From the outside you wouldn't give two cents, when you enter, you see a lot of confusion, but when you sit down and start eating it all goes away! A show. Beyond the menu with modest prices (rare to find) first courses €8/9 second courses €9/10 the portions are generous and the quality is good. Food, as they say in Rome, is ignorant, heavy to digest but spectacular. Highly recommended, even if noisy. Friendly staff.

The staff did not speak much English, so it was sometimes difficult to communicate. A very pleasant, traditional Italian place. The lasagna was excellent. However, what surprised us was tiramisu della casa for €8, which is much more than the average price for tiramisu in the city. Tiramisu was offered to us off the menu, so we didn't know in advance what its price would be. Otherwise we recommend.

A historic trattoria frequented by artists, one of the best known in Bologna. Reservations are recommended and portions are generous. There is no shortage of lambrusco :)

The real trattoria of Bologna, since the university days and in fact it is still very popular with students. Spartan but warm at the same time, identical to itself but with always new customers. The definition of a "classic" in short. Good quality food, substantial and in generous portions as is no longer common unfortunately and good quality/price ratio especially in this city where it is now almost impossible to eat decently at reasonable prices

Don't be fooled by the external appearance!!! Characteristic place from other times, and it shows. Perhaps not beautiful at first glance, a little neglected but this is the calling card of those places with great tradition and quality, it is no coincidence that it is one of the most important places in Bologna (frequented among others by Guccini and Dalla). Typical dishes of excellent quality, excellent and above all fast service. Absolutely worth trying, I recommend booking well in advance.

Serata informale in un luogo informale. Ambiente caldo, rustico ed un po' spartano. Sevizio rapido e cortese. Cibi della tradizione bolognese e piatti locali ben cucinato. Vini locali come Lambrusco e toscani (Sangiovese). Menù ricco e con molta possibilità di scelta in tutte le portate....

Abbiamo voluto provare la cucina di questa trattoria , che era frequentata da quel genio della musica che era Lucio Dalla . L'ambiente è un po' retrò per non dire trasandato . La milanese , di vitello , era buona come lo era pure il bollito misto accompagnato da una salsa verde , che non era la solita salsa industriale . Il tutto accompagnato da 1/2 litro di rosso ( senza lode e senza infamia ) acqua e 2 caffè 37,5 €. Onesto

07/04/2024: It wasn't the first time we came to have lunch at this restaurant. The place is nice, the food is quality and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Even though it was Easter Sunday, which is notoriously to be avoided due to too many people and the risk of poorer service, we had a good time. The restaurant was obviously full but we still ate well and at a fair price. We will definitely be back.
31/03/2024: Friendly and easy-going place, quick service (despite the Easter crowd) and above all kind, abundant and tasty cuisine that respects tradition, affordable price, very generous owner towards children. I recommend stopping for refreshments if you want to live a Bolognese experience both in terms of tasting and hospitality. Last but not least, a place that supports research into epilepsy.

07/04/2024: One of the best lasagnas I’ve had in my life ! We waited around 20 mins but the line moved rather quickly and it was totally worth it
06/04/2024: The food is good but I expected more for Bologna standards. It seems more for Tuists than for lovers of Bolognese cuisine. Tagliatelle with meat sauce below the level that I wouldn't eat. Delicious tortellini but the broth was not very tasty and too oily, while usually drinking the broth is the best part, here I had to leave it. Lasagna on the other hand is super, the dish you absolutely have to try. Fried Tortellini appetizer good but for the quality of the pasta, fried ones don't work in my opinion.
