Really amazing traditional tagliatelle al Ragu and the desserts were fantastic!! Inside it feels like youve stumbled upon a palazzo with hidden treasures. Service was super friendly, owner came to chat with us and suggested us lovely wines! We will come back here for sure!

We have been coming back to drogeria Della Rossa for many years. Our draw is Emanuele Addone and his superb hospitality and good food. Today we witnessed him stop what he was doing with a full house of guests and help a local who is blind across the street when a truck was approaching.Lasts time we were here I was asking him about a amaro-he got on his bike and wanted us to try a local one which we love and is a staple in our home. He is truly the best.

I specifically went to bologna for one night - to eat in what my ex said was “the best restaurant in the world”. So of course, at 19 years old, I hopped on a flight to Italy to eat at this very restaurant. No hotel. “We will figure it out when we get there.” Ate the food. It was the best meal I’ve ever had to date, 4 hours, 2 bottles of wine, the owner sat with us for an hour, 7 course. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I now live in Ny and have had many fine dining experiences - this was ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! But - the owner says “where are you staying?” “I don’t know - we will find some hotel” “That’s impossible my friend! Tomorrow is the ___(insert whatever random Italian event it was? Some car race?)_____” And he was right. We checked on our phones. All hotels FULLY booked out So - he calls his friend up around 10:30pm. The guy must be mid 70s or older. He arrives to the restaurant in a bike, fedora, and sports jacket. Sits with us a while, has a drink, and says “you stay with me”. And he walks us down to some university dorm - but a nice one. Opens the door, lets us in, and refused to take a penny from us. The service, the hospitality, the food, the wine, the memories… 15 years later, I still think about this place. It was SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!

We visited Drogheria della Rosa as a group of five and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away when we arrived around opening time. The restaurant itself is full of charm, with quirky decor that gives the place a warm, character-filled atmosphere. The owner was present and welcoming, and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. The wine was lovely once it arrived, and the food overall was delicious. The standout dish for us was the pork ossobuco — incredibly flavorful and beautifully cooked. That said, there were a few downsides. The service was quite slow when it came to taking our order, and our wine order was forgotten twice, which was a bit disappointing and asking for the bill was delayed. Also Portion sizes felt on the smaller side, and prices were slightly higher compared to other nearby restaurants. Overall, Drogheria della Rosa is a charming spot with great food and atmosphere, but be prepared for slower service and slightly higher prices.
