An excellent and fun experience. Simple, good food, and very friendly staff, all at fair prices. Highly recommended for hikers on the Via del Sale.

CHIAPPARINO is my favorite place, the first thing when you arrive is a smile (it's not always like this in Liguria!) You feel welcomed more than at home. I really like the panissa, the Ligurian-style rabbit, the excellent fried focaccias, and the best thing is the smile of Francesca, the owner, and Monica, the two owners, with thirty years of experience. Excellent prices. Don't waste your time in Recco and Camogli, the true typical Ligurian cuisine is only at Uscio da Chiapparino near the B&B Rifugio Uscio. I am the owner of the B&B and I recommend all my dear hikers to go for lunch or dinner for a real experience!

Truly excellent, a new restaurant, probably renovated or recently opened, with courteous and friendly staff (I want to highlight this because in other places I've visited in the surrounding area, I've encountered a certain coldness from the restaurateurs, but maybe it was just my impression). We ordered roast beef and a mixed fried dish of vegetables, meat, and fruit. I'd never tried fried fruit before, and I must say it was truly delicious. The roast beef, topped with a truly excellent vinegar and mustard sauce, was also excellent. I also found the price very fair, just over €30 for two, but we only ordered water. However, I recommend providing a paper menu because verbal menus can be impractical. Honestly, after the fifth or sixth dish available to choose from, I couldn't remember the first one, so you might have to ask. In any case, it's always best to have a list of dishes on hand when you have to choose, and it would obviously be appropriate to display the prices beforehand. As I mentioned before, I find the prices absolutely excellent considering the quality of the food. Ultimately, absolutely recommended.
