26/09/2025: Scafati's historic pizzeria offers takeout pizza or dine-in, sitting outside, where you're well-protected even in winter. The display case is always stocked with various delicacies and pizzas. What can I say? You can't control your heart and your stomach 😂😂😂. Top!!!

The tagliatelle with truffle and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent. 🥰 The place was very welcoming and the staff were very kind. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I have another opportunity, I will definitely return. ❤️

19/08/2025: I can't comment on the quality of the food because, despite having made a reservation, upon our arrival we were told that the table was still unavailable. The atmosphere was too hot and chaotic. Having already had experience, as soon as I saw that none of the tables had food, I realized that the kitchen was out of sorts and we left.

01/11/2025: We found a piece of French fry in the capricciosa, and well, that can happen... But then comes the worst. A hair on the other pizza (if you're not careful, the one with mushrooms). I don't know what to say!

07/09/2025: I hadn't been to this pizzeria for 2 years and had fond memories of it, so I returned with 5 other friends. Maybe I chose the wrong evening, or maybe they changed the pizza chef, but we ate pizzas that weren't good at all. The Margherita pizzas in particular were inedible. I'm sorry I made a bad impression on my guests; it was an experience to forget.

02/01/2026: Ordered on Just Eat based on good reviews and estimated delivery time of "15-30 minutes." I strongly advise against ordering takeout from this pizzeria. After a ruined Friday night, four consecutive calls, a two-hour delay, and various curses while scrolling through the calendar four times... the pizza wasn't even that great. Two-hour wait, insane price of €23.30 for two pizzas and a portion of fries. DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT!

11/12/2025: Very small place but nicely decorated. The lady in the dining room was very kind and courteous. The pizzas were good with a good, not heavy dough. It's just a shame there was a little... The crust was burnt, but a casual visit is fine.

21/01/2026: This hotel is so-so. But the soundproofing is absolutely terrible. You can hear everyone showering perfectly clearly. 🙄 I can hear the doorbell ringing in the next room perfectly clearly. 26/07/2025: Bad experience, the croissants taste like rubber, very little toppings, they can't make a cappuccino, almost cold with no foam, in 40 years it was... the worst breakfast I've ever had.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, from pancakes to toast, protein shakes, salads, healthy bowls with basmati and black rice, and numerous lactose-free and gluten-free options. The real highlight is that they allow you to customize the dishes with your preferred weights.

Even takeout—which is far from a given—maintains the quality, flavor, and abundance worthy of table service. Da Carlo is the classic place where you go with peace of mind, knowing you'll make a great impression on your guests and that you'll leave happy (and definitely full) first. A serious, reliable restaurant, but with that genuine warmth that makes you feel at home. Highly recommended for special occasions... and for when you simply want to eat truly well.
