27/04/2026: When we take our long walk in the woods, Au Casun is our favorite stop. The menu is written on a chalkboard. The food is local and plentiful, the pasta is homemade with its various delicious sauces. Here you can find Ligurian-style rabbit, tender roast beef, goat and beans, wild boar, and more... all excellent. I recommend the mixed antipasti platter to start; given the generous portions and selection, they can even be shared. The desserts, also homemade, are delicious. The wine selection is also excellent. The owners are very kind and helpful. Top service! Thank you 🙏

11/04/2026: A truly amazing dinner!!! The English lady who runs the place looked after us throughout the meal, offering advice and serving us with great kindness and enthusiasm. The food is truly excellent, and the place is clean and well-kept. The bathroom is also wonderful. The price is super reasonable. If you're passing through, don't hesitate to stop by for a truly special dinner. 10 out of 10!! I recommend the ravioli del plin with Castelmagno cheese, the ravioli with blueberries and saffron, and the swordfish. The desserts are also truly delicious, especially the tiramisu.

18/05/2026: There were three of us, and a friend asked for gluten-free pesto gnocchi. Our pesto fettuccine arrived, cold, but her gnocchi weren't, because they'd made a mistake and cooked them plain. While we waited, the owner went out of her way to bring her friend, who was left without a dish, a plate of octopus and potatoes. It seemed like a courtesy, a sort of apology for their mistake, but when it came time to get the bill, the octopus was added to the bill. Not even a discount or even an apology! I'll never go back. Terrible service, and the food was nothing special.

17/05/2026: Last night, we visited this stunning corner of Genoa for the third time. Everything was perfect. The place. The food was superb. The staff and service were truly wonderful. To those who criticized the tartare... well... this is the third time I've had it, and it's the best I've ever had in my life... I won't even mention the pesto because it's simply divine. I truly recommend it to everyone.

13/03/2026: A very nice restaurant with good value for money. A relaxed atmosphere, an excellent menu with some unique dishes. Very attentive service. We wanted to order two glasses of wine for a total of €8, whereupon the waiter recommended a quarter-liter carafe of the same local wine for €4.50. That's how it should be!

02/05/2026: Prejudicial... Disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor and I'm struggling to find any positive aspects, the bread was truly pleasant. The beef carpaccio, served as an appetizer, arrived frozen, even the plate was freezing. I asked not to make it again, also because it wasn't at all bland, practically tasteless, but they remade it and brought it back, and even though it wasn't cold, the result was the same. The first course of gnocchi was on par with those from a cheap discount store. My grandmother said gnocchi should melt in your mouth, but these wouldn't melt even after an hour, stringy, hard, unimaginable. Considering that I'm practically intolerant to sauce, my problem, I rarely eat it when and if it's worth it. Expectations were too high, spoiler: it wasn't worth it, and even if I'd had very low expectations, they would still have been above what we found... A mention for the mussels, which practically never arrived, which should have accompanied the gnocchi; they were dry, very small, and flavorless. A negative experience, apart from the service, kudos to the extremely helpful and overly qualified staff for the restaurant's cuisine. I'm convinced this is the only or one of the few negative reviews, but I've come to understand that people don't know how to eat anymore... what a shame.

26/04/2026: I've been to Bilaia Agriristorante twice now and have always had a great time. It's a perfect place for a romantic dinner or to celebrate something special. The atmosphere is truly beautiful, especially in the summer: I recommend asking for a table outside on the terrace overlooking the sea, because it's truly worth it. The dishes are delicious and quite scenic; you can see the attention to the ingredients; many of the dishes are homemade, and you can taste it. If you book, ask for a romantic dinner (I think it was included); they'll set your table with rose petals and other nice things, very nice for the occasion. They also have rooms, but I haven't tried them, so I can't comment on the accommodation. The only thing is that the plating, especially of the first and second courses, isn't Michelin-starred, but that's okay because it's an agriturismo. Overall, a very nice experience; I'd go back. Definitely try their specialty drinks; the rosemary-infused spritz is incredible.

