For every special occasion, it remains my favorite restaurant in downtown Genoa, and I'm never wrong, whether it's the à la carte menu or the daily specials, or the wine cellar, including "unusual" champagnes, which I adore. As soon as the weather permits, I love the outdoor space, especially for lunch under the pergola. For me, it's an oasis of tranquility, peace, and a culinary experience in downtown Genoa.

It's like stepping into authentic old Genoa. High-quality ingredients, a wonderful atmosphere, and a warm welcome. One of those historic osterias worth protecting.

A truly positive experience. A lovely place, well-decorated and with well-spaced tables, in a central area of ​​Genoa yet secluded enough to enjoy a quiet setting. Easily accessible by public transport and on foot. The ingredients are certainly of high quality, and you can taste it. We enjoyed fried anchovies and lean capon, both expertly cooked. Then the stewed cuttlefish and spaghetti with fish sauce were truly delicious. The service was impeccable, with its friendliness, helpfulness, and attentive service. The wine selection was good. We were a bit rushed due to our theater appointment, but we'll be back to enjoy other dishes at our leisure. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!

Ostaia a Ribotta is an exceptional osteria. The food and drink were excellent. Excellent quality and service. Clean and friendly. I'll know where to return next time I'm in Genoa. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

01/06/2026: Highly recommended! We went quite early, and I highly recommend it if you have kids, as the place fills up quickly. The fish and mussels were incredibly fresh, the Vermentino was excellent, and the trofie al pesto was superb! The waiters were kind, friendly, and welcoming to the kids. We had a great experience.
17/05/2026: A pleasant surprise hidden in Genoa's alleyways. Kudos to the owners. Delicious Ligurian food.
