28/07/2026: My favourite restaurant from our trip to Bologna. A family-run restaurant that's clearly loved by locals, with years of tradition and the warmest hospitality. Come for the incredible bollito or the roast misto, add a few of the delicious seasonal sides, and enjoy it all with a bottle of Lambrusco. Then stay for the legendary dessert cart. A true Bologna institution and an absolute gem. If you're visiting the city, this place is an absolute must.

02/08/2026: For lunch during the week, the style is "canteen-style," but the food quality is very respectable. Everything else is average.

10/08/2026: We stopped here for a quick lunch after visiting Santa Maria Assunta. Behind the bar is a small, simple, and traditional dining room, serving local cuisine. The welcome was very warm. There's no menu: the dishes are explained verbally at the table, but without listing prices. As soon as we were seated, they also brought us bread and a few slices of cured meat, even though we hadn't ordered them. We ordered four pasta dishes, a main course, a side of fried vegetables, two glasses of wine, water, and two desserts. There was really nothing to complain about the food: everything was very good, tasty, and authentic. Simple, local, and authentic cuisine—exactly what we were looking for. Then the bill arrived, and that's where the experience changed. We were charged €3 per person for the bread we hadn't ordered. Most importantly, the side of fried vegetables was charged €80 instead of €8. The total was €175. Honestly, such a price immediately seemed absurd for what we'd eaten. We've dined at much more elegant places, eating and drinking more, without ever reaching such a figure. We were also surprised that a €175 bill didn't raise any questions before being presented to us. When we pointed out the €80 side dish, the bill was adjusted without issue. However, considering there was no menu with prices, it left us with an unpleasant feeling. A real shame. The food was excellent, and the experience could have been that of a wonderful local lunch. Instead, we left with a slightly sour taste in our mouths.

25/07/2026: you enter a bar but behind a door opens the restaurant, very simple in its furnishings, I highly recommend it because the food is nothing short of exceptional, the green tagliatelle with ragu are excellent as are the roast and the desserts, I have to go back for the tortellini!!!!

12/07/2026: Classic Emilian food, authentic and delicious recipes. Interesting menu, excellent crescents, and... unfortunately, it will close in November.

30/03/2026: Simply HOME...I'm from Rome, but I've lived in Holland for too long. I come here every year. You have to come here to eat, otherwise you can't say you've eaten in Bologna. Wonderful staff.

27/03/2026: A supermarket appetizer, a tortellino, a side dish.... They even made us pay for the inconvenience caused by the roadworks.... In the center I paid less. A disgrace!!!!!

10/06/2026: The food was truly delicious. We stopped by chance, a real surprise! Prices were reasonable. Very friendly and fast.

09/06/2026: A traditional Bolognese trattoria famous for its tagliata, which, in my opinion, is amazing, but the other dishes are also very good. It's not a cheap trattoria, but the prices are average and the quality/quantity ratio is excellent. Parking is a bit limited. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback that will probably keep me from returning is the overcrowding; the tables are very close together, getting up to go to the bathroom is a herculean task, and consequently, it's excessively noisy. Talking is tiring, and all this makes it an unrelaxing environment. What a shame.

19/07/2026: With our apartment a stones throw away we decided to pop in for lunch, the services from Mauricio, Federico & the team was fantastic. Explaining the wines from the region, typical dishes etc We visited many times during our stay due to the warm welcome and hospitality plus the quality food. We can't thank you enough.

22/04/2026: A bistro out of the ordinary. The highest quality, a wine cellar for every budget (even the deepest), and top-notch service. I dined with my friends at a large table and we had a great time. The location is strategic. The desserts are superb. And they have an incredible selection of liqueurs with a dedicated waiter who can give you the best recommendations. If you're in Bologna, go there!!!
