17/05/2026: Where to begin? With the wonderful, cheerful welcome we received upon entry, which continued throughout the dinner.
The restaurant is meticulously maintained, down to the smallest detail, and the fireplace in the background makes it stunning.
The cuisine is excellent, and the wine list is well-curated.
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Appetizer with sliced fried polenta, no torta fritta, and a piece of bread.
Service was minimal, with long wait times.
Food quality was nothing special.
Minimal air conditioning.
Good value for money. The location was very beautiful.
We won't be returning.

10/07/2026: The fried gnocco they're making right now is special. The tigelle are also good, and the side dishes are appreciated.
It's a shame that everything was delivered so quickly that the tigelle had to cool.
Then the next tigelle ordered arrived after a long wait. Perhaps it's just a matter of timing, which could be improved with all the waiters they have (compared to yesterday, which may have been a fluke).
10/07/2026: Excellent daily menu; I also ordered the gnocco fritto and tigelle. The service was courteous and quick.

I ordered the lasagna, and it was made layer by layer instead of the usual heavy style
After one bite, I understood why people were willing to wait

All customers are served gnocco fritto with ham, which is delicious.
We ordered some first courses, which were truly delicious.
Anyway, if you're in the area, it's a must-see.
In the kitchen, you'll find some beautiful women who cook beautifully.

07/06/2026: I went for dinner on a Saturday evening in June. I was greeted with extreme kindness by all the staff. I ordered a medium grill with roast potatoes and a basket of 4 crescentine. The service was fast. The crescentine were good, but most importantly, not greasy. The meat was good. I'll probably go back.

08/03/2026: Ristorante Cattini is located in a hidden green area in the hamlet of l'Orologia in Quattro Castella.
The interior dining room is medium-sized and very quaint.
The staff is professional and friendly.
The menu features a few traditional dishes at reasonable prices for the quantity/quality offered, and there's a wide selection of wines.
Their strong point is the variety of boiled and roast meats from the cart, served freshly to each diner.
The zuppa inglese is truly delicious.
The bathrooms are clean, despite the squat toilet in the women's room, which isn't ideal for everyone.
Outside, there's a small play area and a patio with some seating.
27/02/2026: A place that's one of my favorites, where time has stood still for a few years in favor of substance. The first courses are good, and the roasts and boiled meats are expertly cooked.
If I ever come back to the area,
I'll definitely return.
