This historic trattoria on the hills above Genoa, a place that hasn't been around for 60 years, is very quaint and beautiful. The raviloli are the best—be sure to ask for seconds—but the other dishes are excellent, too! The wine could be better, but all in all, it's drinkable. Highly recommended!

Excellent trattoria!!!!! I've been going there forever! Excellent Genoese cuisine, top-quality food, generous portions, a very beautiful and welcoming place. It's located in a beautiful, quiet, green area where you can go for a walk after your meal... lots of free parking... Prices are in line with the excellent quality of the food (practically everything homemade).

The decor is so-so... 1960s, neither rustic nor vintage. The food is good, priced at €45 per person with an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. The portions are generous, and the setting is lovely, on the hills of Serra Ricco. It's a restaurant from another era. The food is plentiful, the atmosphere is noisy, the tables are set up like a canteen. The cuisine is traditional and unfussy.

A trattoria frozen in time, where tradition and authenticity are a constant. Every time I go there and savor their must-have dishes, I'm reminded of the flavors, the love of my grandmother's Sunday lunches...that's what "La Campora" means to me. I'll continue to go to my grandmother's...

Trattoria Du Ruscin

03/04/2026: We had lunch at this typical Genoese restaurant to celebrate my dad's birthday. We ate well, I can't say otherwise, but there were some areas where it could be improved. For appetizers, we chose panissette and cuculli, a dry and crispy fried dish, but a bit bland. The best choice was the minced raw meat, served with several side dishes. The first courses were excellent; we tried pansoti with walnut sauce, pesto lasagna (not the smoothest, but a bit grainy, just the way I like it), and tagliolini with mushrooms and tuna, a truly beautiful dish. For the second course, we sampled a generous and delicious fried calamari and artichokes, while the Italian-style fritto misto, which we had high hopes for, was a disappointment: for €22, it consisted almost entirely of vegetables; the only piece of meat was a 4x4 cm steak, along with a small piece of ham and cheese. Dessert was brought to us at the end of the meal, after the birthday cake: not exactly a good choice, given that one of the dish's strengths is the combination of flavors. Overall, it was a good lunch, although quite pricey: €50 per person, but not everyone chose three courses, and we brought our own dessert. The fried appetizer, in particular, at €8, is excessive; after all, we're talking about flour and water. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, and the staff was very courteous; perhaps the younger waiters need a little more experience. There's a small parking lot at the entrance, so I suggest grouping diners in as few cars as possible.
15/03/2026: Wonderful place, it's been 30 years since the last time, friendly, they always pass by the tables, without asking, there's never a shortage of bread at the table..... Everything is delicious
