18/08/2025: This is a trattoria that many years ago embarked on a fantastic journey, a difficult one, but one that is bringing satisfaction to both its customers and its management. The dishes are a sort of exploration of the past with a modern presentation, and the success of this encounter lies in the final flavor. The wine list offers a good selection. The restroom, for me the hallmark of a restaurant, is always clean and tidy. From the service to the kitchen, the all-female team is in command: Signora Barbara, but watch out for the general's mother! She dresses like a lamb, but... Friendliness, friendliness, and helpfulness don't come cheap, and there's plenty of it; the rest is fair game.

17/08/2025: Typical Ligurian ‘up the mountain’ place, where you eat food from the land (but better than most). Great porcini. Tasty pasta. Good meat. Great winelist.

10/09/2025: This was the first place we visited. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant. I can't say that the food was not tasty, but I can't say that it was delicious either, maybe it's just not our thing, we took a set of 3 seafood dishes for each, we liked the local wine.

23/08/2025: We already knew this restaurant and were happy to return. Excellent service, the ladies are incredibly kind, generous portions, excellent quality, and meticulously prepared. Special attention was paid to our setter... What can we say, for us, it's the best restaurant in Spotorno! Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: The food was good, but too expensive for the quantity served. The dishes arrived with a long, long gap between each diner, whether they were similar (the same chickpea farinata) or different. It was August, but the heat inside was stifling (and the air conditioning was off).

22/08/2025: Unfortunately, after 40 years of frequenting this restaurant, the time has come to say goodbye to this osteria :( We've tried several times since the change of management, but last night we really hit rock bottom. The farinata is still decent (though nothing compared to the "historic" one), but the cuisine is truly unimaginable. In the past, there were only a few dishes, but with unique flavors. The mussels in particular and the stuffed sardines. Last night, mussels weren't on the menu (and not last year either), marinated anchovies that tasted only of vinegar, flavorless stuffed sardines, and we sent the fried ones back because they were heavy and inedible. We had a 40-minute wait between the farinata and the other dishes. What a shame...

04/08/2025: Ottima qualità ad un ottimo prezzo. Veloci nel servire, ma sopratutto..cosa sempre più rara... gentili e accoglienti. Un posto che suggerisco sicuramente. Piccolo ma accogliente. Pulito e curato.

03/08/2025: Pochi tavoli all'aperto; qualcuno in più all'interno. Solida cucina locale. Prezzi decisamente contenuti, per la qualità proposta. Molti avventori del luogo (ottimo segno!). Il titolare e i Collaboratori vi offriranno un servizio corretto e sollecito.

28/08/2025: If you're looking for authenticity and genuineness without too many frills, then you're in the right place! Try their homemade pasta and fried fish. All served on the outdoor terrace, surrounded by the colors of the beautiful village of Bordighera. Bravo!!!

23/08/2025: A truly welcoming establishment, with a very friendly owner who explained the various amenities in the area to us. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was very generous for a 2-star hotel. Excellent parking, and there's even a spare one (in case the first one is full). The hotel itself also has a bar with a tobacconist and a ticket office for the bus that takes you down to Framura and various nearby places. There's also an excellent restaurant below the hotel with divine food. We'll be back.

20/08/2025: This beautiful restaurant, overlooking the sea, offers traditional dishes and everything you could want, including gluten-free options. When I discovered it, I was thrilled and immediately wanted to try the focaccia, which was delicious and very filling. I highly recommend it.

19/08/2025: I chose this place because I was intrigued by their social media marketing, which touts Ligurian focaccia as a unique experience. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. The focaccia we were served was small, poorly prepared, and definitely not a substitute for a full meal, as they suggested. So we ordered a first course, trofie with pesto, which, unfortunately, lacked flavor. To top it all off, a glass of house Vermentino for €7.50, a price unjustified by the overall quality. A real shame, because a region so rich in tradition deserves to be showcased through authenticity and respect for the ingredients, not just through pretty social media images.

19/05/2025: Qualità del cibo ottima, la carne era tenerissima, consiglio di avere più alternative vegetariane, le verdure sono tutte fritte e di specificare meglio sul meno, la focaccina in realtà era ungnocco fritto. Vista sul golfo top, personale gentile, servizio scorrevole. Da provare anche i piatti del giorno

22/04/2025: Buono consiglio i triangolini ai pinoli per il resto normale amministrazione buono anche il dessert peccato che le fave erano marce dentro il bacello ma questo non penso dipenda dal ristorante

06/09/2025: Best typical food in Sori. Nice food, nice wine, best focaccia, friendly service. If you wanna have a nice evening go there. Better to reserve or wait till you get a table. Servers speak English and they ok with it. Reasonable prices ... I just loved it

25/08/2025: This Ligurian restaurant is where I go every time I'm in Giovi to visit my granddaughter Mirta. The food is excellent, with specialties of the highest quality, and the service is priceless. A must-visit if you're in the area, but it's also worth a trip from Genoa.

Highly recommended for those seeking authentic quality and a great culinary experience...the trofie and sandwiches are highly recommended.

01/09/2025: We stopped for a quick dinner. We were skeptical at first because we thought it was a purely touristy place. Instead, we ate wonderfully. The first courses were delicious, the fried fish was excellent, and to top it all off, the desserts were top-notch! The three-chocolate cake deserves 10 stars 🤩. The waiters were also super nice. Highly recommended.
