10/06/2025: Il ristorante A Viassa, si trova a Dolceacqua, splendido borgo medievale del Ponente Ligure famoso per il suo ponte romano a schiena d'asino e il Castello Doria. Il locale si presenta moderno e luminoso,accogliente e con una buona musica di sottofondo all'interno. Possibilità di utilizzare,nella bella stagione,un gradevole dehors in affaccio su Via della Liberazione. Accoglienza cordiale e professionale. Servizio impeccabile. Menù degustazione di mare: eccellente. Quantità delle portate adeguata. Prezzo finale ampiamente corretto. Che dire: sicuramente consigliato.

01/05/2025: Abbiamo chiamato per prenotare 2 giormi prima per 7 persone, inclusa una bambina di 2 anni..siamo arrivati ma il ristorante era chiuso. Ho chiamato chiedendo se avessi sbagliato ingresso, mi hanno risposto che oggi erano chiusi, evidentemente 2 giorni fa non lo sapevano .. Poco professionali.

29/06/2025: I was there with friends, without booking, they found us a table right away, welcomed us kindly. Dishes prepared with attention and generous portions, very fresh fish, no waiting despite the full room and outside. Prices are normal. The owners are a nice and kind family. I can only highly recommend it. We will return with other friends to give them the opportunity to get to know this wonderful restaurant.

23/06/2025: Great evening at Vela Restaurant, the mussels are the best in Italy, the service is very professional, the welcome is warm and the quality of the dishes is amazing, as the US say, really a great restaurant, not to mention the very affordable prices, highly recommended.

30/05/2025: Interesting restaurant, the menu changes, and you can find dishes (Ligurian cuisine) on the menu. We had pasta with vegetables and olives as a starter and a cod stew, which was very tasty. Dessert was a pineapple and semifreddo with raspberries. Thank you very much :-) We'll be back. The following menu was served 2 days later.

25/06/2025: The restaurant is one of the best I have ever tried. Top quality ingredients, handmade stuffed pasta made by them ad hoc, everything tasty but not heavy, house wine really special. The service is first class and the kindness and friendliness of the owner is really something worth going for. What can I say, a restaurant that has a lot to teach many restaurants with inflated prices. After all, catering is not invented... you learn over many years of experience, and they have this too. Thank you!

01/07/2025: With my wife and a family of two friends we had dinner at this wonderful trattoria serving typical Ligurian cuisine located in the hamlet of Sant’Apollinare on the heights of Sori. We sat at one of the few tables on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and the promontory of Portofino. To get to the restaurant from Sori go up and head towards Sant’Apollinare and there is a small parking lot next to the Church but it is generally always full so you can park on the road below that leads to Sori. To have an outdoor table even during the week in summer they advised us to book at least 15 days in advance!!! We ordered; As an appetizer 2 focaccias with crido ham and stracchino, a focaccia with gorgonzola and Ligurian panissa similar in taste to chickpea farinata, which is in fact prepared with chickpea flour and water (without adding oil to the dough), to be eaten cold or fried. For starters: Trofie di farina bianca al pesto, pansoti alla salsa di noce (which our friend didn’t like) For main courses: 3 mixed grilled meats with chicken, pork loin, sausage, skewers For dessert: 2 lemon ice creams, a tiramisu and an amaretto semifreddo As mentioned, we were very satisfied with the starters, for the first courses except for the pansoti, for the second courses, the meat was delicious, abundant and for the desserts. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and the service was attentive, fast and the price was fair for the quality of the dishes. 31/05/2025: Questa sera siamo stati a cena in questo locale,io e mio marito eravamo gia venuti e stasera x la seconda volta portavamo mio fratello e la sua compagna. ,Ci eravamo sempre trovati bene stasera invece siamo stati delusi...abbiamo prenotato 2 fritti misti e un acciuga fritta,il fritto scarso x i 22 euro a porzione!!..due acciughe impanate un tentacolo di polpo due acciughe ripiene con la ricotta uno scampo ecc ecc ....non il solito fritto ke avevamo mangiato le volte precedenti.Trovato un po caro...3 primi 3 secondi 2 dolci un caffè due bottiglie di acqua 1/4 di vino e due bibite piccole 136 euro...........Ditemi voi.....

01/07/2025: Dinner on Saturday. Good appetizer, first courses: lean ravioli with ragù, fabulous, 10 out of 10, very tasty pappardelle. Second courses: Their fritto misto thrilled me, the fried boneless rabbit was good but a little dry. Average desserts. Served by a very willing and polite girl. The atmosphere was a little dry, almost rude, but relaxing. I just hope they put/fix the beer tap. The pros outshine the cons in any case and we all left happy.

28/06/2025: Good morning, I wanted to clarify the negative review written the other day and discuss the response we received, which, in my opinion, portrays us as very selfish. First of all I would like to talk about the problem we encountered with the straw, I find your point to be extremely incorrect since you judge the usefulness of the straw based on the age of the customer. As customers, we would have preferred to receive either a warning or communication of the lack of goods that we would certainly have understood more than receiving something that we could not use. The second point you mentioned was the "grappa" glass that you have been using as wine glasses for more than 40 years. The fact that you have been serving it for a long time does not imply that wine should be served in glasses. The origin of wine in glasses in Italy was already present in ancient Rome. The glass is a special glass to best enjoy wine, I am certainly not doubting your expertise in the matter but as far as we are concerned the glass you use is not suitable for serving wine. The next point I would like to address is the shrimp. I wanted to let you know that we are aware that shrimp are eaten peeled. The dark part of the shrimp was inside the shrimp and not outside. We enjoyed the service and the place, but we highly disliked the food that was served to us, giving us reasons to give our own negative opinion. "Large portions" I find to be an exaggerated term for the portions that were served to us, we didn't leave anything, of course, because we don't like waste. We didn't like the taste because we found everything not very tasty, and, looking at the other reviews left we noticed that more people had this problem and you attacked each of them. We found the price very high since we ate in better restaurants with even better quality for lower prices. We are sorry if we judged the book by its cover, also because you had really given us a good first impression.

26/06/2025: Seeing the reviews, we expected to have a nice fish dinner with a view of the dock, but instead it was not like that at all. The restaurant is honestly very nice, very particular decor, especially the ceiling, with a beautiful terrace. The staff at the service are honestly very good, kind and friendly. The food was not to our liking, we ordered four first courses and a mixed fried food, in the seafood spaghetti in particular there was a shrimp with a shell that seemed to be eating wet bread crumbs all the other shrimp were small clean without shells (obviously frozen). In the mixed fried food there were shrimp that were black but not black because they were burnt but black because they went bad smelly and the fish was dry inside. We also ordered some house white wine that was brought to us hot the first time, which was immediately remedied by bringing us another fresh carafe but we drank it in the grappa glass? Shouldn't wine be served with a glass? I don't know. Asked for a straw for the drink you brought us a mignon straw bah maybe you like small things🤣 Price more than expensive for this quality and quantity you offer, paid €28.50 per person.
