05/01/2026: I go there often and I have to say that everything is very very good, the staff is always at the complete disposal of the customer and above all the tortellini, cotoletta alla petroniana, the Bensone, the Zuppa inglese are of the highest level.

09/12/2025: What else can I say about this restaurant other than that it's my safe haven; every special occasion is the perfect backdrop. The Clo family makes you feel at home, not to mention their incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. Every dish is excellent. For me, it's the best restaurant in the area.

27/11/2025: We dined at Calcagno with our family and found the food to be excellent, with attentive and appropriate preparation for our two-year-old, courteous staff, and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. We were also treated to a delicious entrée and a truly superb digestif (a spoonful of sugar)! The price is a bit high, but given the many positives, it's worth it every now and then.

27/10/2025: My rating refers to the restaurant, not the inn's rooms. Therefore, the "Rooms," "Service," and "Location" fields make no sense. I tried reporting this using Google, but I can't find a way. This is a medium-high level restaurant; its Michelin star is well-deserved. We ate (lunch) in a beautiful and refined setting, the dishes were truly delicious, and the welcome was truly warm, even for our dog. A special mention for the "torta degli ebrei," a specialty of Finale Emilia, a sort of cheese puff pastry, eaten as an appetizer, wrapped in yellow paper and eaten directly in bites. Everything was delicious and well-prepared; an experience worth repeating.

05/01/2026: I had lunch on January 3, 2026. The herb and ricotta ravioli were excellent, but the roast duck was a bit less so. If I may make a point, the excellent rum you served me should be poured into a thinner, wider glass and heated to better release its aromas.

03/01/2026: Been today after visiting the Bardi Castle, restaurant a stone's throw away, unfortunately the only one open at this time, only intended as a choice, very beautiful environment, ancient but well renovated, the exposed stone, a beautiful view, very good food, recommended the crocette (discs of pasta with the brand) with Bardi sauce and sliced ​​​​Fassona arugula and parmesan, shame only for the roast potatoes too hard (I think, from too many times reheated) excellent wine list, desserts equally very good, average cost, small flaw a table near the exit to access an outdoor room, in winter it is a torture for the cold/hot customer, it would need at least a partition or remove the table, anyway recommended.

30/09/2025: I had the tagliata with arugula and parmesan, well-cooked just the way I like it. The tigelle and gnocco were excellent. The prosciutto was sweet. The only flaw was the soundproofing, which could be improved. Otherwise, everything was fine, even the bill, which was fair for what we had eaten.

18/10/2025: We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday. It was magical, because we are both passionate about Ferrari, and we ate very well. The only thing about the second courses, in terms of our tastes, was that there was not much choice (because we don't eat pigeon or eel, etc.) but the dishes were superb, the service and courtesy were excellent.
