Let's just say the food is average and the staff is friendly. They do everything openly, unlike other places that seem cleaner, so I appreciate them: the pizza chef's hands are dirty from the porter's work, they then knead the dough, they touch the money, and then the food, everyone does everything, a grand bazaar, a genuine place.

Really relaxing setting, our table was in the garden, but sheltered from the sun. Delicious pizzas. Really wished I'd had room to try the tiramisu, looked incredible. Next visit.

A traditional Bolognese trattoria in the city center, highly recommended. We had a wonderful lunch, and the service was impeccable. Prices are average, but the food is delicious.

Going to Belle Arti for dinner was the best decision we made during our visit to Bologna.
The food was SPECTACULAR. We ordered Il Tagliere appetizers, everything was delicious, and it was accompanied by a wood-fired focaccia that I'll be dreaming about forever!
To top it all off, I ordered the Tortellini Nero al Tartufo, definitely the best tortellini I've ever had.
But the best thing of all was the staff. It's a family business and they make you feel right at home. We met Nona Emma, who makes the best lasagna and tiramisu—bellesima!
We will definitely be back to eat and visit them again.

A must-visit in Bologna.
A family-run trattoria dating back to 1887. The grandmother is in the kitchen, the grandfather is the boss, the children welcome you and treat you like family, and the grandson makes sure everything arrives perfectly.
We had the lasagna Bolognese, which was finger-licking good, and the tiramisu was out of this world (both are made by Nona Emma).
We also had Il Tagliere, which I recommend as an appetizer if you're up for a full meal.
I can't forget the wood-fired pizza—excellent!!!
Finally, we ended up drinking wine with the whole family at the outside table, chatting and laughing until 12:30 am.
You can tell they're a GREAT FAMILY.
We stayed three nights, eating there twice in the evening and once at lunchtime.
Thank you for all the kindness and warmth you showed us.
I'll be back!!!
