A very nice restaurant, located in a quiet area of Foggia.
The dishes are all authentic and made with locally sourced vegetables and produce.
The hostess is very kind and accommodating.
I highly recommend a visit.

Leaving Foggia is hard, but leaving Piccola Osteria Km Zero is even harder.
It was the last place we decided to go before moving. And as always, this place didn't disappoint; in fact, it reminded us exactly why, over the past five years, it's become a staple of our lives here.
The food is simply the best I've ever had in Foggia. I've already had my favorite dishes, the ones I couldn't give up.
But what makes this place truly special isn't just the food. It's the way they welcome you. You're not a number, you're not a table to be quickly turned over: you're treated with warmth.
And then there's the price, which is honestly hard to believe, considering the quality and quantity of what they serve.
If you're from Foggia and have never been, go. If you've already been, you already know what I'm talking about.
We're leaving, but a piece of us remains here.

Rather unremarkable on the outside, but full of character inside. Excellent locally sourced food: we ate both lunch and dinner, both traditional dishes like excellent burnt wheat orecchiette with creamed broccoli, and more fusion dishes like sweet and sour lamb tagine. Special mention goes to the platter (I enjoyed the liver sausage) and the dessert (a truly delicious chocolate brick). There's a wide selection of wines, but we ordered the house rosé and were very pleased. Last but not least, we didn't spend much; both lunch and dinner costed around €25-30 each.

We went to this restaurant for lunch on the occasion of a child's first birthday, so it was a special evening for us. I must admit that the food was good and the prices were fair overall. Unfortunately, however, the overall experience was ruined by the service.
From the beginning, the staff and owners were not particularly friendly or helpful. We weren't explicitly told to leave, but their attitude and constant references to the time made us feel distinctly out of place and forced to rush through the meal. On an occasion like a birthday, especially for a one-year-old, one would expect a little more understanding.
Furthermore, when we asked to use a table to place the cake and take a souvenir photo, we were told to use only the one they had indicated, as it was the only one not set. Again, no flexibility or availability.
Considering that we were six adults and spent around €250, we would have expected a different level of attention. Good food, but cold service and little customer service. A real shame, because with a more welcoming attitude it would have been a lovely evening. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back.
