03/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! I was there three years ago and went back last night because I loved their spaghetti with clams. We also had Ligurian mussel soup and tuna tartare, and I have to say, everything was fresh and delicious. The service was very fast and the staff very friendly. We'll be back!

12/04/2026: We've finally dispelled two clichés about Ligurians: their unwelcoming nature and their tight-fisted attitude! The entire staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and competent. The food is all fresh, the dishes excellent, and the portions generous. The trofie with pesto are superb, as is the spaghetti allo scoglio. Special mention to the brandacujun, the fritto misto is excellent!!! Congratulations to everyone, we had a wonderful time 😊😊

03/05/2026: We went to Osteria Matetti in Alassio tonight and can only leave a super positive review. I had a truly wonderful meal, but what impressed us even more was the hospitality! My friend unfortunately felt ill during dinner, and the staff was kind, thoughtful, always available, and attentive. What's more, they didn't even charge her for what she ordered. The food was EXCEPTIONAL, and the service was even more so. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

29/04/2026: A quaint place, always busy, with friendly, kind, and witty staff...and fast service. The food is good; upon arrival, we were offered three small pieces of warm farinata, followed by two hot fritters with apples and a bitter liqueur. For Alassio, the prices are excellent.

It might seem like it's hard to be surprised there... but it was at this restaurant in Italy that I tasted the best pizza of my life. It's not just a traditional Italian pizza—it's a perfect combination of flavor, texture, and soul. The dough is light and fluffy, with that perfect crispy crust. The sauce is rich and fragrant, as if made according to a family recipe passed down through generations. And the ingredients are incredibly fresh, as if freshly picked from the local market. But what struck me most was the atmosphere. Here, you don't feel like a tourist—they welcome you like family. The people are incredibly kind, sincere, and attentive. The service is so high that it makes you want to return again and again, not just for the food, but also for the warmth. Honestly, I didn't expect that after so many travels, I could still be surprised by a pizza. But this place in Italy proved otherwise. If you happen to be in the area, don't pass it by. Maybe this is where the best pizza of your life awaits you.

07/04/2026: Excellent dinner with a fish menu. Interesting, tasty options, both meat and fish, classic and traditional Ligurian dishes. The ambiance is simple and refined, all in wood. Unfortunately, we happened upon a night with too many dogs... When you bring your four-legged friend to a restaurant, you always have to consider the other guests, and not everyone is this sensitive and considerate. There were five dogs in the dining room, not all of them quiet, and one alone took up two meters of space and wagged its tail at table level. It's perfectly fine to welcome pets into the restaurant, but perhaps their owners should be reminded that they deserve respect for all the people eating and don't like finding a tail on their plate!

15/04/2026: The food was just okay, very greasy. The fried calamari turned out badly; the calamari wasn't fresh, it seemed frozen (you could taste it), it was like chewing gum, and there was a lot of flour. The food depends on your taste.

A challenging dish, but here the flavors are well-balanced, and the fish doesn't disappear into the vegetables. Definitely worth a try.

11/04/2026: Surprises we love! The good reviews made us choose it, and... I confirm all the stars! Welcoming and courteous staff, excellent food (both restaurant and pizza)! Spaghetti with clams, worth 10, the warm seafood appetizer was wow, and the dessert... simple to look at, but you can't believe how good it was (I'll leave you the photo). We finished with a Camatti amaro and said goodbye... because yes, I would return!

I even reached out to the restaurant to find a song I heard during dinner, and they were incredibly sweet about it. The service was beyond words. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the wide selection of wines and the seasonality of the menu's ingredients.
