piatto pugliese. Dire deludente è poco, niente a che vedere con il vero piatto che porta questo nome. Consigliamo vivamente di togliere questo piatto dal menù
