13/05/2025: Tuve una noche maravillosa con amigos en L’Osteria della Pieve en Bolonia. Es un restaurante encantador donde la tradición se encuentra con la innovación, desde platos clásicos boloñeses hasta especialidades creativas de mariscos que realmente sorprenden a cualquiera.
Una felicitación especial al chef por tan inspiradora cocina. El personal era amable, y el servicio era rápido y amable.
Definitivamente volveré, un lugar que vale la pena visitar!

RISTORONE

30/04/2025: Intrigued by the enthusiastic reviews - many praised the freshness of the catch - we ventured to the Ristorone, convinced that we were in front of a small gastronomic enclave.
The location is convenient: a few meters from the main artery, with adjacent parking. At the entrance, despite the reservation, we were asked to wait a few minutes. Our table, however, was already ready. Perhaps an introductory ritual, a taste of the welcoming style of the house.
The environment has the aesthetics of a no-frills tavern: spartan furnishings, generous lighting, seating that encourages a quick stop rather than a convivial evening. A rustic classicism that could also make sense, if supported by a less... vaporously distracted service.
The cuisine, unfortunately, did not redeem the experience. My partner, seduced by the praise on the fish, ordered a mixed starter. The composition, although visually generous, was a disorganized symphony of vegetable elements – pickled onions in great splendour – with 2 prawns relegated to extras.
Secondly, we relied on the advice of the waiter, who in an inspired tone offered us the scallops "attached to the shell", as if it were a rare event. The dishes, which arrived with choreographic indifference, contained 5 scallops each, cooked with excessive zeal. Browning has annihilated the delicacy of the mollusk. No creaming, no fleeting passage under the grill. Only heat, haste and little love.
But the surreal moment came with the service. Our table, very close to the one next to it, was the subject of a curious ballet: the waiter twice, without asking, took the salt and pepper from our table to take to the neighbors, talking to them as if we didn't exist. We looked at each other perplexed, wondering if we had become invisible.
The bill, needless to say, decidedly iodine. The scallops left more of a trace on the receipt than in the memory. The staff, always busy, orbited around us as if we were to be avoided.
We won't be returning. The Ristorone, at least for us, remains a missed opportunity.
22/04/2025: There were 14 of us and we had a first course each and as second courses 4kg of ribeye and 4 Bolognese cutlets and desserts. Plus they offered us a crescentina each.
They advised us to make a trio of first courses (tagliatelle with meat sauce, butter and sage sweets and tortellini in parmesan cream), followed by the advice of having second courses to share. That day they had some delicious fresh ribs weighing 1kg each and we also had some Bolognese cutlets.
Among these three dishes, the best was undoubtedly the rib-eye, really good, soft and lean, followed by the very delicate and not very heavy and gigantic cutlet. I would put the first ones last but still very good. Crescentine good and not very greasy, perhaps a pinch of salt was missing.
Delicious homemade desserts.
Very nice place with outdoor tables too. Parking available.
High prices but the food is good and fresh.

My friend told me about the fresh salsiccia, which was really delicious! I wanted to eat it again, so I returned, but it was fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation.

19/05/2025: I had lunch at Boccone del Prete and was enchanted. The place is truly evocative: surrounded by greenery, with a simply breathtaking view of Bologna. But what strikes you even before the view is the atmosphere you breathe: welcoming and genuine. The staff makes you feel at home, with a discreet but present kindness, which transmits care and attention to every detail.
The cuisine is of the highest level: dishes thought out with intelligence and prepared with excellent raw materials. Each course, from appetizers to desserts, was a real experience, satisfying for the palate and also for the eyes. The desserts, in particular, were a real treat, original and delicious.
A place to return to, and to recommend without hesitation.

21/05/2025: From the moment you walk in, you breathe in the tradition. The food is exquisite, traditional to the region, with top-quality products. Every time I come here, it's a great pleasure and a delight for the palate!
15/05/2025: The osteria offers a truly delicious handmade pasta, probably one of the best I have tasted. The ingredients are very fresh and you can feel all the care in the preparation. The environment is also very well-kept and with a particular style that makes the stay pleasant.
The service is good, but nothing exceptional - certainly not up to the prices, which are the real sore point: pasta dishes at €30 are difficult to justify, especially considering that we are not in a starred restaurant. (Wine arrived after the food 🫠)
In summary: high quality, but questionable quality/price ratio. I recommend trying it at least once, but personally I would not return.

The only flaw was that we were not offered some second courses which were offered at other tables (I presume native ones) (wild boar and sausage and beans).
Overall good experience
04/05/2025: Typical trattoria on the hills. At dinner, only first courses and crescents/tigelle with various filling ingredients, cured meats and Modena pesto are served. Crescentine really good because the fried food is light and not greasy. Good quality/price ratio (15/25€ each). Very friendly staff and fast service. Recommended to dine on the terrace with panoramic views.
