20/04/2025: Terrible experience; we paid €34 for 2 samples of first courses and 2 samples of second courses, there were 15 of us and we had to go to eat somewhere else, treated very badly, they didn't even put bread and breadsticks at the table, not to mention that from one they served us the second course at 3.35pm

10/05/2025: In this tavern you can enjoy excellent traditional food from Reggio Emilia, enjoying an experience reminiscent of the "restaurant of the past". The owner (and waiter) is friendly bordering on rudeness: he uses folkloric ways that are far too intrusive, sometimes almost annoying. To my question about the possible presence of sesame or derivatives in the dishes, he responded by making fun of me and, shortly afterwards, brought some sesame breadsticks to the table... Having escaped the risk of anaphylactic shock, we waited for the dishes for about two hours! With my hunger gone, I was unable to fully enjoy the dishes which, it must be said, were undoubtedly excellent. Reluctantly, I don't think I will return.

15/05/2025: We have been to this restaurant many times and I am very sorry to have to give a bad review to the behavior of the restaurateurs. Dogs are accepted but if they bark they are thrown out!!! It was very embarrassing for us to be asked to leave, twice in a few minutes! It is true that my little 2 kg maltipoo barked when we entered, but he would have stopped as soon as he had settled in. With perhaps 100 noisy guests celebrating, it was almost impossible to talk, but Shark was annoying. Too bad: there are other restaurants where dogs, who sometimes bark a little, are really welcome!

04/05/2025: Porzioni abbondanti che non ce lo aspettavamo, ideale se volete provare cibi tipici emiliani. Consigliamo gli gnocchi fritti e le tigelle che li accompagnano con il lardo fatto a casa e il grana FAVOLOSE.

06/05/2025: Very welcoming and spacious place! The "tigelle" and "THE" fried gnocco are good, I often come in the evening and the value for money is excellent!!! I recently tried it on my lunch break and I recommend it for the price and speed, very suitable for workers, but the quality is a bit neglected! Anyway, worth trying for quick lunches!!!

04/05/2025: After not going there for some time, my family and I tried the restaurant's pizzas again, we asked for 4 pizzas, they arrived cold, because they left them on the counter for more than 10 minutes before delivering them to us (and there was no confusion in the restaurant), the toppings of the 4 (classic) pizzas were all wrong and moreover they were burnt and with acidic tomato puree. I understand human error but it's not a place I would return to.

24/03/2025: Mangiare al Cavallino Bianco è sempre una esperienza bellissima perché è come ritornare bambina e ricordare certi sapori che ormai è difficile trovare. Il culatello il prosciutto, lo strolghino , la spalla cotta, la loro giardiniera sono piatti superlativi, per non parlare dei tagliolini al burro di Vacche Rosse con il culatello , i secondi ricchi di gusto,I dolci ottimi insomma provare per credere! La gentilezza del proprietario è innata e quindi ti senti veramente a casa di amici. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci.

02/01/2025: Abbiamo pranzato al Cavallino Bianco proprio ieri per festeggiare il nuovo anno. Era da tempo che non andavamo e devo ammettere che è stato davvero un gradito ritorno. I locale è curato e il padrone di casa è stato davvero molto accogliente: in primis con i nostri due cani che si sono trovati oltre a due ciotole con acqua fresca anche due cadeaux speciali! Sono quelle "carezze" che ti fanno subito entrare in empatia con il ristorante. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze abbiamo spaziato dai salumi (strolghino, culatelli, spalla cotta e prosciutto crudo) e ovviamente giardiniera, ai classici anolini, ai secondi tradizionali come il guanciale e la punta di vitello. Il tutto accompagnato dallo Strologo Brut Metodo Classico, vino davvero notevole. Che dire se non: GRAZIE!

09/03/2025: Gentilezza , simpatia e qualità si incrociano ritrovandosi in un caloroso ambiente a conduzione familiare. Antipasti , gnocchi al pomodoro ed ai 4 formaggi, trippa alla parmigiana, arrosto di faraona e per finire gelato, torte e caffè. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ricomplimenti al al Signor Oscar ed alla moglie ottima cuoca che con maestria cucina ottimi piatti mantenendo ferme e risaltando le qualità della cucina parmigiana. Assolutamente da consigliare.
