13/05/2025: This spot is such a hidden gem. You don’t see it from the main road so we almost missed it but I’m glad I had found the reviews online beforehand so we knew what to look for. Everything was incredible - especially the branzino. That fish melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants delicious food with the authentic Italian vibe

23/04/2025: I came across this restaurant by chance with my family and I can only confirm the excellent reviews: good raw materials prepared perfectly. The menu is appropriately short, 3 starters, 7 first courses and as many second courses but this evidently guarantees particular attention in the kitchen. Mainly fish-based but there is no shortage of meat options. There are also some dishes off the menu (personally I tried the grilled tuna, exceptional); the fried cod is also excellent (in general excellent frying, dry and fragrant). There are obviously desserts, again few but good. To all this, which I would say is no small thing, is added a friendly and familiar environment with attention to the customer that seems from another era. The place is simple and clean, with few seats. I saved it, I don't know when I'll be back in Savona but when I come back I'll definitely be back.

02/05/2025: Birthday dinner for 16 people, tasted a lot of dishes (even those of the other guests) all agreeing on the quality of the food, the refinement and the generous portions, so the price is in line, and deserves it. The only small flaw is the waitress, perhaps younger, not too kind, but you can ignore it... fine and quiet environment, the owner is very, very kind, she knows how to treat customers! Overall therefore highly recommended, we will be back.

23/04/2025: Excellent restaurant not far from the center of Albisola The dishes are all excellent and presented in a crazy way and the staff is very kind. If you want to try good and unusual dishes this is the place for you!

29/05/2025: I rarely write restaurant reviews, but this one simply has to be. The swordfish carpaccio was outstanding: fresh, finely sliced, and a true highlight in terms of flavor. A small, authentic place frequented almost exclusively by locals. Highly recommended—thank you!

26/03/2025: Se potessi dare zero stelle, lo farei senza esitazioni. Questo ristorante di pesce è un vero disastro sotto ogni aspetto. Innanzitutto, il proprietario è di una maleducazione assoluta: un atteggiamento arrogante e scontroso, pronto a fare battute inadeguate che non solo risultano fastidiose, ma anche imbarazzanti. Un vero esempio di come non si dovrebbe mai trattare un cliente. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, le porzioni (il pesce di certo non la quantità di pasta) sono ridicole. I piatti di pesce sono una presa in giro: quantità minime, praticamente invisibili, e qualità che lascia davvero a desiderare. Se cercate un ristorante dove il pesce è protagonista, questo non fa per voi. Sembra che abbiano dimenticato di mettere il pesce nei piatti, tanto è misera la quantità. Il servizio? Quasi inesistente. Se siete fortunati, forse riuscirete a fare un ordine, ma non aspettatevi di essere trattati con cortesia o di ricevere attenzione. È evidente che il personale non ha la minima idea di cosa significhi accogliere un cliente. In sintesi, un'esperienza da dimenticare. Evitate assolutamente!

10/05/2025: I am writing a new review after a couple of years of frequenting this restaurant. The stars become five for all parameters after, in fact, numerous visits every time we are in Genoa. Always flawless! As my daughter-in-law, another regular visitor together with my son and daughter, says, "it's like going to eat at your aunt's, good and genuine food, warm but not affected welcome and a family environment". What about the food: perfect trofie, excellent fried food because it's freshly made, Genoese minestrone and tripe dishes for which my wife says "this evening we're going to 3 Merli because I'm craving their minestrone or tripe. Everything else follows with equal satisfaction. Long live the 3 Merli and especially those who manage it.

27/04/2025: Fabulous setting surrounded by greenery, tasty food with fresh and genuine ingredients, excellent wine pairing! All at a really honest price. Very friendly and welcoming staff, discovered place by chance and we will definitely return, highly recommended!

01/05/2025: Abbiamo chiamato per prenotare 2 giormi prima per 7 persone, inclusa una bambina di 2 anni..siamo arrivati ma il ristorante era chiuso. Ho chiamato chiedendo se avessi sbagliato ingresso, mi hanno risposto che oggi erano chiusi, evidentemente 2 giorni fa non lo sapevano .. Poco professionali.

26/04/2025: If ever there was a perfect place, this is it. The food on the small menu is terrific, the service is incredibly friendly and the view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. We stayed at Baiardo for three days and ate here three times. Everything tasted really great and fresh, a real gem.

I tasted the spaghetti with clams and the steamed cod: both delicious, prepared with care and passion. The service is impeccable, courteous and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere of the place is intimate; the interior, a little dim, is expertly lit by candles, which add a touch of romance and warmth. An experience to repeat!
