06/07/2024: It was recommended to us and luckily for us we had such a great time that we had dinner there two nights in a row. The service is excellent and not only with regular customers. The appetizer at the buffet is excellent, the only problem is the abundance and therefore you risk not enjoying the other courses. I tried the risotto with fresh porcini mushrooms and I must admit that I had never eaten anything so good. The other first courses are also truly spectacular. Maybe a few more grams could have been added, but the taste makes up for everything. Prices absolutely in relation to the quality. If you are passing through Bologna and want to eat well outside the tourist norm, then try the Alice restaurant.

18/08/2024: Απλό γευστικό φαγητό χωρίς κάτι το πάρα πολύ ιδιαίτερο! Ότι πήραμε ήταν νόστιμα αλλά και αλλού τα βρίσκεις όχι κάτι το εξαιρετικό Χωρίς κλιματιστικά ή έστω ανεμιστήρες Οι σερβιτόροι θα μπορούσαν να είναι λίγο πιο ευγενικοί

18/07/2024: Fake authentic Bolognese trattoria. Mediocre quality food (as a compliment) for which I was even sick. Intrusive service that claims to be friendly. All in all, a nice place, even if the red and white checkered tablecloths confirm what is written above.

10/07/2024: Food ok, wine of a not excellent quality and unpleasant happened at the cash register where three of us told him that the bill had to be divided by 7 but he divided it by 6, the good thing is that he wanted to be right... badly

19/08/2024: We had a very memorable lunch at Drogheria della Rosa. We (four people) arrived without reservation, the owner himself made sure to arrange the tables so we had a nice spot on the lovely terrace. We started off our meal with a complementary glass of white wine and an appetizer. We shared some lovely vitello tonnato as a starter. As a main course I tried a typical local dish: the tortellini in brodo, which was really good. The wine we had with our meal was equally as good. We loved sitting under the parasols on the terrace, adjacent to some lovey portico's. We ended our meal with a glass of grappa. The owner left the bottle on our table so we could pour us an extra glass if we wanted. Appreciated! Highy recommended.

13/08/2024: Not a gastropub by any stretch of the imagination... need to run the lager off at the start of the day, was served a couple rancid pints. edit - your beers were jank it was the pub showing English football and serving burgers but the kitchen wasn't open yet.

02/08/2024: Too expensive, a glass of beer costs 6.50 EUR. We didn't even get a coaster. Look for pubs further from the center and you will drink beer for less than 4 EUR.

25/07/2024: For me a certainty and among the best fish restaurants in Bologna. The review could also end here. You certainly shouldn't expect a chic environment or an elevated presentation of the dishes, in fact quite the opposite... but the price and the freshness/goodness of the fish cannot be discussed in the slightest! The portions are extremely generous, so be careful with your orders, especially when it comes to fish which costs by weight. Both the first courses, the second courses and the fried dishes are really good, in particular I recommend the octopus (very soft, eaten several times) with potatoes and the first courses such as spaghetti with clams or even better with octopus. If you are interested in substance, this is certainly the fish restaurant for you in Bologna.

20/07/2024: One star is not for the poorly maintained location or for the not very efficient service due to a guy with little experience and I can understand that, but eating in a not very satisfying way and I am generous in my opinion, and having to pay especially for mixed fried food for two people for 38 euros which wasn't worth it in terms of quality, you sit at the table and you don't have a menu you end up paying 68 euros for a sauté of mussels and clams how sad and a fried dish with prawns a water and house wine I repeat at 68 euro you will never see me again

10/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, ottimo il tagliere e grande scoperta del "friggione", un piatto a base di cipolle cotte a bassa temperatura e con aggiunta di pomodoro. I primi gustosi ed abbondanti, i secondi ben presentati , il roast beef sembra prosciutto tanto è rosato. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, da provare

27/08/2024: Non capisco le recensioni negative. Partiamo dalla location, molto particolare. Personale gentile, pulizia, cibo buono, certo, il posto e' molto turistico (l'unico vicino al monastero) ma gestito bene. Buona qualita' del cibo

25/08/2024: Rude, rude and arrogant owner. A ham sandwich and 2 "Coca Cola" €15.50. Furthermore, we asked for a Coca Cola and they did not inform us that they had an Italian brand (Mole Cola). Not recommended, go eat/drink elsewhere. Classic place to rip off tourists.

04/07/2024: Valentino & C. are always very nice hosts, the cuisine is typical and the particular place inside the Casalecchio train station is worth it!!!!

03/08/2024: This gem is easy to overlook, and you’d be missing out if you did so. The food is inexpensive, and amazingly good, the wine list happy making, and the staff is happy to explain stuff and/or just hang out if they don’t have too much to do All in all, about as classic a Bologna experience as they come! Oh, and they have live music often, with the summers being particularly cool (ok hot. Bologna 🙄) with tables on the street outdoors and a band most nights…)

05/07/2024: Ottimi piatti della tradizione ed anche rivisitati in una location molto bella. Il gruppo che si è esibito in chiave blues piacevolissimo. Il servizio al tavolo (Maria) sempre attento e professionale. Ricetta vincente, ci rivedremo.
