03/07/2026: I never write reviews, but tonight I'm giving the guys at Vapensiero 5 stars because I was having a bad day, and dining here brought a smile back. Everything was delicious, the staff were super nice, and the prices were super fair. I'll be back to try other items on the menu that really inspired me!

24/06/2026: Truly excellent! Everything was excellent. It's the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I've been a customer for many years. The ingredients are top-quality, starting with the flours used for the dough. The pizza and cheese focaccia are excellent, but the focaccia is also delicious!! I must try them all!!! Impeccable service. The owner is always very kind and attentive to detail. Prices are definitely lower than the quality!! Beautiful, small, and quaint place.

22/04/2026: This restaurant is truly worth the trip, despite the distance and its location in the small village of Torre Papone. If you're unfamiliar with the area, it's not always easy to find the first time, and you have to walk a bit to get there… but that's part of the charm of the experience. The setting is simply magical: an original restaurant located in an old cave carved into the rock, in the heart of the village. An unusual place full of character. The food is excellent, the service is impeccable, and the welcome is equally warm, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short: a unique place, as beautiful to see as it is to eat. I highly recommend this extraordinary experience.

11/08/2026: Amazing Italian restaurant! I had the ravioli with traditional Genovese sauce and a basil dessert, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was full of flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

05/08/2026: Old-time tavern atmosphere....genuine wine.....excellent.....I found myself surrounded by greenery, in an isolated, quiet and very cool place!

12/08/2026: Nice atmosphere with unobtrusive live music. Limited variety of dishes, with prices too high for the quality. A special mention goes to the swordfish Genovese... Indecent. Tough and tasteless for the modest price of €20 a plate. Even the mixed platter: with more celery leaves than cured meats and cheeses. I wouldn't go back.

11/08/2026: We visited the place yesterday and everything was busy, unless we could “settle” for an hour to eat the food. For us it was absolutely ideal. We each got a delicious pasta with seafood and ravioli with squid filling and the house wine, which we had plenty of time to enjoy in the good atmosphere with well-mannered, present waiters and ditto pianist. All in all, a lovely experience that we would gladly recommend. 🤩

07/08/2026: Good home-style food (wide selection of homemade desserts), welcoming interior with a lovely view of the greenery, or a cool outdoor area for summer evenings. Very friendly and helpful staff (they even accepted our table even though the kitchen was closing late). Well done!

The waiters are skilled and attentive in serving and approaching customers. However, for the price of the dishes, the portion sizes are quite modest, and with the restaurant crowded and the kitchen open, the heat inside is definitely noticeable. Ciao!

25/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, unique cuisine unlike anything else, featuring local, fresh ingredients (many grown or harvested on site), and executed to perfection, from the cooking to the seasoning. Very friendly service, lovely atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

21/08/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. Let's start with the appetizers, which were cold, dry, and hard. No, very hard, inedible. The first course: testaroli, cooked just fine. The potatoes were only on the menu. The green beans were raw, but absolutely raw. Not to mention the diluted pesto, a waste of money. The second course: sliced ​​steak, €28 per portion. It arrived lukewarm, but ultimately, perhaps the only thing that was slightly edible. The "magic" touch was the table lamp. Throughout the evening, the staff kept coming to dim it, without a "sorry" or "may I?" The owner, who changed his hat every now and then - nice but excessive. Circus. A nice comic book place, yes, but nothing more or less special. Wasted time and money.

21/07/2026: The waitress was lovely and explained each dish on the menu to us. The homemade bread is delicious and the pasta is exquisite. All this at a very good price and without any wait time (even in July). Highly recommended!!!
