21/10/2025: It was a small but delicious place on a side street. We opted for a snack of pasta, potatoes, and tiramisu for lunch. Their pesto pasta was absolutely delicious. The fact that it's open, especially at lunchtime when most places in the area are closed, is a huge advantage for tourists. While we didn't particularly enjoy the tiramisu, we found the food delicious.

01/10/2025: Probably one of the worst veal tonnato dishes. The steak was ordered rare, but it arrived on the grill well done. The bill was €55 for an appetizer, steak, side dish, and coffee, which was definitely overpriced given the quality of the food.

09/12/2025: We booked a table for Sunday lunch and they were very kind, we even brought our 1-year-old golden retriever. So our four-legged friends are welcome 👌 We ate divinely. It's been a long time since we've experienced true home cooking like in the old days... fresh handmade pasta, all the sauces, pesto, and dressings, made exclusively by them, and the desserts... you really have to try everything! You won't regret it. And I noticed (even though I hardly drink) that the red wine didn't linger in my stomach at all; I usually don't digest it easily. In short, give it a try, it's really worth it 😊

14/09/2025: Well-deserved 5 stars, beautiful location Excellent dishes, I recommend the pansoti and the Italian-style fried food, and the desserts are also good (I tried the crunchy pistachio semifreddo, and oh my, it was amazing!). Excellent service, and the wait times aren't long.

28/10/2025: Excellent trattoria, with a limited menu, but all excellent. The pesto is delicious, unlike any other restaurant, along with other traditional Ligurian dishes. Friendly service, the place is always clean and tidy. The only drawback is the parking, but we're in Genoa, and that's standard practice. If you're in the area, give it a try: it's worth it.

08/12/2025: Nice campsite, the pitches are a bit small and the passages narrow, but that's okay in Liguria. It seems fairly shaded, is well-maintained, and clean. As already mentioned, it's in a great location, very close to the center of Levanto and the sea, and 1 km from the train station. The price is a shame: in November, it's €45 for two people and electricity. Perhaps the only one open this late in the season.

02/11/2025: This was my second time eating here. The first time I ate in the evening, and despite the limited seating in the dining room, we had to wait forever to be served. I have to say, everything we ordered was good. We returned on a Saturday for lunch, and the restaurant was crowded. This confirmed that eating requires a lot of patience. Between ordering and being seated, we waited 50 minutes, and I have to say, the appetizer was mediocre, except for the creamed cod. The artichokes that accompanied it were a bit disappointing. I won't go into detail about the house appetizer, which was sent back to the sender, except for the cured meats, of course. Another 45 minutes for the first course after we'd finished the appetizer. It was unnerving. I won't be returning.

08/12/2025: The food was good, traditional cuisine. The problem was that, even though we ordered first, we didn't even have time to finish our food, and they asked us to leave the table for a shift change. There were two adults and a child. We simply waited for food and ate, without wasting any time. We would have liked dessert, but we sensed a rush. When paying, I kindly advised us to wait at least 70 minutes; 50 minutes had passed since we arrived promptly at 7:30 PM, as per our reservation. I was met with a brusque and rude response, with meaningless excuses. I understand the difficulties in managing reservations; mistakes can happen; just be honest and say, "Sorry, we've overlapped reservations; you should be finished in 40 minutes." We would have understood and accepted. Instead, we were served after others who had ordered after us, forced to leave the table as soon as we finished our last bite, and finally verbally treated with little professionalism and courtesy. Hospitality is as crucial as the quality of the food; unfortunately, we're going home with a tarnished memory of this restaurant. First time this has happened to us in years in Genoa.

14/12/2025: Excellent cuisine. The Orecchia d'elefante (true Milanese) is the best! We returned today, December 21, 2024, and it's always excellent. We returned yesterday, December 13, 2013, and wanted to vary and try different dishes: Beef Tartare, Foie Gras, Stockfish with Green Sauce, Crème Caramel, and Chestnut Semifreddo. As always, everything was delicious, and the place is highly recommended.

23/11/2025: I was there for the first time over thirty years ago. I still remember the nickname of a very friendly waiter, 'Maciste' 🙂. I've been back several times, the last a couple of years ago. The great thing about this place is that the cuisine, which is traditional, hasn't changed much. The trio of first courses, which can even be four or five if you like, are a must! But the meat is also spectacular. You usually leave here full and satisfied. Top 💯💯💯 The first courses are always delicious

19/11/2025: We arrived at Trattoria Settembrin on October 26th, during a motorcycle trip with friends. The restaurant is located in Carasco, a small hamlet in a quiet area of ​​the Graveglia Valley, next to the stream of the same name. It's a very quaint place, but with limited space around it. I must say that being on a motorcycle helped, as with a car we would have had a harder time finding parking near the entrance. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old-fashioned trattoria, with a family-friendly atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The frescoes on the ceiling in the upper room are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful, even though the restaurant was full, which inevitably made things a bit slow—all in all, normal for a busy place. We were pleased with the food: typical Ligurian dishes, generous portions, and authentic flavors. The first courses, in particular, were very good; personally, I would have liked them tossed in their sauce and not just placed on top, just to help the pasta bind together better and bring out the sauce even more. Everything that followed was delicious, with homemade and delicious main courses and side dishes. The quality/price ratio was more than fair, and we left feeling satisfied.

19/07/2025: Ristorante casalingo, ben illuminato. Nuovo accogliente, ampi parcheggi. Servizio veloce e puntuale. Staff gentile, servizievole, con il sorriso e simpatici. Ravioli al ragù, fiorentine e angus abbondanti ben cotte e caldissime. Patatine a volontà e verdure grigliate. Tutto bagnato da un ottimo vino rosso Montepulciano.
