21/06/2024: DOC Bolognese cuisine, excellent quality food. If you want to eat well, hearty and Bolognese this is the right place! Even ancient dishes for example baked guinea fowl. Tagliatelle with meat sauce are SPA ZIA LI!!! A defect? It's a little expensive, but still in line with the restaurants in the city. What a meal!!!

10/07/2024: I've wanted to try this restaurant for years, we finally managed to book after a day at the river and the wait was worth it! Old-fashioned cuisine with exceptional raw materials and generous portions. Special mention for the tortellini in broth, perfect little ones, and we are very demanding about tortellini... Green tagliatelle with ham and trifle from a culinary anthology. Very light and crunchy mixed fried food, soft and tasty tripe with sauce, very tender and juicy roast rabbit. Four of us tried different dishes and all of them, from the first course to the dessert, were more than excellent. The place is rustic, the service too, but there is an attention to tradition that deserves so much respect. Highly recommended for those looking for the substance and true flavors of the past.

23/07/2024: Truck... When I think about it I remember their spectacular raw crescentina, I've never eaten something so good in my life. Tortelloni with butter and gold, my favourites. Everything was delicious, the meats, the desserts. The bill is absolutely honest. The old-fashioned place makes everything very authentic. Unforgettable.

14/08/2024: I booked for the evening when unfortunately a hurricane hit Bologna, and literally the winds, hail and heavy rain invaded the covered veranda of the venue. I gave 5 stars to the service, because everyone worked hard to manage the situation as best as possible, making us sit inside while remaining courteous and kind, despite the unexpected situation which was aggravated by a power blackout for half an hour. Once the emergency was resolved, and the kitchen was back in operation, the service was excellent! Specializing in meats, we ate an old-fashioned barbecue, cooked to perfection and plentiful. Excellent place to enjoy good meat and good wine in a trattoria atmosphere with friends. Better to book

23/07/2024: On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday there is a "business lunch" at €12.50 excluding drinks, while on Saturday and Sunday there is an "A La Carte" menu. Tuesday is closed all year round except the month of August. On Sundays in November there is polenta with ragù or polenta with pork chops. The female staff is always friendly and there is even a multilingual waiter. The prepared dishes always have an excellent taste. Huge car park nearby, with parking disc required on the dashboard for a maximum of 90 minutes.

Massima accoglienza e gentilezza di tutto il personale, con una menzione speciale per il capo sala: premuroso, divertente, preparatissimo sulla cultura e sui luoghi del territorio regionale e nazionale. Cibo di ottima qualità, fatto a mano e piacevolissimo da mangiare. Ultimo, ma non ultimo, il prezzo: 25 euro a persona per acqua, primo, secondo, contorno e un dolce condiviso. Imbattibili su tutta la linea! Andateci, se passate a Monzuno; altrimenti organizzate un viaggio lì se non siete di passaggio.

03/08/2024: We ate well, two second courses of first courses and a cut (even if drowned in oil) with a truly super side dish divided into two. There is no paper menu (they didn't give it to us) so regarding the prices you order in the dark, in my opinion they are also high compared to what you eat. In the end, with a bottle of water, 1/4 of wine and a coffee (€2), we spent €61 for a restaurant, which I would say was excessive.

03/09/2024: Exceptional flavours. The first courses are a fairy tale, really very good and honest portions. I expected something more on the starters, but the raw material is certainly of quality. Fast and organized service. Nice location. Value for money in line with what the place offers. Location on the outskirts of the centre, therefore practically accessible on foot. I absolutely recommend!

02/08/2024: Locale tipico e spartano, servizio abbastanza professionale, cibo discreto. Ho preso un antipasto di salumi, niente di eccezionale, che mi è sembrato non di elevata qualità. Tagliatelle alla bolognese, ne ho mangiato di più buone. Agnello arrosto senza infamia e senza lode. Per il livello di Bologna la qualità dei piatti è mediocre.

16/07/2024: Perfectly okay pasta but did not live up to expectations. Took a tagliatelle al ragu and a tortillioni with ricotta and tomato, both lacking salt and deeper flavors. Does not have seating, but can be taken out and eaten at nearby places. Went very quickly to get the food. You have to pay for cutlery.

07/08/2024: This was my favorite place to eat! The food is just magnificent! It tastes like mom's food! The very sweet ladies that work here don't speak English but it's easy to let them understand what you want to eat. The menu somewhat describes what is each meal. We learned the essential Italian to eat beforehand though, it was a very educational experience. Its very affordable. You need to eat here! The Tagliatella al Ragu is amazing, also the pizzas, the Scallopini al Funghi, and the Tagliatella al carbonara.

05/08/2024: Excellent small family restaurant with homemade Italian cuisine. The interior is a bit older, but if you don't mind, you will enjoy the excellent food. We ordered 1x Spaghetti Ragu, 1x Torteloni, 1x Mascarpone, 1x Sparkling water, everything cost a total of 24 EUR, which is an extremely good price for Bologna. Spaghetti Ragu costs only 5 EUR, and is probably the best Ragu you've tried. I recommend this place and you should not miss it if you come to Bologna.
