11/11/2025: Terrible The food arrived after 2 hours. First, the fries were served, undercooked and cold, which gave me an incredible stomach ache. After two bites of pizza, I had a terrible, excruciating stomach ache. The prices are high and not worth the food. The place doesn't look nice, neither inside nor out, and the karaoke... let's not even talk about it. Rude, trashy old men singing neomelodic songs in Neapolitan... you can imagine. The staff wasn't friendly, but a little rude. I asked for the pizzas, he looked at me and didn't answer. I was shocked.

17/01/2026: On December 4, 2025, I received a panettone damaged due to inadequate packaging. The panettone was crushed and, given that it was a gift, was no longer usable. I immediately contacted the seller on WhatsApp, who promptly opened a request for a replacement with a return. After two weeks, having received no news, I contacted them again and they assured me they had sent a new panettone (they didn't ship anything, because I didn't receive any tracking). After the holidays, they offered me a discount on my next purchase, which I refused. Finally, they confirmed that I could return the goods and that they would send me the return label. I've been waiting for it for about 10 days. Now they're not responding to my messages anymore. They've been taking me for a ride. Stay away from this seller. I'll contact the consumer protection association.

29/10/2025: Service: The staff were standoffish and pushy, hovering to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. They continued to push the tasting menu despite our clear preference to share à la carte. Several staff members stood around watching guests’ every move, creating an uncomfortable environment. Despite so many staff waiting idly, service dropped off considerably once we ordered. Ambience: The space felt cold and uninviting – bright overhead lights, teal floors, and a few awkwardly spaced tables in the center made it resemble a cafeteria more than a restaurant. The room had an echo that only heightened the lack of warmth or atmosphere. With harsh lighting reflecting off the glass windows, there was no view to enjoy – only glare. View (or lack thereof): When we asked to sit outside on a clear, mild evening (around 65°F / 18°C), we were told the terrace was closed for the winter (early October). Given that other nearby restaurants had outdoor seating open with blankets or heaters, this seemed more like a choice of convenience than necessity. Food: The food was fine but unremarkable. The menu sounded more creative than what was actually served, and none of the dishes stood out. Prices were reasonable for Positano, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend dining here, even for those staying at the hotel.

04/10/2025: The food, service, and view are excellent. There are several tasting menus to choose from as well as à la carte and the wine list is well conceived and well priced. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit strange, as it is a hotel and the restaurant is down one floor from the lobby. Unfortunately, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, but we found our way. The one issue we had was the room itself. While the view is incomparable, the decor is dated and a bit sterile. Feels more like a wedding hall than a Michelin star restaurant. Once the tables filled in, it was a bit warmer, but the room could really stand a makeover. Food has a decidedly French flair and everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly served, and beautifully explained. Overall very enjoyable.

08/12/2025: We went for pizza on Sunday evening and, since there were several empty tables, we were able to sit right away. Expectations were high given the numerous recommendations from an acquaintance, but we probably arrived at a bad time. The pizza dough was visibly undercooked. Furthermore, throughout the evening, the pizza chefs could be heard loudly complaining about something or other and constantly arguing with people waiting for takeout. Perhaps this type of distraction doesn't benefit the overall service and is a bit annoying for those sitting in the dining room. We also noticed that, since the kitchen door behind the register was open, someone was picking up chips from a tray and putting them in a takeout box. The same person had just moments before handled a bill without washing their hands. Furthermore, if any of the managers ever read this review, I recommend showing an itemized bill when paying, rather than simply a "trusted" total. I'm sure the bill was accurate, but why force a customer to leave with some doubts or force them to legitimately ask for a detailed bill before paying? These are my personal opinions, but it obviously doesn't encourage us to return next time, especially since I don't think, after this review, we'd be welcome guests. We'll get over it.

11/01/2026: I'd been here years ago and wasn't happy with the service, but I wanted to give it a second chance! Never again! Terrible experience! The food tasted awful, but the worst part was the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the staff. One waitress, to let us know we needed to clear our table, said it loudly to her colleague, giggling so we could hear her. Spoiler alert: she could have just come up to us and told us that since we'd ordered dessert, we'd have to leave the table after eating it. Even though we stayed for an hour and a half, which was practically enough time to eat. It seems obvious to me that we'd leave after eating dessert! Besides, there was no one standing around waiting for the table to be freed up! But in any case, it seems really rude and unprofessional to giggle and talk badly about customers out loud like kindergarteners. NO COMMENT! Never again! 😉

16/09/2025: A bar with a beautiful panoramic terrace. The ice cream is delicious, as are the tiramisu and profiteroles. Prices are average.

01/09/2025: This bar is spectacular, perfect for its magnificent sea view and its cocktails. The staff is also very friendly and unobtrusive. I spent three days in Palinuro, and given the deliciousness of the cocktails and accompanying appetizers, we decided to skip lunch on the beach and enjoy a delicious aperitivo at sunset!

03/09/2025: The staff is incredibly rude, except for the owner and the guy who works there. It's a terrible place, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'll never set foot in it again.

10/07/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. Nice large room with an internal lounge and a covered external room for smokers. Nice place for any occasion of the day from breakfast to aperitif. A point of reference also for any business appointments.

30/11/2025: A positive experience, a welcoming and clean place, and very friendly staff. Varied menu with many options. Excellent location and ample parking. The icing on the cake was the bill, with fair prices. Definitely worth returning!

06/09/2025: Terrible appetizer: pasta with beans and mussels that tasted like just fried rice and beans, and still-frozen shrimp. Not recommended.

11/08/2025: A highly recommended place. They're super nice, always available, and the food is good both at the bar and in the restaurant. Special mention for Letizia, the owner, who is a delight and makes you feel at home.

04/01/2026: We booked a table for 20 at La Fucina for New Year's Eve and lunch... everything was simply impeccable! The dinner and lunch were delicious, and the staff was friendly and always available. Antonello, the owner, is a humble and respectable guy. Excellent staff! Rating: 5 stars

20/12/2025: A complete disappointment from top to bottom...unfortunately, I had fond memories...but the place no longer lives up to the promises on the digital menu: I was served a sandwich that was supposed to contain pumpkin cream, but instead it simply contained a piece of grilled pumpkin. When I pointed out the discrepancy, not only did they not apologize, but insisted it was the same thing. Furthermore, the quality was terrible: the sandwich meat was tough, and the guanciale, which should have been included, never showed up. In short, an inedible experience, and the staff's attitude was truly unprofessional. I strongly advise against setting foot there.
