29/08/2024: Was recommended we head down Via del Pratello...wherr the locals hang out. Such a great vibe. Some interesting art along this bumping cobblestone alley. This restaurant was great, the bolognese, lasagna, the vino amd tiramisu where outstanding. Staff were attentive and super kind.

28/08/2024: A rather disappointing and subpar experience. Service friendly but not very attentive. Prices high. Ambience at best average. 2€ coperta and you don't even get bread for that. Paying is only possible indoors. Pasta itself is good, the sauces completely lack spice.

05/08/2024: We were very lucky to get the last unreserved table outside, but there is plenty of space inside as well. That being said, the outside dining in Bologna's charming old streets as dusk falls is wonderful. This place focusses on traditional dishes and local ingredients, presented simply, but cooked excellently. The tigelli breads were hot and fresh, with the parmesan sharing board generous, and served with honey. It makes me sad that I live in an area where that much excellent cheese would be 5 times the price. We went on to have the lasagne verdi, which was rich and crisp, but not over powering. The type of lasagne that comes to mind when you close your eyes and think of one. We also had the polpette, which are served with peas. This is a traditional homely meatball dish, but the peas add a freshness and lightness that make it taste summery. We ordered a side of mashed potato, which was more of a potato puree, and was indulgent. Wine choices are good, as is common in the area. Most restaurants around here seem to have a similar menu. Not the longest menu, but a solid choice of local varieties and also a carafe of cheap house wine that is entirely drinkable (again, common everywhere here). Price was €25 per person and we were very satisfied. I'm sure you could go for the much longer multi-course experience, but there's so much to see and do in Bologna we found ourselves being less inclined to commit a while evening to one place, but if you have time, this is a great spot.

26/07/2024: Locale conosciuto grazie ad amiche bolognesi alcuni anni fa, è diventato una “tradizione “ della mia famiglia ogni volta che siamo a Bologna. Locale in centro caratteristico, servizio gentile, spuma di mortadella e fettuccine strepitose. Ottime anche le crescentine con lo squacquerone. In realtà il menù propone parecchie altre cose, ma queste ci piacciono talmente che le prendiamo sempre, anche se sarebbe giusto provare altro!

05/06/2024: Locare carino sulla via Emilia appena fuori Bologna, menù tipico bolognese, Ke tagliatelle era veramente buone come i tortelli di zucca, la cotoletta alla Bolognese, eravamo andati per quel piatto in particolare mi ha deluso un po', unta e non molto calda. Buono lo zabaione con i biscottini 😔

23/02/2024: Accogliente sotto i portici di via Farini. Monosala,con 35/40 posti,tovaglie a quadretti, foto storiche del Bologna calcio. Gestione forse variata.Camerieri giovani gentili.Preso Tortellini in brodo buoni,passatelli un po’ flosci,cordoncini particolari,ossobuco trabordante. Mascarpone buono ma troppo liquido,torta di riso . mmmh. Conto giusto.

13/01/2024: Recommended by local. Mostly locals eat here. Preferable to have a reservation made 1 day in advance. Great cutlet. Better than the dozen versions we had in Switzerland or Austria. (Sorry) Pasta was really good. Try the eggplant appetizer. It is a large portion so be careful. Eggplant was soft, lucious and full of taste. Had we known, we'd had the cutlet and eggplant as the main meal! House red wine was as expected, tasty. Dessert, the local English soup, really a vanilla cake smothered in chocolate, almost like a Boston cream pie. An amazing topper for the evening. Service was good. We navigated the language barrier. It all worked. Good Attention from staff.

24/07/2024: Servizio e locale rustici, tempi di attesa non brevissimi, porzioni sempre abbondanti ma qualità non sempre all'altezza (es. le tagliatelle alla romagnola oltre a burro e prosciutto c'era tanra panna, neache fossero tortellini). Alle 20:30 i tortelloni erano già finiti... mah.

11/08/2024: Mr. Fabio Biagi and his staff are kings. Food is 10/10 authentic bolognese. The atmosphere and outdoor garden is beautiful. Great lighting too 👀 They took care of the group and served the best bread I have ever eaten in bologna, amongst other starters when we all arrived. Staff was so kind, and we even got to salute Mr. Biagi himself who was very kind. Amazing experience and amazing night. Prices are extremely reasonable too. Must visit 🥳🥳🥳

01/05/2024: Very nice bar especially for the kindness of the bartenders, the food is good sometimes I find it just a little filling in the pastries, keep it up! I repeat the kindness is wonderful I recommend going there!!!

17/03/2024: It's a very nice bar. It is convenient for having fun; comfortable chairs and friendly atmosphere. The pastries are good and varied. A special point is the kindness of the people behind the counter. You can always have a stall to eat and have a coffee. They also have brioche for vegans, cappuccino with soy milk, brioche with vegetable charcoal. They offer many options. It's a very comfortable place. I recommend this place 100% On a Sunday morning where everything is full, there is always room in this place. Frequent customer of this place. 👍🏻⭐️👏🏻

30/07/2024: Bezoek bij dit restaurant in Bologna is er een die je niet moet missen!!!!! Hele leuke sfeer, echt lekker eten! Als je binnen komt staan de flessen wijn en water al voor je op tafel. Antipasti staan ook al klaar. Wanneer dat op is komen ze vragen welke pasta je graag zou willen en daarna komen ze vragen wat je graag als hoofdgerecht lekker zou vinden. Wanneer het hoofdgerecht klaar is komen er als dessert wel 5 verschillende taarten op je tafel te staan waar je allemaal een stuk van mag pakken als je dat graag wil. Heel bijzondere ervaring. Wij zijn hier in 2020 en juli 2024 nog een keer opnieuw geweest en het was nog steeds net zo leuk. Zou zeggen zeker langs gaan maar in de weekenden is reserveren een absolute must.
