03/03/2025: Dinner for two last night. Typical Genoese dishes, very nice environment, clean and well heated. Kindness and courtesy that doesn't seem to be in Liguria. Very generous portions with impeccable service from Maurizio. Definitely cheap prices with excellent quality. To park I suggest stopping in the church square, the restaurant is 200 meters away. We will definitely be back!!

22/12/2024: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare in questa trattoria tipica dell’Entroterra Ligure e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! La cucina è casereccia e autentica, con piatti preparati con ingredienti freschi e saporiti. Abbiamo preso antipasto, primo, secondo e anche il vino della casa, il tutto per meno di 30 euro a persona—un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero incredibile. Il vino della casa, è un po’ anacquato, lo trovi gia nel coperto al tavolo. Il personale è stato estremamente accogliente e gentile, facendoci sentire come a casa. In più, ci hanno offerto anche dei deliziosi cuculli! Un’esperienza davvero piacevole, ideale per una cena o un pranzo in compagnia di amici. Consigliato vivamente!

30/03/2025: Trovato per caso, è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa oltre che una bella esperienza. Locale, intimo, personale meraviglioso, sempre col sorriso . A partire dallo chef che ci ha presentato i piatti e le loro peculiarità in maniera eccellente, spiegandoci così anche un po' di storia della cucina ligure. Piatti buonissimi e porzioni abbondanti. Più che ottimo il rapporto qualità /prezzo! Bellissima la musica di sottofondo. Unico rimpianto : non averlo scoperto prima! Bravi Simonetta e Gianluca (da Bologna)

24/03/2025: A really cozy looking place. Unfortunately we don't speak Italian and communication in English was only possible with the cook. We had the wild boar and the truffle pasta. The meat dish was delicious, as was the polenta. Unfortunately, the pasta only tasted like pasta water and the truffle, which was generously grated, unfortunately had no aroma and didn't save the dish. When we asked, we received melted butter, but I wished they had simply offered me another dish. Not a word of regret when I returned almost all of it. We paid full price but didn't leave a tip because we didn't receive good service. Even if we don't speak the language, we still know when people are saying bad things about us. It's a shame, unfortunately we can't recommend the restaurant. Neither in terms of taste nor because of the service.

22/02/2025: Varied menu between sea and mountains, very good. Quick and friendly service. Nice internal environment, acceptable external environment even in winter. Prices adequate for the center of Genoa

15/02/2025: Go back! Complete mockery and rip-off! At the insistence of the well-educated waiter, we were warmly invited several times to taste the "exquisite and sensational" artichokes.... Off the menu (naturally).... Of which, shortly after, there were (look what) only 3 portions left... It goes without saying that, after some SCOTTE trofie with pesto (scandalous), we satisfied the waiter's desire, revamping our palates with the dying artichokes. Fortunately, we only ordered one portion, because the real surprise was the bill: a portion of artichokes (2 in number) costing 15 euros (see receipt). Now, being "off the menu", I take full responsibility for what happened. At least though, I left with my head held high, paying handsomely for my paltry salted artichokes, but letting the waiter know that I am NOT stupid. Environment? Old and in need of renovation. Other? I'd say that's enough. Ps: don't order ANYTHING you haven't seen the price on the menu

24/09/2024: Returning for a dinner with friends in this restaurant where a few years ago we had eaten an excellent "brandacuiun", we were welcomed with professionalism and friendliness by the new owner and made to sit in a panoramic position on the terrace overlooking the stream in a welcoming location. However, we are a little disappointed when the ordered dishes begin to arrive as the portions are quite modest, even if the food is of good quality. Given the context, it seemed out of place to want to follow the example of "nouvelle cuisine", where more generous portions would not have left us with a bitter taste in our mouths and would have encouraged us to return.

02/10/2024: Le service est très bien, la bouffe est correct, rien qui sort de l’ordinaire et le prix beaucoup trop élevé! Mais comme il n’y a pas grand endroit pour manger et se reposer le long du tunnel, on est porté à y aller! Ne vaut pas les euros payés

01/03/2025: Per chi ama una cucina semplice, ricca di sapori della Liguria e non da ultimo accurata, questo è il posto ideale per assaggiare i piatti di José. Noi ci siamo deliziati della battuta di manzo come antipasto, del coniglio alla ligure alla José e della Ombrina. I vini 🍷 sanno risaltare il sapore dei piatti e l’accoglienza e la cordialità è stata ineccepibile. Grazie a voi dell’osteria Cà da Jóse per averci donato questa meravigliosa opportunità. 16/02/2025: Bella location in centro nella zona pedonale. Ambiente tranquillo connpochi tavoli. Cuoco lasciato da solo che si è adoperato per raccogliere gli ordini....poi verso le 1315 è arrivata un sugnora (Forse drlla proprietà) Purtroppo servizio lentissimo 45 minuti di attesa. Hanno servito prima di noi una coppia arrivata dopo di noi, solo perché la signora si è lamentata dell attesa. Non hanno portato il pane ed abbiamo dovuto richiederlo. (Il tavolo accanto a noi lo ha chiesto 3 volte prima di riceverlo). Anche l attesa tra la portata e il dolce ...20 minuti. Siamo in vacanza ma così è un po troppo. I piatti: battuta di fassona salatissima, tagliata di tonno troppo cotto e secco.....il conto invece era già pronto 85 euro in 3 per 3 piatti e 2 dolci....OSTERIA?

31/03/2025: Ci siamo arrivati girovagando per Santa Margherita Ligure, senza aver cercato o letto altre recensioni. Lunedì sera 31 marzo, poca gente in giro, ci decidiamo per questo ristorante perché c’è una tavolata e la cosa ci ispira. Ottimo spaghetto alle vongole ed ottimo fritto, buoni i dessert.

On c régale pour 1 rapport qualité prix très bon . N'hésitez pas

17/03/2025: Restaurant/Pizzeria on the Portovenere seafront, tastefully furnished and with attention to every detail. Courteous and professional staff. We tasted 3 different pizzas and were super satisfied: tasty dough, perfect cooking and toppings with fresh and tasty ingredients. We will be back to taste the rest!!!

28/02/2025: Il servizio ai tavoli pessimo , gentilezza e cortesia inesistente. Tempi di attesa lunghissimi, un' ora e mezza di attesa per due risotti ai frutti mare che erano anche scotti e salatissimi. Non ci rivedranno più .
