I ate some lamb ribs, quite good, but unfortunately there were really 4 of them. The food is quite good, the wine is good, every now and then you go there with friends and spend an evening.

After being there a while ago, I returned and I must admit I was disappointed by the quality, service, and price. I don't know what's changed in the meantime, but the quality Reggio Emilia food, the kind and helpful service, combined with the fair price, makes me recommend it 👍

I've always gone during lunchtime. The set menu is varied and imaginative, and not at all predictable. The service is fast, and there's plenty of parking. At the entrance, there's a display case with some very tasty cuts of meat. I'll definitely be back to try the delicious rib-eye steak.

The lamb melted in your mouth! The fried gnocchi were not heavy at all, and the 36-month-old prosciutto was simply perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful! I'll be back!

18/04/2026: Without any pretensions to refinement, it's a lovely place to meet, sit at the village tables, enjoy company, and savor excellent local gastronomic specialties. A warm welcome, a smile, and Emilian courtesy are guaranteed!
12/04/2026: It's a deli with tables, the products are authentic, the owners are very kind... I've been going there for years. Highly recommended.

18/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us while we were passing through Castelnovo ne Monti. The atmosphere was quiet (until two guys at one table listened to their nephew's entire piano recital on their phones at high volume 🤭). We ordered three side dishes, a main course, and a bottle of water, and we paid a lot for what we ate. It's a shame we found out too late that one of the side dishes was double-billed and that the cover charge was exorbitant! I was disappointed with this experience, because overall, what I ate was good.
17/05/2026: I had lunch here and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is well-kept, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere and professional yet friendly service. The quality of the dishes is immediately apparent: fresh ingredients, well-balanced flavors. The menu is also very interesting, showcasing traditional dishes. The wine list is excellent, well-stocked and consistent with the cuisine. A restaurant that stands out in the Castelnovo ne' Monti area and I recommend it both for a break from the hustle and bustle and for more special occasions. It's definitely a place I'd return to.
