24/07/2025: First stop in bologna for dinner after much anticipation, however we lacked a reservation and it was apparently full (thank goodness) Made a reservation for the following night but won’t be attending. Male waiter was extremely rude and wanted us out the door before we could even leave a name. Terrible service for our first stop, however the woman there seemed to be very polite. Won’t spend a dollar at a place I don’t seemed welcomed.

15/07/2025: The best tagliatelle ragu I had in my one week in Bologna! (And that’s saying something, I ate it almost every day 😅) Came in at lunch on a Monday and there was lots of space. Great for after seeing San Luca!

08/07/2025: June 2025 I stopped at this restaurant after visiting San Luca, a little hungry, we had lunch in four typical Bolognese cuisine, very good courses, first courses, second courses and side dishes, only doubt the friggione that did not seem to me to be Bolognese, there was an anomalous ingredient but still good. Nice environment where you can breathe the air of a Bologna unfortunately forgotten.

06/06/2025: Si presenta come locale con una storia popolare e importante dietro. Tutto direbbe poco fumo e tanta sostanza. Purtroppo il risultato è l'esatto contrario, e della vecchia bologna qui non è rimasto proprio niente. Servizio al tavolo scarso, crescentine buone ma poche, sottaceti di ultima categoria, piatto di affettati davvero da supermercato Lidl e sono già stato generoso. Bis di primi con 2, ripeto, 2 tortelloni, e tagliatelle al ragu' che...non sono tagliatelle, è un tagliolino stretto con ragu' che invece di avere soffritto in pentola la classica oretta...ci sarà stato una decina di minuti con risultato davvero scialbo, per essere carini. Dolci serviti male e brutti, oltretutto la zuppa inglese davvero ingiudicabile. Il conto finale è stato una beffa....non lo voglio neanche scrivere...ma davvero un brutto colpo alla decenza. Male, davvero male, e mi dispiace in particolar modo per i tavoli di turisti stranieri che vorrebbero pagare per immergersi nella bolognesità e invece.....

This time it was the confirmation of how here, you eat really well! Typical Bolognese cuisine all prepared with care and with high quality products! This did not give us the opportunity to order the best dishes... 2. You have to send people for water several times - they forget ((( 3. They did not bring oil and balsamic vinegar with the misto salad - I had to remind them... 4. After the reminder, they brought oil and balsamic vinegar with salt, but then took it away very quickly, while the salad was not yet finished... From my point of view, this is a serious mistake! P.S. I am not an old bore, but it is obvious that young people work as waiters, maybe students... And, obviously, working as a waiter is not a profession for them! For good money, I would like to receive good service with good cuisine!

21/07/2025: Nos sentó y luego nos dijo que nos fuéramos. El servidor que nos sentó volvió, puso un poco de pan sobre la mesa, dijo "completamente reservado" -dos palabras- y nos fuimos. ¿Podrían haber sido más despreciativos? No creo que sí.
