Generous portions and quality food, fair prices, friendly staff and a super friendly owner, they even let your dog come in 🐶 the place is also super unique! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

Trattoria Nonna Rosa is one of the best restaurants in Bologna, and honestly one of the best in Italy 🏆 I ate half the menu here, starters, mains, meat cuts, dessert, cocktails, all of it, and every single plate was insanely good. The truffle pasta alone is worth the trip 🍝 Real, honest Italian cooking with soul, not tourist food. The service and hospitality are absolute top level, warm, genuine, the kind of people who make you feel like family from the first minute ❤️ I loved it so much I came back two days in a row before my departure, and that says everything. If I’m ever passing through Bologna again, this is the first pin on my map 📍 10/10, worth every euro. Grazie Nonna Rosa, you ruined all other restaurants for me 🙌

22/06/2026: The food was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! The waiter was also excellent, but I found the attitude of the woman who rolled her eyes at the customers really out of place.
20/06/2026: A bit hot at 7 30 pm, but a lovely place with great wait staff and delicious food.the tiramisu was good 👍 👍

04/07/2026: A simple, small, and intimate space, completely new. It's located just steps from Piazza Maggiore. The location is well-maintained, and the two guys are truly friendly and knowledgeable, ready to meet the customer's needs.
