14/03/2026: Dinner—or aperitif—at sunset while enjoying a fantastic view. Finding a table in the summer is no easy feat, but it's easy to see why. The tapas-style dishes are original, elaborate, and never boring. Even an eggplant parmigiana becomes a new experience. The Bistrotto's Spritz is delicious. With three or four small dishes, you'll leave feeling full and happy. Perhaps not suitable for young children, as the menu is certainly unique. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

18/01/2026: During a visit to Bogliasco, we stopped for an aperitif, but everything was so good that we continued with a first course and fried squid. Top quality and deliciousness. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: Delicious food! I had fond memories of it and was satisfied again today. Fair prices for the quality and quantity! I'll definitely be back. Just a small note about the service... the waiters, undoubtedly overzealous, were talking among themselves, correcting each other, and giving each other instructions in the middle of the room, making the atmosphere less than harmonious. I'm writing this because at the time I didn't dare ask for even less... and in the hope that my comment will be taken as advice from the customer's perspective. In any case, I will definitely be back, and with pleasure!

21/03/2026: We were intrigued by their gardens in the hills above Portovenere, and even a simple pizza didn't disappoint: meticulous attention to detail in the dough creates a unique fragrance, lightness, and digestibility, even on the crust...not to mention the freshest, zero-mile ingredients (homegrown vegetables and oil). It's not cheap, but the quality and quantity are worth it. A veranda overlooking the sea, prompt service, and a great sense of humor.

21/11/2025: Disappointing, cold atmosphere, rude owner, unhelpful, disinterested in his work and customers. The only one who put in the effort was the waitress! I recommend spending less time on social media and more time on work! Negative rating.

29/10/2025: Service was really friendly and spoke really good english. We had Spaghetti Carbonara and it was really mid, so I wouldn’t recommend it (maybe sea food is nicer here). They didn’t have Aperol Spritz in the menu, but the waiter said that he can make it for us, they charged 14 euro per Aperol (which is double the price compared to every restaurant in Santa Margherita), so I think they took advantage of the situation. I think that there are better options in the area.

15/10/2025: An excellent dinner in a truly enchanting location. I dined at this fantastic restaurant for my boyfriend's sixth anniversary. We had a great time, and the food was delicious. We ate with a view of Rapallo. If I were to return to Rapallo, I would almost certainly eat here again!

26/02/2026: We had a risotto called "marvellous," and it was truly marvelous, not only in name but also in fact. Well done. We had another first course, the paccheri with three-course pesto, three broccoli, and cod and burrata. It was very good, with a unique flavor we'd never tried before. The flavor of both the risotto and the paccheri was unique, salty and peppery with just the right amount of black pepper and salt. We loved all the first courses we had. Not to mention the artichoke appetizer. Delicious! Well done. The atmosphere was informal and friendly. The kitchen staff were as attentive as needed to prepare such delicious dishes. Well done. As for the ambiance, the Mina Morrison paintings were beautiful, but perhaps too many scattered objects should be removed. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but this evening we were served two sea bream fillets that smelled bad and were inedible to me. I pointed out that the fish had a bad smell and taste, and they charged me the full amount. If they had apologized and deducted the amount from the bill, I wouldn't have written the review, but with this attitude, they deserve one star, and that's already a lot.

08/03/2026: We were very pleased with this relatively small but welcoming restaurant and its cuisine. If you have a cat, you'll appreciate some of the decor details! Set menu plus daily specials.

03/11/2025: We stayed for five nights during a Cinque Terre trek. The location was ideal for avoiding the crowds. A small supermarket across the street offered all sorts of products at reasonable prices. The room was simple, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and plentiful, just like at an Italian family's home!
