05/04/2024: Italian restaurant just outside the historic center of Persiceto, visited on several occasions. The place offers both a menu of purely traditional recipes and a series of proposals where you experiment a little more and/or use non-local ingredients. During my visits I have tried both things and always found it good, particularly with the first courses. Even the slightly more original dishes often had a truly interesting outcome! Often a small welcome snack is provided, at the table there is also a basket with various types of bread in small loaves. The environment is organized into 3/4 internal or external rooms, it is informal and without excess. The staff in general are ok, occasionally they can run into some little things but nothing that should preclude an absolutely positive experience. Fair price for what is offered. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a rotisserie side where you can buy ready-made take away food or even freshly cooked first courses to take away as soon as they come out of the pan. Recommended for everyone!

04/04/2024: Finally a cuisine without a "masterchef in the head": simple but well made, excellent, plentiful and also economical. Only the service was a little "rough"... but a bad day happens to everyone. Well done "Officina del gusto"

In un angolo tranquillo di questa incantevole città, ho scoperto un piccolo gioiello gastronomico che ha superato ogni mia aspettativa: il più delizioso gnocco fritto che abbia mai assaggiato. Il gnocco fritto qui è semplicemente divino: caldo, soffice e incredibilmente leggero. La croccantezza dorata della superficie si fonde con la morbidezza dell'impasto, creando un contrasto di consistenze che è un piacere per il palato. Servito con una selezione di salumi freschi e formaggi locali, ogni morso è una celebrazione dei sapori autentici dell'Emilia-Romagna. 01/04/2024: Well-made traditional cuisine, interesting off-menu proposals, attentive and fast service, breaded lamb is fried very good, tagliatelle with morels also, informal trattoria environment just the way I like it, wine list with various proposals, prices in line with other restaurants, periodically live music, very convenient parking, without architectural barriers to access the restaurant. In summer also covered outside. Desserts next time.

28/01/2024: The dinner, based on Emilian dishes, was discreet. The tortelli with wild asparagus were interesting, but not very well prepared: too much cheese which hid the flavor of the asparagus. The wine chosen by Tonio was excellent: a stunning Promis from the Gaja winery!

04/03/2024: Kindness and Courtesy are always present The gnocco and tigelle are served with quality cured meats. The first courses are good and the service is fast and efficient. Not to mention the excellent homemade cakes. Super Recommended

17/03/2024: Ordinato tortelloni con ricotta e tartufo conditi con funghi + gnocco e tigelle con salumi e pesto. I tortelloni sono super squisitissimi... Ottimi anche gnocco e tigelle e salumi. Con acqua, caraffa vino, caffè d'orzo, in due abbiamo speso € 42,50...quindi più che buono anche il rapporto qualità prezzo.

23/03/2024: Entering the Bar Cantone, you immediately notice the billiard tables.. Soft lights and even a Serie A championship in progress. But there is no time to stop, just at the back the room of a quiet trattoria welcomes you. If the large blackboard on which the menu is written leaves you in any doubt, don't worry, ask the two girls in the dining room for advice who explain the dishes so well that you can already taste them. Unmissable fried gnocco with delicious locally produced cold cuts, delicious macaroni al comb with rib ragù, tasty green ravioli with balsamic vinegar... the good kind.... The rest of the delicacies and desserts will be for next time... We will definitely be back on our way back from the north to Rome

18/03/2024: purtroppo da qualche tempo la qualità del cibo di questo ristorante è calata. Primi pieni di condimenti inutili, carne alla griglia arrivata fredda e con scelta carni troppo banale. Serata in cui c'erano tavolate grandi, è vero, ma in passato si mangiava molto meglio. Conto finale troppo alto per quello che ci hanno proposto.

26/02/2024: Despite the request, we were not provided with a menu with prices, and in my opinion this is unacceptable as well as not complying with catering standards. They took the order after about 30 minutes, even though the reservation was for 1.30pm. We ate very well but €30 each for 1 course (first or second course) + dessert is definitely too much.