21/05/2026: This restaurant high up on the hill in Rapallo was truly an incredible experience! It's precisely these kinds of places that make a trip to Italy so special. The cuisine is simple, traditional, and simply unbelievably delicious. There's no attempt to make everything seem modern or artificially extravagant – instead, you get honest Italian food prepared with love and passion. You can taste it in every dish. The ingredients seem fresh, the dishes authentic, and everything is reminiscent of real, homemade food, just as you'd expect in Italy. You immediately sense that tradition and hospitality are paramount here. The staff is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. An absolute must for anyone who wants to experience genuine Italian cuisine! Important: Be sure to reserve in advance, as this place doesn't seem to be a hidden gem anymore. However, if you're expecting a modern or particularly chic atmosphere, this might not be the place for you. This restaurant doesn't impress with luxury or design, but with honest, heartfelt, and incredibly delicious food. And that's exactly what makes this place so special! I hope my pictures convey this, and I'd appreciate a like.

20/05/2026: I gave the ambience 5 stars not because it's luxurious but because it's exactly what it is: a trattoria. Good, traditional food, carefully prepared with excellent ingredients, at a truly fair price. Just as a trattoria should be.

07/06/2026: Sheltered terrace directly overlooking the sea. Good service and a relaxing atmosphere. The anchovy trio was very good. The mussels were excellent. The tagliolini alla camogliese were exquisite and delicious. The portions were generous compared to other restaurants. I highly recommend it; you can't go wrong. I forgot to mention that the prices are average.

07/06/2026: After a long day of hiking, on the recommendation of our hotel manager, we chose to dine at La Camogliese and were truly delighted. Reservations are practically essential, but we managed to get a seat during the last sitting of the evening. We dined in the splendid glass-walled dining room overlooking the sea, which offers a marvelous view while also providing shelter from the evening chill. We were greeted with a delightful glass of prosecco and some house-made fritters. We then enjoyed an excellent trio of anchovies, a delicious peppered mussels, a fresh tuna tartare, and the ever-present taglierini alla Camogliese—truly unique, well-executed, and rich in flavor. The service was attentive, friendly, and fast. The prices are absolutely fair, especially considering the prime location and the high-quality ingredients. I would definitely recommend dinner at La Camogliese to anyone staying in this beautiful Ligurian village.

02/06/2026: The wait was a bit long, but acceptable, and was more than compensated by the generosity (we still ate and drank while we waited) and the quality of the food. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Reservations are required. Thanks to the manager and staff, we'll be back and will definitely recommend!

02/06/2026: A typical, historic restaurant with excellent food. I had a few reservation issues, so I'll explain. Towards the end of the morning, I went there to book for the evening. They took notes and told me they'd call me to confirm (this already seems strange to me because the place is either available or it isn't, but if that's their method...). Late in the afternoon, having not received any calls, I went back in person and they told me they'd called, but showing them my cell phone, I said I hadn't received any calls. They later confirmed, saying they'd called everyone except the first two numbers 😳😳😳. Finally, they told me, "OK, that's fine for two," and that we'd be on the veranda/courtyard. I don't remember exactly. We arrived at 9 pm, and when I asked for a table, they looked at each other a little shocked, and after a moment of silence, they said, "Over there," pointing to the inside dining room. Later, I noticed a bit of tension among the staff. It was only May 30th, so I imagine it was towards the end of the season. However, despite this mix-up, I recommend it because I think it's worth eating there, perhaps making sure to book in advance.

01/06/2026: A unique experience We stumbled upon this charming osteria by chance, and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the moment we entered, we were struck by the welcoming and characteristic atmosphere of the place. The walls are tastefully and creatively decorated, with original model airplanes hanging from the ceiling, lending a touch of personality and old-world charm. It's a truly one-of-a-kind place, transporting you to another era. The service was impeccable: the staff was kind, attentive, and very willing to recommend the best dishes. But the real surprise was the food. We sampled the house specialty, Ligurian-style sea bream, deliciously prepared. The stewed version with cherry tomatoes, olives, and potatoes was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The other dishes we saw passing by also looked succulent and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and the price is absolutely appropriate for the quality of the food and the overall experience. We highly recommend Osteria Baccalà to anyone who loves good food and authentic atmospheres. If you're looking for a place to eat well, feel pampered, and immerse yourself in a unique atmosphere, this is the place for you! We'll definitely be back.

16/05/2026: Great discovery. Delicious food. We hadn't made a reservation for lunch on Saturday. Parking seemed like a problem right from the start, as there was only one spot left between the Italian cars. Everything was full, but fortunately, we were able to have our lunch served outside, and it was amazing. Both starters and main courses. With very friendly service. It was Italian only (plus sign language), but that is precisely the charm. We will definitely be back!
