29/12/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but it was a terrible experience. I'd been there once before a couple of weeks earlier, and the pizzas were also slightly burnt. This time, however, they were way overly burnt; out of three pizzas, maybe half was safe. Furthermore, I'd ordered them for 10:15 PM and waited over twenty minutes with the place practically empty. It's funny that I'm a pizza chef myself, and you DON'T send out pizzas like that. Honestly, I wonder how you can only have three pizzas to make and burn them all. I wish I could give a lower rating.

30/04/2026: The food is good, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. The stuffed fried eggplants in particular are spectacular, absolutely worth trying! The price is also more than fair, which makes the experience overall enjoyable. Unfortunately, there's a major problem with the service: the wait times are too long and it becomes frustrating.

04/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience. I sat down at a table to get gelato, but was told I couldn't order a cone without paying a €2 surcharge for table service only. At that point, I decided to go straight to the register to get it to go, since the price listed for a cone was €3. However, when I got to the register, I was asked to pay €3.50 without any clear explanation. Furthermore, the quantity of gelato was truly small for the price. To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional and disorganized. Terrible service. I wouldn't recommend it.

22/12/2025: Rude, impolite, and unfair staff. A person I don't know placed an order using slang, and I (having the same order) was accused. Even when I showed the evidence, showing the chat I personally had with the staff, they didn't believe me. Horrible place, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

17/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I've been to this sandwich shop several times with my girlfriend and have always spoken highly of them... in fact, I've even recommended them to friends. Tonight, something truly surreal happened: I found an iron bolt in my sandwich... luckily, we were eating it in the car, and under the light while I was drinking, I saw something shiny inside the sandwich. My partner immediately went inside and reported the incident to the cashier, who didn't even apologize. "I should point out that we reported the incident not for financial gain but to protect ourselves from the potential loss of other bolts inside other sandwiches. Our excitement was especially high if a child would eat a sandwich like that," so this time it was a surreal experience. It was certainly a coincidence, but I was very scared at the thought that I was about to ingest an iron bolt.

20/12/2025: I went for dinner with colleagues, and I must say I was already certain I'd stumbled upon a place where the flavors of yesteryear are truly mouth-watering when prepared with heart and passion. Their signature dishes are the cod, both with salad and sauce, and the pasta with lard. Everything was prepared quickly and professionally by the waiter, who immediately welcomed us along with the owner. A simple and small place, but warm and welcoming, with fair prices. Once again, the difference lies in the people!

22/11/2025: Everything was good. Everything was excellent. The atmosphere was top-notch. The only thing that really bothered me was when we paid. There were three of us, two of us paid in cash, one by debit card. The owner even went so far as to tell his nephew to take a €3 tip. This was a huge lapse in style, but we'd have given it on our own initiative anyway. He didn't even bother to provide a receipt. We can't really complain, but it was very unpleasant.

04/04/2026: So, as an all-you-can-eat, it's fantastic. The prices are modest, but it would be better if there was more lighting. The waiters are very kind, except for one black guy (I'm not racist, but he really annoyed me). When we were about to pay, he was not only pointlessly entertaining us, asking us to beg (from what I understand because he didn't even speak Italian) but he was also overcharging us.

13/03/2026: Has management changed? 🤔 The quality of service has dropped dramatically. - The same products are being passed around the conveyor belt, with the total inattention of the people behind the counter, who spent more time chatting than checking to see if certain "dishes" were out. - I ordered a portion of ramen and received a very salty broth with double-cut carrots and zucchini, a very salty omelette slathered on top, and noodles whose quality was significantly inferior to the simple Saikebon you could easily buy in a supermarket. The soy noodles I subsequently ordered were also very salty, with the same vegetables but at least without the broth (equally inedible). - There are more oranges, pineapples, and deli products than sushi. - The quality of the food is very questionable, I felt sick after leaving the restaurant. I rarely leave negative reviews for a place (even if I've been dissatisfied), but in this case, I think they've crossed a line. The service leaves you feeling like they don't care about customer satisfaction because you've already sat down and have to pay. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO LOSE THAT €20 ON THE STREET INSTEAD OF SPENDING IT HERE. I WOULD HAVE FELT LESS GUILTY. The water was good...it wasn't salty! DON'T TRUST some of the photos and reviews (which were probably intended for another establishment. You can tell by the atmosphere and the service). When you leave, you'll be hungry, thirsty, with a salty mouth...and in dire need of a bathroom!

18/02/2026: Plates and glasses aren't always clean. The food is poor.

16/10/2025: A traditional shop with the best pastries in town. The tiramisu and ice cream are simply heavenly. The owner is very attentive and friendly.

18/04/2026: While our panini was being prepared, the waiter was also serving everyone else who came in, so we had to wait a very long time. This is not fair.

31/03/2026: Proprietors were welcoming and generous! Drinks and aperitivo - delicious!

20/03/2026: I went to this café yesterday and had a really great time. The staff is extremely friendly and kind, making you feel at ease right away. The coffee is excellent, and, much appreciated, they even recommended a dessert to go with it: truly delicious! The place is spacious and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing break. I'll definitely be back!

12/01/2026: The wait was long, the place was cold, the service was based on friends and then we had a terrible pizza, the price was out of proportion.

05/09/2025: A wood-fired oven restaurant serving excellent traditional appetizers and first courses, featuring generously priced local produce.

31/05/2026: The place is nice, large and huge, but the cutlery is dirty, if you look at the menu a margherita cost €4.00 now it costs €5.50, everything has increased, but the food is good.

17/01/2026: Each time, the same wonderful confirmation: exquisite dishes, expertly prepared, with authentic and well-balanced flavors that manage to be intense without ever being heavy. The cuisine is respected, enhanced, and served with the care that makes the difference between "eating well" and "mementoful eating." Even takeout—which is far from a given—maintains the quality, flavor, and abundance worthy of table service. Da Carlo is the classic place where you go with peace of mind, knowing you'll make a great impression on your guests and that you'll leave happy (and definitely full) first. A serious, reliable restaurant, but with that genuine warmth that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended for special occasions... and for when you simply want to eat truly well.

19/10/2025: We went to Ristorante Romano da Carlo for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Excellent products and impeccable service. Plus, it's excellent value for money. I recommend you go and try it. Well done!!!

13/06/2026: Refreshing lunch after the boat trip. Simple dishes prepared with care and love. A very quaint and simple place that encourages you to slow down.
